Chrissy would be fine if Tony wasn't a moron trying to squeeze water out of stone. He should've been a made enforcer and that's it. Chris is consistently the best gunman in the entire show, only scores headshots.
I think it was pretty obvious from the start that he couldn't handle the stress of being the guy calling the real shots. The asthma was just a manifestation of that stress.
Tony sent Patsy because he looks like he can afford a Mercedes compared to people like Paulie or Chrissy who look like mobsters. Patsy looks like a non-menacing math teacher or whatever white-collar worker.
