Waven is playable now and it shows what is seemingly the aftermath of Season 4... Which is that someone fricking explodes and the world gets double-flooded so now there's even smaller islands left.
This may or may not be a spoiler, but Eva, Ruel, Grovy/Dally, their youngest kid Pin (born during S3), and a few other side characters (including pirate girl) have survived. There's a tab called "Clan Quests" that shows the Brotherhood, including Yugo and Amalia, and there's an Eliatrope that looks like an older Yugo on the splash art. There's also an Iop girl that might be Elely? But Elely and Flopin aren't around in the first couple areas you can explore right now. Eva and Grovy haven't said anything as part of the quests about what happened to Flopin and Elely.
I am utterly uninterested by yet another shitty 'free to play' microtransaction ridden online game. Ankama should move on to solo games. Single Player RPGs keep making bank lately too.
Surprisingly, the microtransactions this time around are skins and a season pass type thing that only gives cosmetics and minor stuff that doesn't give you a huge advantage over non-paypig players.
The game is also really, really stripped down compared to Dofus and Wakfu. There's less busy work. No random encounters. No trade skills or farming. It's all little instanced missions with different challenges. You get loot chests as rewards that contain random gear and spell cards that can be leveled up the more duplicates you get.
It's a well designed game in ways that their previous MMOs absolutely weren't... But I think it's going to alienate their turbo autist fans who live for MMO Autism busywork.

Apparently Elely is the pirate girl with the sidecut in the top center of the splashart when you boot the game up.
I figured that might be the case, since her design was unique and not one of the various class skins.

Yes, Season 2 was great, it's season 3 and the movies that had massive issues.

It has less 'random shenanigans episode', which depending how much you liked the 'quest of the week' thing can be seen as good or bad.

There's an English dub, but I heard it sucks.
