If OP gets a Battle Tech series, I want a fricking Hero Quest tv show. None of this Barbie and Candyland bullshit.
I already cast the fricking thing too: >barbarian - henry cavill >dwarf - shia lebouf >elf - ben foster >wizard - florence pugh >witch king - jeff bridges
And it was woke ass garbage! A female babarian. No dwarves. And two different black characters. One of whom was gay. And a fricking bard (musician) leading the team. Keep you're PG schlock!
There's female barbarians but they stay home and cook & clean, watch over the youngins. Fembarians are actually quite docile and lovely to be around. And they always have huge boobs.
There are no male barbarians. Female barbarians use shotas (halflings) as living sex toys exclusively now.
I also thought Holga was one of the least offensive things about the movie. Michelle Rodriguez doesn't usually do offensively woke characters. She's pretty unpretentious and she was portrayed as a strong mother figure, a traditional gender role you don't often get in woke media.
>BattleTech
I don't care or know much about BattleTech but, you don't really want a show to be made in this climate or for it to even get popular. Let it fly under the radar otherwise you will get a bunch of people who have no actual intention of taking part in the hobby as it is twist it to fit their agenda and/or a show that is BattleTech in name only.
Last 10 years of Battletech: >Mechwarrior Online, a disaster >Battletech, a disaster >Mechwarrior 5, a disaster >Battletech modders are all insane bald Canadian troons
The Tetatae Did Nothing Wrong
I thought the BattleTech game did well
didn't play mechwarrior online, 5 looked like it didn't have a story and ported over graphics from online so I didn't play it
also you do know BattleTech is a tabletop wargame, right? there have been a lot of advances going on in it since 2014
Battletech unmodded runs ridiculously slow and only lets you run one lance of Mechs, lol, have fun running 4 assaults for the last half of the game.
Mechwarrior Online had a bunch of potential in beta but was turned into a sad boring whale milker.
There was some correlation between my eventual loss of virginity and discontinuing tabletop games but I can't imagine it got less poz since 2014.
>have fun running 4 assaults for the last half of the game.
How is that bad?
Proper BattleTech table top game is not intended for company+ engagements, that runs way too slowly, its 4-6 mechs
>How is that bad?
The designers didn't make interesting missions, they just tonnage dumped you.

Get the DLCs with the flashpoint mini-campaigns. They introduced a load of mission types where some had tonnage restrictions; definitely worth checking out on a sale.
Mechwarrior 5 is fun
The frick are you smoking?
Shit optimization tho, can't even run it on max settings but can run way more recent AAAs on my machine
>2024 >wanting something you enjoy be put through the homogenization meat grinder
You’re better off with your tabletop game and people leaving you alone
still blows my mind that BattleTech is as popular as it is. I play a lot of other tabletop games and I’ve never heard of anyone talk about it casually or seen anyone playing it at any of the stores I play at. But they all stock it so someone has to be buying it
>Battletech has been around 40 years, an eternity in tabletop wargame time >GIANT ROBOTS >very crunchy gameplay loved by loyal autists
>BattleTech

Is right tho, I don't want anything I enjoy or like getting "adapted" by commies, troons and israelites
It is, unironically, full of women and minorities.
It's one of the indicators that society is truly lost, that the majority of decisions and the direction of our popular culture is led by morons.
Battletech has years of inscrutable lore that could be plumbed for instant world building, heaps of paperback tier novels to pull character and plot ideas from but it has a couple of things that producers should be killing each other for: >It's full of nigs, b***hes, chinks and gays >It's full of giant robot war to trick men into watching nigs, b***hes, chinks and gays
It's tailor made for 2020's globohomosexual big budget slop, yet it will 100% never be made into a film franchise.
But the thing to do now is have the Star Wars Empire full of strong women and black guys to show how even the Nazis were diverse.
That's what they want, a free love milieu vs free love milieu (but doggo themed)
Not if it were the Clan Jade Falcon show where Clan Jade Falcon canonically wins everything instead of the furry homosexual Wolf jesuit buttboy author pets
Looking into BattleTech. Draconis Combine and Capellan Confederation: I'm guessing early BattleTech very much leaned into Yellow Peril when it came to those two, I'm assuming they - with everything being as it is - moved away from that.
yeah it was very stark in the 1980s with the Dracs and Cappies very much being the Bad Guys, the Federated Suns being the Good Guys, the Lyrans being ~~*Merchants*~~, and the FWL a basket case
it was in the 1990s they tempered the depiction of the major states
mecha/mechs are niche as frick to begin with, jap or western. the biggest robot franchise that made billions in the world can't even get a proper movie going. something about 90% of pilotable robots just scares or triggers the shit out of normies and nerds alike.
but there's homies in the things. most mech shit is basically top gun, focusing on the pilots and the personalities behind them. the robots are secondary but it still scares the shit out of homosexuals
battletech got bought out by twitter troon homosexuals, nobody wants a battletech show centered around gays having anal sex or coalburning womyn with a scifi background.
Yeah, it was one of those very very early shows that experimented with cgi, along with Captain Power. There was little confidence by the studios in it and it was expensive as frick so they mixed it with live-action/traditional animation to lower costs though it was pretty clear that most of the budget was dumped into that and not the other aspects, leading to lackluster writing and terrible artwork.
You know what's sad? The last good Battletech game was a fanmod for Crysis Wars that got permission from Microsoft to use the IP.
MW:LL was(is) so good despite being glitchy at times. Shit, they even got the voice actor that had the commentary from MW4's arenas to record a bunch of lines for their arena maps.
I would imagine the 'giant robots stomping around shooting and smashing things' genre is largely dominated by Transformers. It would be hard to get enough market share to justify the expense of a show, plus it would be totally dumbed down and aimed at kids since Hollywood can't imagine something like that appealing to adults. No political intrigue, murder, mass genocides, glassing planets with nukes and chemical weapons, ritual suicide or any of that.
After the Fallout Shit Show, why would you even want a fricking Show for your favorite IP at this point? It ALL TURNS TO SHIT the moment Hellywoods grubby little hands get a hold of it!

