It's pretty darn obvious that his heavy wet-work people burned the guy's dick/genitals off very slowly and painfully, among other tortures I am sure (but they better move quickly because he's bleeding out when we leave him...). He doesn't need to specify exactly what the pliers and blowtorch will be used to do, the context makes the inference pretty simple. This strong black man has just been violated in what he regards as the absolute worst possible way, and he is in a position to take instant revenge. He does so. Not just that, they were both trying to kill each other before getting captured, he had ZERO incentive to help him out, it was a mark of true compassion and it earned him a big break.
Its a fascinating mini-story within the film really. One of the better psychological moments Tarantino ever did. My english teacher in high school, an old but wise and well spoken boomer, said it was one of the best films ever made.
It's simply unrealistic that a black gangster, even a fairly intelligent, experienced and powerful one, would be able to manage his emotions in such a situation. It's pure lurid trash entertainment, just like the title says. Comic book stuff to appeal to white nerds, having no relation to reality.
Equally unrealistic is the exchange between the bride and the Kim assassin in Kill Bill part 2. The bride manages to convince the other assassin that she's pregnant, and the two women agree to part ways and not carry out their assigned objectives because they have something like ABSTRACT MASCULINE HONOR, which is absurd, even for fictional female characters. Women don't operate that way. Women, especially serviceably attractive women (yes, I would include Uma in this set) obviously care the least about the life of a fetus. And one woman certainly earned a harsh punishment, while the other probably did as well.
Tarantino describes it at the end of the commentary track for Reservoir Dogs. Why does Mr. Orange tell the truth about himself right at the moment that he might be saved? Because of a masculine honor, which in Japanese is called "Jingi", in Japanese gangster/crime movies. An untranslatable idea which very roughly means that White and Orange have been through some shit together, and so they owe each other some honor, some honesty. This same idea is at work (purely for dramatic effect) in the Marsellus/Butch exchange, and in the Bride/Kim exchange. Thing is, this only really works, there is only philia, when the two people happen to be men of same/similar ethnicity. The idea breaks down and becomes clearly absurd when it is depicted as black-and-white, or women. The actors can play the fictional scene and that's fine, but we all know that it doesn't really go that way IRL.
