But my issue was largely the fact that it was a AMC show which meant they immediately pulled a Walking Dead season two, ie the Preacher spends it’s entire first season dicking around a Texas city for budgetary reasons and to accommodate that they start the show loosely adapting the Quincanon story. I get what they were going for but I didn’t really think it worked and to me the roadtrip across America was a key part of the comic so not getting that at all in the first season pissed me off.
