Yeah, it’s an episode meant to humble people with the mindset of “I should be recognized just by my mere existence and good works.” People forget how much of a little shit and life-ruiner Timmy is.
Only to autists who have a hyper-vigilance complex and require every bad action to be met with some kind of comeuppance.
Otherwise it's just a silly parody.
And that’s because kids and hyper autists self insert too much.
It's a good lesson, along with "don't overestimate your importance to others". But it's better not to take moral advice from what was just a parody of a 50+ year old movie
This is unrelated, but I hate how they made Timmy directly responsible for Crocker’s downfall. Sure they changed it in later seasons, but that just seems a bit unnecessary. In fact, this whole show seems to bend its morality for the sake of the status quo like with the end of Channel Chasers.
I’d never take moral advise from something that has to butcher itself for the sake of a status quo.
I never thought of it that way. Must be a kind of fate.
But I think in later seasons, it turns out that Crocker just got too old for fairies. It was in that instructional video with Adam West on Timmy’s Birthday.
And why would Timmy worry anyway if he kept everyone’s ages the same for 50 years? This is exactly why it’s a bad idea to have an episodic show run for so long.
Even if you want to play it up as this it was still shit. It wasnt something like Timmy doing it and then getting pissy over not getting money / getting just a little appreciation. For him the homosexuals chewed him out and completely shit on his efforts for the most trifling reasons. Lesson there should have been "dont help buttholes"
>For him the homosexuals chewed him out and completely shit on his efforts for the most trifling reasons
I don't remember that part of the episode. IIRC it was just Jorgen telling him everyone's life would've been better if he hadn't been born
It was at the very beginning. Sure they were buttholes, but Timmy only helped to feel appreciated instead of just doing whats right. Even if it defied logic, Timmy’s help fricked over others that didn’t need it. It’s like buying someone a car that’s inconvenient and high on taxes
Only to autists who have a hyper-vigilance complex and require every bad action to be met with some kind of comeuppance.

LSMark did that whole FOP ranking video a few months back, and even he feels that people overexaggerate how bad it actually is. He only placed it at #175 out of 289. If you're curious, he thought the actual worst episode of the show was Certifiable Super Sitter from Season 10 due to how blatantly it ignored the show's own fundamental rules.
Is LSMrak still relevant? I’m actually interested in discussing his cartoon because I’m bewildered with how bland it is.
They had one joke where the mouse was hanging off the locker that I found funny before the cat reacted to it. If he hadn’t, then it would’ve been funny because it implies wacky shit like that is the norm. Less is more.
At this point? He's one of those creators where you can't mention them without the drama they've become entwined in taking over, if only because his friend leaked it for some reason
It’s because the drama is more interesting than anything else he has going on. His works, takes, tastes, and even personal life are all pretty mundane. It’s like looking at the Mundane Matt of Cinemaphile
Mundane Mark. When are we going to see his wife’s son?
It wasn't the worst thing ever but the argument it made of "help people without expecting anything in return" is a shitty lesson.
It isn't tho because it changes your mindset into a healthier one

That’s what I wanted to say, thanks.

It was Cosmo's fault more than Timmy's tbh. It was pretty obvious he was going to frick up even without Timmy's intervention

Would've been better if it was "you shouldn't help people to get thanks or something in return" like Nietzsche would've wanted
Isn’t that what the episode is saying?
