But yeah, Vaggie has nothing interesting going for her. What makes the couple even less believable is that in order to keep her secret, Vaggie would also need to avoid talking about her past and home. It's said in episode 7 that they shared everything, but the frick would Vaggie have to share with Charlie if she had to keep being secretive about basically everything related to her life? Chaggie was a mistake.

My option is that Vaggie lied about everything to Charlie, which is worse, as far as Charlie knows their entire relationship could be a lie and Vaggie just wants to use her.

This is seriously the most annoying voice direction. Did the person behind it just hate the actress or something? Everyone else has so much more effort put in to try and make them fun or at least ATTEMPT to capture that same magic from the pilot. For her it's the same fricking thing every time.
Genuinely this, cry about the Angel Dust change all you want, but Vaggie is the worst downgrade for someone that was so important to the plot of the show.

I think Charlie is partially Viv's self-insert. And Vaggie is her diversity-virtue girlfriend who will live for her and put up with anything while being the butt of jokes from Viv's favoirte homos.
I'm trying to like them as a couple, but one is literally "GROOOOOAN: the character" with the mere obligation of "protecting" Charlie when she herself is more than able to handle being on her own while the other is incredibly psychotic and illuded to her own commitment of redeeming sinners without knowing what could the possible adverse effects be of said redemption, even more when Heaven just feels like a glorified circlejerk hug box where everyone is way over their heads, love being an afterthought for them due to the whole hotel fixation which, by the way, feels frivolous as frick when Charlie alone was able to redeem Sir Pentious.
I would prefer GROOOOOAN atleast like the pilot, show Vaggie is kind of a non-character.

It's so shitty that Chaggie was basically a last-minute decision (compared to how long the ideas for the characters have been around), but now Viv is sticking with it despite most people being indifferent to Chaggie.
Imagine putting your bubbly protagonist in the most soulless and tacked-on romance ever, and now you have to stand by it or people will complain about you "erasing their representation."

That's why you only devote to a shipping if you entirely are into it. Creators who aren't keen on 1:1 self-inserts of themselves and would rather project themselves to a character they aspire to be are usually the best ones because they still wind up having aspects of them bleeding onto the character, usually the more positive traits.

The show wants us to think that Angels being vulnerable is basically only known by like 1% of the characters, regardless of being demon or angels.

Veggie has always been an irrelevant character who exists solely to be Charlie’s cynical pessimistic straight man friend to her antics, but she’s so outshined by Charlie, Alastor, and Angel she is a completely passive character without motivations other then being Charlie’s friend and reacting to things. Making her Charlie’s girlfriend just made things worse because now she genuinely has no other purpose or reason to exist as a character outside of Charlie