Lol can you imagine modern hollywood trying to tackle a heavy sci-fi world with things like fedualism, militarism, medieval European influences and autocracy? They'd butcher it completely.
Always wanted to see a pissed off Paul Moon yelling at that b***h ass subordinate that turned tail on Tukkayid. It’s from one of the books and I my be misremembering but my god the story arcs they could bring to life.
>William Shatner as Hanse Davion

they already did a D&D movie
And it was woke ass garbage! A female babarian. No dwarves. And two different black characters. One of whom was gay. And a fricking bard (musician) leading the team. Keep you're PG schlock!
I wanted a Hard R "Hero Quest"!
if there are no female barbarians then who are the male barbarians having sex with
There's female barbarians but they stay home and cook & clean, watch over the youngins. Fembarians are actually quite docile and lovely to be around. And they always have huge boobs.
tell us more about your masturbation fantasies
anything they want to frick of course
There are no male barbarians. Female barbarians use shotas (halflings) as living sex toys exclusively now.

They’ve done two D&D movies you fricking fetus
But what's the best thing about Hero Quest?
>Hero Quest
THE

SAOWD

The BTA3062 mod is amazing, just saying.
Why is the mech genre of games so bad? There's a million shooters of varying quality, but like 3 mech games that are garbage.
>Ib4 AC
I like AC, but it doesn't feel like a mech game.
Mechwarrior 5 is fun
The frick are you smoking?

Alpha Strike has cleaned that up
lots of women and minorities
>lots of women
like Natasha Kerensky
>and minorities
like the Draconis Combine and Capellan Confederation and characters like Minobu Tetsuhara?
I think it would be the 4th Succession War
>Draconis Combine and Capellan Confederation
>minorities
they're japanese and chinese factions you dumb frick how would that make them minorities
It is, unironically, full of women and minorities.

the horror
Hey Ironhawk 711 you suck at drawing but even if you didn’t you’d still be cringe as frick, loser.
you mad cause he styling
Warhammer had to go woke though

It is because most people identify with other people rather than objects like autists.
but there's homies in the things. most mech shit is basically top gun, focusing on the pilots and the personalities behind them. the robots are secondary but it still scares the shit out of homosexuals
Does BattleTech have a poster boy faction?
battletech got bought out by twitter troon homosexuals, nobody wants a battletech show centered around gays having anal sex or coalburning womyn with a scifi background.
it has been owned by wizards of the coast and licensed to topps since fasa shut down
why do you think so much about trans people and anal sex?
WoC is all about gays and trannies, his fear is justified.
Wasn't there a battle tech cartoon. I remember it being mixed with shitty CG.
Yes. It was terrible.
Yeah, it was one of those very very early shows that experimented with cgi, along with Captain Power. They'll find a way to frick it up
It'll be pacific rim part 3
what would they do?
After the Fallout Shit Show, why would you even want a fricking Show for your favorite IP at this point? It ALL TURNS TO SHIT the moment Hellywoods grubby little hands get a hold of it!
what's the difference between battletech and metaltech
I loved starsiege tribes
Less jetpacks and skiing in Battletech.
More focus on the robots.
It's called MechWarrior
BattleTech sounds gay n shit
Lol can you imagine modern hollywood trying to tackle a heavy sci-fi world with things like fedualism, militarism, medieval European influences and autocracy? They'd butcher it completely.
Good god this series would kill.
