they usually aren't because anime has different goals and limitations. while manga is like books in that it's only limited by the author. there are examples of the anime adaption improving the source material though. the original sailor moon probably the biggest one
Fist of the North Star is pretty much perfect. It doesn't look as good as the manga and it has filler but it absolutely nails everything that made the manga great. If you just skip the filler it's essentially the manga animated.
it had terrible budget issues, this is literally some guy shaking the cell. Sure it's soulful but let's be real, a lot of the animation was terrible in it.
Later in the series a native american literally sees Hitler in the future, and there's a 2023 transexual who joins the main cast and all of the good guys gush over how womanly he is
It really is a shame how far off the rails it's gone. I was really interested in seeing if the author could come up with a realistic resolution that doesn't involve Thorfinn compromising his morals in some way, but all that other bullshit? Wew lad.
It's good but the S2 goes way too hard on the pacifism. All the blows and damage Thorfinn suffered most have severely fricked up his line of thinking. It is such a jarring unrealistic way of thinking that it can only exist in a fiction setting and even then, it is quite an extreme. Even Thors didn't hesitate to beat people to defend others. The final message is basically "I'll go away really far, if you come to where I am, I'll just go farther away still." How is that a good message? Just keep running away, leave all behind and built something new again, because its okay as long as you're alive?
Second season is pretty great.
First season is pretty standard shounen stuff, just okay.
Hilarious that of course, most animetards found the second season boring because it wasn't filled with whoa epic anime fights wow mc is so strong wowwww
I just can't take anime silliness seriously. At least I can write off shonen as being aimed for kids and have fun with it. But when a cartoon wants me to apply real life rules and logic to it, I just can't help it.
I watched the first few episodes after this was hyped up as some le super serious and grounded historical series
needless to say that was complete horseshit. I watch some anime, but people who consume large quantities have abhorrent standards. No different from people who watch disney shit and capeshit. The most popular anime are watched mainly by the same crowd anyways.
Like all anime, no.
The first season is bad, the second season is very good. I advise you to read the manga anyway.
Does Cinemaphile have enemies?
It gets bad after all the main characters stop being femboys
>all
Thorfinn was a twunk at most.
He was a child
He was a teen.
Lusting after teen boys is more of a med thing
'tis vikino. The two seasons are very different though. First one is action heavy, second one not so much.
the manga is good until askeladd dies
the anime isn't good
has a mangagay EVER said "the anime is good" ?
Ashita no Joe
OPM s1

if you have a wife son, you will love it, especially the later chapters
>"What if a Viking was a pacifist!"
It's moronic, just like Trigun.
what the frick was his problem
>those lip flaps
anime is dead
? anime always used those kinds of lip flaps unless it's a high budget movie or something.
all seasonal anime always looked like this during simple dialogue scenes. If she moved more Cinemaphile would be crying "forced animation"
it was absolute kino right up to the second this Black person showed up on screen then it was garbage
I didn't even get to S2, could barely stand S1 and only watched it due to sunk cost after weeks of "it gets good eventually" (it didn't)
Later in the series a native american literally sees Hitler in the future, and there's a 2023 transexual who joins the main cast and all of the good guys gush over how womanly he is
this sounds like the shit you guys make up when you pitch a disney remake

I hope a pack of Black folk rapes you in the ass
Depends. Are you a troony? You post tranime on Cinemaphile so I assume you are. Then it is something for you.

post axewound, troon
yes, but like Berserk, it filters edgelords heavily
Fell off after Askeladd died, rather like Berserk spiritually ended at the eclipse. What is it with mangas peaking in their prologue arcs?
Why are you mentally 12?
Give me an argument to the contrary. I can defend myself.

the manga has berserk syndrome and adds too many useless characters in the second half, the first two seasons of the anime are grade A kino though
