No. Its hate attraction was a combination of the Nickelback effect (something mediocre being pushed and lauded as the greatest thing ever) and lebbit seething for a reason I haven't quite figured out yet (apparently "blackface for nerds", but they made the characters much more endearing than the average redditor, so.....) >dirlewanger
i liked the comic book aspect, and Penny was hot!. they acted too nerdy at times thoughI. I'm glad Sheldon remained straight despite the fact the actor himself is not.
>Bernadette
She sucks. Not only is she ugly but she personifies everything wrong with the show >Howard: H-hey Bernie m-me and the guys were th-thinking of going to the m-movies- >Bernadette: WHAT! You TOLD me you would cook dinner then watch Dancing with the Stars! >Howard: I know I j-just th-thought since the n-new Star Wars- >Bernadette: Ok, fine, go have fun >Howard: R-really? >Bernadette: Sure. I'll just call my friend JarDavious from the gym to watch it with me instead >[audience laughter]
Clearly haven't seen the show. Bernadette is a sweet innocent angel.
Then they turned her into a monstrous ballcutter, this is satire of how women turn from sweet angels into monstrous ballcutters once they get married
Actually it's probably because the show was, especially in its later seasons, probably written by c**ty women and gays as well as israelites, all three of whom like ballbusting women for various reasons
Or maybe it was only written by israelites and the strain of writing a woman who wasn't awful became too much for them, it being too foreign to their experience
I don't know

>social engineering dynamic
I really think it's just the natural result of letting TV shows be written by Ellis Islanders feminists and perverts, I think they're genuinely surprised when people don't find these characters relatable.
This is all true, however it was quite bad to start with, it took a while to get good enough to overcome its hokey premise
But this is basically true of all sitcoms, seinfeld doesn't get really good til season 3
the scene everyone makes fun of with the poorly coded nintendo 64 emulator makes perfect sense in the context of the episode. he was supposed to be playing on an actual N64 with his friends but they abandoned him for reasons i don't remember, which is why he settles for project64.
I might as well mention me old observation that BBT is an interesting illustration of the primary social cleavage within American israelitery, that between Central and Eastern European Ashkenazim. (Steve Sailer writes about this with regard to country clubs.) Howard Wolowitz - Polish name - is Ostjuden and extremely embarassing to his assimilated friend, Leonard Hofstadter (German name).
Even more sociologically interesting is that Leonard can never assimilate enough, and is himself embarassing to his Anglo friend Sheldon. You will object that it's Sheldon who embarasses Leonard, and this is true, but it's carefully established throughout the show that Sheldon knows his social graces but mostly chooses not to obey them. He is eccentric, but is nevertheless assimilated in a way that Leonard can never be. Sheldon never has to be reminded to make someone a cup of tea when they're upset, for instance.

BAZINGA!
It reminds me a bit of the halo 3 hype days because there are references to that in the earlier seasons so I kind of like it for that
Is young sheldon worth watching?
If you have to ask you're the target audience
if you're interested in the origin story of how sheldon got his catchphrase
anything with a laugh track is
bazooka
VLASENICA
BAZOOPER
The only good things to come out of this were bazooper and the surreal entertainment version of him
the scene everyone makes fun of with the poorly coded nintendo 64 emulator makes perfect sense in the context of the episode. he was supposed to be playing on an actual N64 with his friends but they abandoned him for reasons i don't remember, which is why he settles for project64.
