I've read the entire original Moon Knight run and it didn't have a black chick with big fluffy hair in it as the main character, it was about a israeli guy who was a former mercenary becoming a superhero
they might if they were fighting at the time, but since Konshu is a god of justice and Taweret chose an avatar specifically to go fight, its not surprising that only they have suits. Arthur will likely have a suit next season.
Liberals don't understand this is actually racist to depict Muslim women like this. That's basically neocolonialism.
I honestly think the only reason they made her a super hero was to steal the "firs female muslim superhero milestone" from Ms. Marvel.
You might not have noticed, but the show goes out of it's way to never ever mention or show Islam at all. She's explicitly not Muslim, her father worshiped the ancient Egyptian gods.
So what was up with the final hospital scene? Why are Marc and Steven dreaming they're in a mental asylum again? Was the blood Harrow was trailing a signal of his defeat, or was it from the broken glass he put in his shoes?
The scene is implying that Dr Harrow was merely their projection like the rest of the psyche ward, but did Marc/Steven even know about the glass in Arthur's shoes?
I assumed the psych ward was all in his head, and not actually Harrow's doing, but why were they suddenly back there for a minute? Is that where they go when the Jake Lockley persona takes over?
It's intentionally open to interpretation but the mental ward and Dr Harrow are a part of Marc/Steven's consciousness that believes everything supernatural in the show was a lie.Once Marc/Steven believed in themselves(and Moon Knight) the ward disappeared
That's something they've baited in the comics too - that Marc is just imaging these gods and it's another faucet of his insanity that makes him dress up and go fight crime.
It's obviously not the case here, with so many other people also encountering the gods.
A few logical bumps and a rushed finale, but frick it, I enjoyed it. Steven was a good "everyman", and the scenes going through Marc's memories were kino. And both her and Oscar are pretty hot.
I thought it was good for the most part until they brought about the third personality, which I know is there in the comics but it ruins the last two/three episodes where there's an internal struggle between the two personalities.
When they were in the asylum they found a room full of evil people killed by Marc. One of them is in a baseball uniform, and he (she?) also shows up on the boat to beat on Marc and Steve.
It's very specific, I'm wondering if it's a reference to something in the comics? Or did the costume director randomly decide to put a baseball uniform on someone?
When the supporting actress can destroy the main actor because he is a snowflake
Role asks for an actor with great physical shape and fighting skills WB and Disney choose the actor by name and not by what the role asks for, every time
dunno, pretty mediocre show
liked her character and outfit tho
The frick is this trash?
This shit looks like its made for 14 year old lesbian girls...
>looks like its made for 14 year old lesbian girls...
i wish, it'd be hot
my sister is a 14 year old lesbian and she does nothing but draw maude apatow peeing on her
Just like me.
I've read the entire original Moon Knight run and it didn't have a black chick with big fluffy hair in it as the main character, it was about a israeli guy who was a former mercenary becoming a superhero
and?
Well I don't want to watch this
that's completely fine. you don't have to
It's not bad actually, you could critically compare the two having read the comic unlike myself.
She's Marc Spector's wife but merged with that one egyptian marvel villain. I guess it's for POC points and so they can speedrun the plot to Egypt.
Oscars Isaacs is also brown
The show is not the comics
>black chick
She's very clearly not black
>looks at the camera and smirks
Frick off back to plebbit homosexual
this! wtf is with this kind of shots? the trailer to that star wars game also had a chick doing this.... why?
Hair bros... we fricking won.
i thought she was a hippo
She's a god, does moon light have wings or a beak? There's no correlation between God and avatar
Russia should've won the cold war
how do you get wings while being the avatar for a fricking hippo god?
Yeah why doesn't she have those saggy milkbags with exposed nipples.
maybe lended form one the other gods. after all moonknight is no bird either
already did, it's pretty kino
Your hair looks like mine
str8 bussin fr fr
she reminds me of the girl from dead alive
Oh Fernando!
Your mother ate my dog!
Mutt Knight
Already did and it was shit
Liberals don't understand this is actually racist to depict Muslim women like this. That's basically neocolonialism.
>girls can be Ghostbusters
I honestly think the only reason they made her a super hero was to steal the "firs female muslim superhero milestone" from Ms. Marvel.
And yet she refuses to keep her powers permanently.
this shit made me cringe so fricking hard
t egyptian
Too On the nose
Is she Arab or Coptic? Arabs are about as Egyptian as Basketball Americans
Palestinian.
But the husband is a israelite.
The actress is Palestinian, I don't know about Layla. I figured the character was just Egyptian?
She's very Caucasian and worships Egyptian gods, I would go with Coptic.
why don't other avatars have costumes.
because only the Moon god's avatar's duty fits into the 'hero' persona. Hippo girl just went with the trend.
There is also the theory that the Black Panther is/was an Avatar (the Panther god) so there. That's 3.
so is the panther an egyptian god or do more/all gods exist with avatars?
The Panther god is Bastet, who is an Egyptian god, and was named in the show and the BLM movie as source of the black panther's power/magic herb
realistically it wouldnt make sense wakanda location in mcu is near ethiopia theres no way egyptian culture reach there
>realistically
>comic books

