i really like what little we got from season 2, Mortos der Soulstealer aside
had Nick cancelled it 1 day later, Invader Poonchy and Nubs of Doom would've been completed. Former was an OK script, nothing special, but the latter was hilarious
this was the only finished season 2 ep written by Rob Hummel. Most of them were written by either Eric Trueheart or Jhonen himself (he wrote the 22 mins eps like Backseat Drivers and Taster of Pork)

Taster of Pork is such a Jhonen episode. The concept of a spell that makes everything taste like pork came from Squee!, plus the hill from JTHM and I Feel Sick (where Nny and Devi had their date) is visited at one point. Gaz also says the Konami code (Jhonen is a big gamer)
Simon Says Doom is the worst Zim episode ever. Luckily, it wasn't finished on time. Here is the script

Dib's design and personality were changed in season 2. He is more comedic and less of a straight man. Too bad that because S2 was cut short, we didn't see much of this new Dib
