I'd change it by adding maybe 1 or 2 racers and way less screen time for the inept robot guys, good movie but yeah the middle is why I'm never jumping to watch it again

Would have been 10/10 without the dumb female racer.

You mean the literal nanosecond they ran out of budget?
It works, but still feels hollow.

I think it's fine. The movie never takes itself seriously for such a cheesy end and everything has been wrapped up
If i could change 1 thing I would remove the cut to the family watching tv bit. Feels too forced

This song does something to me. Movie feels like an F Zero racing tournament and the animation is incredible.

This movie marked the time where big budget animation kino was no longer a possibility and CGI was the inevitable future.

Saw this movie for the first time when I went over to a girls house I met on tinder and she had a copy, this was probably eight years ago. She was a little homely but had huge breasts and put this on after we banged and I was immediately so much more interested in the movie than her which I think she kinda picked up on but didn’t make a thing out of it. When I got home I ordered the blu ray and have watched it several times since then, super fun movie. Shame about the gal though she started going into the whole “he/him” loony troons thing because she was a bit boyish and fell for it because Portland is an awful place lmao. Haven’t talked to her in over half a decade but I hope for her sake she didn’t cut those rocking breasts off or anything moronic like that.

    >Protagonist fighting tooth and nail to win with his 60's muscle car in an era dominated by high-tech hovercraft
    So much fricking SOUL

Yes art this art that, the problem is you need decent writers to do something meaningful with that art. And that's where it fails miserably.

Style over substance trash. But not the good kind of trash. Just the pathetic kind. And it looks awful visually too.
