    >focing husband and kids to be unhappy but wealthy is a good thing. What is the point of wealth if you hate yourself, your family and life?
    >actually didn't care about her daughter being a lesbian, just wanted to marry off her to a b***h with money that would have abused her daugher
    >fat ass and breasts only because she is fat
wow, everything you said was wrong

Odalia is a woman of principles which is something sorely lacking in the modern age

I mean, was she really THAT bad?

        actually yes, unironically
the actual worst part was, there was plenty of time for her to come to her senses, and yet everything decision she made just made everything worse

Yeah, Amity has plenty of chances... But I more blame the shitty writing than Amity.

      husband
Don't why they chickened out and made the dad a victim as well, when he was implied to be as much of an butthole as his wife. That"s not something you can easily handwave retcon/once first shown.

        Oh for frick's...
The show made it very clear early on the difference between the two. The mother acted like she did out of rampant unchecked narcissism. The father on the other hand did it because he thought he knew what was best for his daughter, even if she didn't see it at the time.
Once the two of them saw what their actions were doing to Amity, they followed the paths of their characterizations. The mother doubled down and acted like a narcissistic b***h, and the father backed off because he loves and cares for Amity and just wants her to be happy at the end of the day.

It baffles me, fricking baffles me how many grown men here can't follow such a basic narrative.

..This was never once implied when they first appeared anon, and you know it. Drop the pretentious "know it all" shit. Not a good look when it's for something like the Owl House of all things.

When they first appeared? No. It was barely an introduction. But it was shown not long after. I can't help that you're a brainlet who saw them once and immediately wrote your own headcanon and then decided it was somehow wrong for the writer to do what they wanted instead of what you expected.
I have a suggestion: Try being less stupid and hardheaded. Maybe life will be more enjoyable.

Does Dana have some long lasting resentment against her mom or something? Odalia could've been redeemed but she chose to only redeem the dad instead? Seriously, Odalia deserved to be saved as well. Frick Dana, man.

As if she was some magical pink-headed lesbian girl in the Boiling Isles. I can tell from here you've never worked on any project in your life; the project is above you. You're just a channel for it to happen

So stfu and go jerk off all the putrid shit out of your balls, is not letting you think straight

Lesbian erasure would've been too much for the show. There was probably a cut scene where Belos, in the middle of committing genocide, gives a line about supporting gay rights

He should be a lot of things due to being from 1600s Connecticut but since he's never explicitly stated to be Christian in the show, I'll choose to believe otherwise

Wanted to see how "right" she was while she was in the middle of dying like every other witch in the realm. Although I can kind of excuse a random woman who just runs a war-machine manufacturing company wouldn't know about the truth of the Day of Unity, it felt pretty dumb that someone like Snapdragon didn't suspect anything at all.
