"I am tired of the Duck-Blur. I am tired of lasers. I am tired of people rewriting history. I just want a nice quiet world where there's not an near-miss-apocalypse every other week" is an admirable goal.

Technically, because he sabotaged Della's ship, but there would doubtless have been other nonsense if the family had started doing SPACE EXPLORATION on the regular.

End of the day he was a dude that just wanted the world to be quiet and predictable. His methods were pure bastardness, but OP asked if his goal was right or wrong. I wouldn't say it was RIGHT but "can I PLEASE have a planet that isn't constantly in danger?" is a pretty understandable goal.

I can agree with him that he is right that family as the greatest adventure is the stupidest thing he has heard. Since there was hardly any adventure in Nu-Ducktales. I'd say it was a huge drama parody and spit on the original sources, especially the comics.

This was the last based cartoon
The heroes are whites led by a self-made old white guy (alongside a few token Hispanics who act white like Fenton but only them) while the far more diverse FOWL group are the villains

Meh. Except for Bradford and Black Heron, everyone else acted like clowns or more like imitations of Marvel movie villains. And Nu-Ducktales turned out to be a big flop that showed a lot of disrespect for the comic book material. The last real white-led series was The Legend of the Three Caballeros led by Donald Duck.

          >>muh don rosa
Be mad! The Life and Times of Scrooge McDuck is ultimately a hundred times better than the lame Nu-Ducktales. You should read it. As soon as Woke Disney censors his comics, it shows how very creative this author is.

Lies and nonsense. Find me one proof that Don Rosa is a pedophile? He is not there, and he never was, but jealousy and stupidity came out of you because Don Rosa doesn't like Nu-Tales and because he says that Nu-Tales has nothing to do with his comics.

Besides, when you're accusing someone else of pedophilia, talk to the Nu-Tales crew first, primarily Frank Angones. This tweet speaks volumes for you.

        >Webbytales
I don't get this criticism. The finale focused on Webby sure but the season mostly focused Hewey (barely though since they had to ul all the loose ends) and the season before that was Lewey and the First on Dewey.

The original plan was 4 seasons with the 4th focusing on Webby

Bureaucratic buttholes who end up being revealed to be genuine villains is one of my favorite tropes.

Doesn't genuine mean like, unoriginal or just basic shit?

"I am tired of the Duck-Blur. I am tired of lasers. I am tired of people rewriting history. I just want a nice quiet world where there's not an near-miss-apocalypse every other week" is an admirable goal.

I mean he kinda had a point up until the writers fricked him up, honestly he could've been the anti-villain with a good point, just wanting a normal world with no fears.

It means authentic. And I meant in the sense that they seem to be strict and cold people who are just doing their jobs when opposing the heroes, only to be revealed to be truly evil villains. Even season 3 had the running joke of Bradford refusing to be referred to as a villain while doing increasingly more evil things.

To be fair the mcduck family is routinely directly/indirectly responsible for the near extinction of the universe for the sake of "adventures" with one of the worst ones threatening to destroy the time continuim. He was in the right

      Anonymous

That's less the McDuck Families fault and more that the law doesn't apply to anyone in this world. Glomgold and Mark Beaks both are guilty of harming others without retaliation and Magica literally attacked the entire city with thier own shadows and instead of being hunted down and arrested she was just allowed to roam free and get a job at funsos

      Anonymous

outside the time travel machine what other world ending threats did the Mcducks unleash? most the shit that happens is small scale at best.

The Moon Invasion and the Multiverse Machine are just as much F.O.W.Ls fault as it was the ducks

He wants all that nonsense to end, he just focused on Scrooge because Scrooge was the most public face of scifi/fantasy nonsense.
Remember his origin is that he was the unwilling dragged-along child sidekick of an Adventurer, and he fricking HATED all that shit that put him in peril. He grew up wanting to put an end to all of it and put the world under "sensible" control.

        Anonymous

It's not just that they unleash things, it's that he finds it offensive that a crazy old man and a bunch of kids are handling the various threats, small scale or otherwise.

He hears that every ten years this crazy old scotsman has been wrestling a serpent with the fate of the planet on the line, and THIS YEAR McDuck was unable to fight so a fricking 12 year old in a luchadore outfit decided whether the planet would get crushed or not.
Scrooge and the kids: "Frick yes, adventure!"
Bradford: "This shit needs to stop. If there's no way to avoid this nonsensical contest then at the very least we should be sending in trained experts, not damn kids."
