The motion tracking gimmick gets old within about 5 minutes (should have just been used in a music video or a short film).
The writing is bloody terrible.
It's the quintessential "reddit" movie. All style and no substance, and rubes lost their minds over it. It's just so gimmicky.
It's action schlock

The motion track gimmick is extremely cheap and the rest of the aesthetic was just made with extremely cheap lighting.
Also Dollar-store Tom Hardy didn't cost much to hire.
>being contrarian for the sake of it
You also forgot to mention how it insists upon itself.

your hyperbole automatically prejudices potential fans against it. i can only conclude that your are some kind of no-life Blade Runner sycophant. Do us all a favor (yourself most of all) and go outside now.
It was a nice twist on the tired John Whick/Taken trope of an experience fighter coming out of retirement to avenge his daughter/gf/dog/etc however it ultimately end up being the same kind of film.
The Australian dollar is worth USD$800,000 because we’re not printing trillions to support other countries tangled up in pointless protracted slaughter.
Absolutely agree.
Daybreakers is also vampire kino that the Aussies made for the price of six days of Melissa McCarthy’s craft services while Hollywood can’t sort out the fricking Blade reboot.
Same guys made ‘Undead’ for a million dollarydoos and despite it getting a little strangely paced in parts it’s fricking great as well.
For $3m budget it had no right to be as good as it was. Ending was a bit of a miss though.
It was the guy who made Saw, Blumhouse just tagged along

The Aussie dollar is fricking shit due to all our money printing and it cracks me up, hope it plummets even more, getting a solid payrise without doing a thing
t. earns USD
this movie was actually okay and I only ever saw it on DVD
Obligatory
Tom Hardy does the same character in all his movies, the doppelganger whatever his name is can actually act.
I literally thought he was Tom Hardy in The Invitation (2015) and only later found out it was a completely different guy.
Frick, it would be better.

>tfw no STEM
The movie was great sci-fi which is rare these days.

Venom minus the expensive cg
it's venom but good
This was one of the best films of the decade and the best new sci-fi i recall in my adult life. What’s this homie been up to since?
they were gonna make a tv show but I think it fell through
He starred in 2 Venom movies so he eatin' good cuz there's another on the way.

Shut up, homosexual shill.

What? Did you even watch the same movie?
Could've done without the Chris Pratt tier acting
Slop
moron op comparing to blade runner when he should be comparing it to Venom.
Venom and this were just psyops for Neuralink talking to you in your head

korean poster is cooler. i'd say what it mogs is ex machina, not bladerunner.
wait this was BLUMHOUSE? it's fricking good for blumhouse
For $3m budget it had no right to be as good as it was. Ending was a bit of a miss though.

Good for him, too bad he had to make that piece of shit Invisible Man movie
Without riling up the posters that think all movies are too long; Ex Machina was one of those movies that wasn't long enough.
Also not very good
>Australian movie
Cringe.
Its breddy gud
My mother also liked it
But enough about my dick
>tfw the mom probably died immediatly after the movie's end, and in a very frightening, painful, and confusing way.
Why'd they have to include the asian gender queer non binary troonoid hacker girl clapping back at him in the VR place?
You fricking know why
seemed more like a dig at woke shit than actual woke shit. she's obviously supposed to be needlessly antagonistic.
Where did that guy disappear to?
The fight scenes were unique and memorable. It is far more memorable than the goyslop that is the Marvel's CGI fest.
I like when the ending music comes up on shuffle on my playlists. Great track. Great ending. Solid sci-fi movie.
Doesn't stem have to be implanted inside you? How did the end work, Dane dehaan took stem out?
It's the kind of movie that people who don't watch many movies would call "bad ass"
>Budget 4 millions
>Movie looks like its 40 millions
They clearly knew what they were doing.
yeah it's excellent, fantastic ending
its a fun action film, nothing more homosexual
