Did Cinemaphile even LIKE Radiant is the Blood of the Baboon Heart?
I know it "underperformed" so hard we've no hope of another season, but damn, I thought it'd at least get love HERE.

Yeah? There were discussion threads for like a week and a half straight after it dropped. General consensus was that it definitely feels like a salvaged Season 8 rather than a proper movie, but most people liked it.
it pretty much is, i assume the only reason the movie came out so quickly after being announced was because a good portion of S8 had already been mid-production before the cancellation/revival
they were never gonna get another chance and they shmucked around and left a bunch of shit open. Oh well.
It was yet another case of a show getting fricked by the network and anons trying their best to be grateful for what we got, at least as far as venture brothers goes what we got was pretty great.
I liked it
Felt more like an ending to the NY arc than a series finale
They sold out all the Blu-Rays. I know because a friend of mine got fricked on the Amazon order and couldn't get it anywhere else.
I liked it? I'm glad it was made? I'd be lying if ANY of the jokes landed well enough to make me really laugh, aside from Helper with the shotgun in the elevator. And the ending sort of flopped on the floor of the boat like a dying fish.
I got a chuckle out of Brock's "one of the top superscientists and a highly trained supersoldier that used to be one of us!" making everyone burst out laughing.
"You guys suck."
I liked it. Tied off the NY arc, brought things back to the compound, we got some Orpheus, back down to the core crew. Very little Billy and White which was great. The only thing missing would have been a little 24 but if we never get any more it was a decent ending of sorts. I'm still holding out hope someone will pick them up for another season but it probably won't.
>Very little Billy and White which was great
kys Black person
I LIKED it
"Underperformed"
you are an idiot
Just goes to show the damage that can happen to even beloved properties if they don't maintain a regular flow of new content to keep people interested. Not a peep about this coming out on twitter or anywhere.
oof
It had a feel of a handful of episodes snitched together like a Frankenstein's monster with an ending that left more questions then answers. In short the fanbase loved it.
how the hell did the ending leave more questions than answers? It revealed who the boy's biological mother is, who actually carried the boys, the exact nature of Rusty and Monarch's relationship, and resolved the conflict between Hank and Dean
It didn't end every possible story hook like the Harry Potter epilogue despite the creators saying they'd always intended on a "And they had many adventures thereafter." ending for years.
Many of the core mysteries remain unanswered Where is Jonas' head, Grove Cleveland Time Machine. Movie Night etc. The movie was hailed as a finale the fans were waiting for but all we got were who the mom is, in season 7 we already found out Doc and Monarch were related going over it again in the move felt like well treaded ground.
Hey look
A fool
anon there wasn't a single image of scare bear despite him being able to be easily written off by the movie, a pretty major plot element at that just ignored
don't call people pointing out foolishness fools that's silly
>REEEEE I DIDN'T GET TO FIND OUT WHO SCARE BEAR IS
Grover Cleveland's time machine isn't a core mystery lmao
What do you consider core mysteries?
>Hank and Dean's mother
>Rusty and Malcolm's exact relationship
>what happened to Jonas
>Vendata's true identity
>Movie Night
>Answered
>Answered
>Head is with OSI
>Answered
>Fun to speculate, but most likely Vendata in a spout of revengence. People who say it was Manstrong are actually moronic.
In the Venture Bros? Anything not directly related to the ongoing relationships in the show is meaningless. Doc and Jackson do a great job spinning background details into new story threads but this show was never actually about deepest lore mysteries.
the only actual mystery left unanswered is the movie night massacre and I'm fine with that being left ambiguous.
well, it didn't suck my dick and call me daddy, so I'm disappointed.
/s
I think some people would have preferred a Jonas Venture show
I bought it on BRD and got its little digital code for Vudu.
How could it under preform?
It did get love here, and it caused a big spike in people rewatching the show on Max
I think it's funny some are mad that every single mystery and lore tidbit wasn't tied up, if you were expecting that you're a fool
>8 chained autosage discussion threads
>lol I didn't see those I'm a frickin casual
frick OFF dude
looks like the industry is definitely dying
I haven't watched it yet. Too scared its going to be even worse than the previous season which I hated.
