I'm tired of people dickriding this dude just because he died. He wasn't the god of comedy, and neither were Opie and Anthony and no this 4 minute clip from 2003 won't change anyone's mind
Patrice is fricking incredible on O&A and his takes on relationships, while I don't necessarily agree with all of them, are on point and more importantly he could actually argue why he was right.
That said, his actual comedy bits aren't as great as his radio appearances. Would had been fun to have Patrice do a proper podcast while he just ranted about hating b***hes and what films he's recently seen and rabbling autistic details from them
You could say that about most, if not all of the comedians that went on that show. Honestly Colin Quinn mightve been the only regular who had better prepared work than off the cuff, and even then that wasn't until he decided to be a funny history teacher instead of a comedian.
He had some based takes on women and relationships, but it's weird how his long term gf was someone who already had a kid. You'd think Patrice would be the last person to get into a "my wife's son" situation.
Some (successful) men don't really care about having kids enough to put up with the craziness and strong pimphand a hot 20-something-wife-to-be demands.
They need a low-to-mid-maintenance, sexy 7/10 woman who gives them a consistently great lay, doesn't bust their balls 24/7 and can hold a conversation at times.
...a LOT of these things are taught through age and mistakes so a 30-something single mom can easily be that, even if her status is low.
If you don't really care about having kids it really isn't a bad deal, granted you are happy and not getting cucked.
Patrice knew his shit and was content in the relationship and the homie was at the very most lukewarm about having kids.
did he "let" his wife frick other people or did i misunderstand
nah he would let her have a girlfriend though
yes he also raised her kid they weren't married though

His standup is not good though. He had numerous highlights on O&A but I tried watching some of his standup and it's legitimately pretty bad
oh cool please name some good standup
Anthony Jeselnik and Chris Rock to start. Dave Chapelles older stuff was good. Matt Rife mainly because of crowd work
>matt rife
Elephant in the Room is great but the rest of it is pretty medicore
Tough Crowd and O&A was where he was was great. He was a gatekeeper but hilarious at it.
>go to prison for gangrape
>become the anti woman comedian
Yeah being falsely accused will do that
He did gangbang a girl though, even he admits that. His only point is that at the time she wasn't complaining.
>Do gangbang
>Get blackmailed to suck another guys dick
>Falsely accused others of rape so you wont be called a prostitute
>BILL YOU DUMB CRACKER, SHE SUPPOSED TO HAVE A KID DARKER THAN SHE IS *BEFORE* YOU START FRICKING HER - NOT AFTER!
The convicted rapist?

Patrice would have absolutely killed it in the podcast game, that style of riffing was his dojo.
No
but he was the CEO of racism
>president

Patrice was completely black pilled on women, he actually did (rightly so after the rape accusation) hate them
A woman with a kid meant nothing because he already thought so little of them

>hated women
>hated chinese people
>loved films
>loved food

Nah, all talk.
His girlfriend was a super thot.
Colin Quinn called him out about it a couple of times like "I've seen you with your girlfriend you aren't like that"
Nah
