Maybe they shoulda made a better show if they didn't want the studio to nuke it. They're refusing to acknowledge that the show was trash and is the reason why Disney nuked it.

They're like israelites telling you why things happened to them, but never telling you why those things happened.

Nobody is asking that. When Willow dropped it quickly got out the show was terrible and critics told their audiences not to watch it. Frick off with this revisionism that the show was a victim of poor marketing and a studio that never gave it a proper chance.

So why would you ask an actor who has zero power in what a studio does (especially a midge).
Seems like he's just mad he wont get his residuals because the show is no longer streaming and made up this fake story

Warwick Davis is not a real man! Allow me to explain. 6 years ago I was hired to do some carpentry work on the set of a movie being made in the backwoods of Georgia. My crew and I were tasked with building a house which would be burnt down at the end of the movie. The job seemed to be pretty straightforward until my buddy started pointing out weird things about the floor plans. Secret rooms, a hidden tunnel, peep holes in the walls, just a lot of weird stuff. We figured ok whatever they maybe needed these things for the story or something. So we go about building this house. Halfway through this black limo pulls up to the set and Warwick Davis pops out. He runs right up to me and starts screaming. "You idiot! You moron! These nails are iron they should not be iron!" And I remember he touched the nail and it seemed to burn him. Now that was really odd. He went around inspecting all the corners in the house. Specifically the corners. At this point I was legitimately spooked. It just didn't feel right. But the money was so good. My buddy and I stayed late trying to get the job done so we could get away from this place. It was at exactly midnight that we heard a howling sound coming from the woods right by the house.

I grabbed the glock from under my truck seat and when I turned around I saw him. Warwick Davis. Pale as a ghost with red glowing eyes. He opened his mouth and inhuman sound poured out. I fired off a couple rounds but they seemed to pass right through him. I yelled to my friend but he didn't respond. I had no choice but to leave him. I drove straight home, packed, and moved across country that night. I never heard from my friend again.

Sometimes I look at the news in the areas around that place. A couple small towns. There are always reports of missing children and pets.

The thing is though is that residuals are a percentage or a flat per view payment. It’s not like they get 1000 dollars a day every day its on streaming, it depends how much it is viewed. So if it’s viewed less Disney makes less money but also pays less residuals. So they didn’t remove this show because of residuals, because after all if they’re paying residuals they’re also theoretically making money. Why lose out on making 900 dollars to avoid paying 100 dollars in residuals? The reason why this show was removed is because it’s so unpopular and unprofitable that the costs to host and stream the show cost more than whatever it was bringing in. Plus I’m sure there was some licensing or rights agreement that was costing them money that they can avoid by completely axing the show.

Streaming doesn't pay out based on views. You get a flat amount based on total subscribers. This is deliberately done by streaming studios to avoid having to reveal streaming numbers.

Because of this setup, a show that gets 0-100 views still gets a flat residual fee. One of the WGA demands was to pay out residuals based on streaming numbers (while also keeping a percentage of subs residuals). The studios have agreed to this, but will only give streaming numbers to the WGA under strict NDA.

Basically, Willow was costing them money because of their own rules, so they said frick it we're not showing it.

          >The studios have agreed to this, but will only give streaming numbers to the WGA under strict NDA.
JFC they really don't want people seeing their viewing numbers.

Specifically they don't want their *shareholders* seeing those numbers.
Who would have thought ~~*Hollywood*~~ would have such unethical business practices?

Strong Independent Brown Woman Show #624 has lower viewership than decades old sitcom episodes pushing traditional Western values. Show me the real Rings of Power ratings and explain how this shit cost a billion dollars.

They pulled it WAG settlement. They pulled a lot of shows that weren’t bringing in the views

          >McCarthy also noted that a number of shows and movies would be removed entirely from both Disney+ and Hulu in order for Disney to write off asset losses in what’s known in accounting as an impairment charge. In other words, these shows and movies are worth more dead than alive as a tax benefit to Disney

I wonder if he actually watched the show himself. No doubt he watched the original Willow dozens of times by now. Warwick should have some good compare and contrast to work with. The new show he was part of was a pale imitation of the first and nobody liked it, even the target audience of homosexual zoomies. He should be asking himself why he signed on in the first place, after reading the script

These homies don't see to understand that if the show viewed so little that it needed to be pulled, then the number of people that would have bought a physical copy would be even lower.

Yes, Disney should produce these DVDs and Blu-Rays for the 50 total people that would buy a physical copy. The greatest minds on the Internet, everyone.