Arthur Harrow is dead with the sexy-ass Croc lady though.
did i miss an episode, i thought steven/marc spared him because of choice
he was killed by the 3rd persona in the after créditos
Yeah you should really go watch the one post-credits scene. There was a lot of build-up throughout the show to that.
i did, it was ok i guess
is he crazy or what? is the hospital scene where he has the broken nose the true reality?
i don't think i will
It would have been comedy gold if the demon thing made her wear full mudshit garb and cover her fricking loose ankles
You might not have noticed, but the show goes out of it's way to never ever mention or show Islam at all. She's explicitly not Muslim, her father worshiped the ancient Egyptian gods.

OH NO NO NO HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHHA
wandavision is surprisingly low considering that it had so many paid shills on reddit promoting it
>Thought I was gonna get schizo kino with Moon Knight beating up homeless drunks in a back alley
>Get a fricking gay Uncharted knockoff instead
I don't remember Oscaar Isaac turning into Tom Holland.
tfw no curly egyptian gf
was watching it AND THEY JUST CUT THE ENTIRE LAST FIGHT FRICK THIS SHIT
cute girl tho
It's part of the build-up to the post credit TWEEST so I didn't mind that much.
No, this show was dumb just for her inclusion.
>shows up
>is more competent than the mc right away
>constantly saves the mc
>becomes a superhero
I want to bury my face in her curls while she farts on my dick and I paint her back white
Mc saved her a bunch too moron. At least 3 times from memory. 4 if you count Jake lockley killing everyone at the end. Pay attention moron
Eps. 1-5 = 5/10
Last ep= 8/10
Is this version of Jake Lockley a mexican?
Never heard of it
>based on the Marvel Comics featuring the character of the same name
Noooooope
NO
YES

Dunno. It might be to just to show Marc and Steven's resolved mental state.
It's intentionally open to interpretation but the mental ward and Dr Harrow are a part of Marc/Steven's consciousness that believes everything supernatural in the show was a lie.Once Marc/Steven believed in themselves(and Moon Knight) the ward disappeared

shit was garbage
A few logical bumps and a rushed finale, but frick it, I enjoyed it. Steven was a good "everyman", and the scenes going through Marc's memories were kino. And both her and Oscar are pretty hot.
No. Frick you.
Post the croc with breasts
I thought it was good for the most part until they brought about the third personality, which I know is there in the comics but it ruins the last two/three episodes where there's an internal struggle between the two personalities.
Other than not showing most of the fighting scenes, making the hero's victory meaningless, how does Jake ruin the show?
Is that the Gypsy from 1883 who fricked the homie?
>Avatar of a hippo has bird powers
how does it work?
i got a feeling they wanted to make it Isis at first but you know.

baseball bump
>waxed arms and waxed/shaved pits
No thanks.
how do you tell
