The most unreasonable part of the show is the idea of a teen nice guy (Ron) who if he just hangs out with teen Kim Possible long enough that she will eventually fall in love with him.
That absolutely 99% of the time doesn't happen in real life. Most of the time these girls go for the bad boys or men on the sports team like football players.
You don't understand women. They're irrational so repeated exposure on its own cannot often make the difference, suddenly they like you.
Kim is consistently portrayed as an "almost" ideal mommy's good girl, though. It wouldn't be out of place for her to be with Ron.
If anything, it's probably *this* characterization of her that doesn't mesh very well with her vigilante shenanigans and a very driven personality in general. She'd be far more rebellious and (wannabe) independent from parents if she is supposed to have such an active life full of competency and bravery.
But it's an idealistic cartoon, after all. Going ultra realistic wouldn't be right.
Ron is a israeli dork but he does constantly save the world. Kim would go out on a date with Chad and get the ick when he is whining dad won’t let him buy a motorcycle or whatever. Ron gets shot at with death rays and shit daily. He gets a boost from that like military guys do.
