Well yeah L being a hardcore gamer and moralgay was definitely to Light and the story’s advantage, yes. THAT said without L’s autism they never would have sussed Light out in the first place.

Essentially if light didn’t sperg out and took a day off sometimes or did it whenever he would have been fine but his ego of wanting to be a god of a new world shaped by his own hands got in the way
