Is it adult in that it tackles mature subject matter that either isn't suitable or, or wouldn't be understood by, children? Or is it "adult" in that it's just a parade of swearing, sex jokes, and gore?
You're gonna have to try harder than that anon. Give us the scoop. Pill me on it. Shill
It's an adult show that's actually an adult show. It delves into technological concepts that would baffle a kid and is an extreme deep dive into certain topics of futurism that no other series has touched upon. The characters are great, the story is moving and beautiful, and it's short so it doesn't overstay its welcome.
it's adult in the sense that it tackles ides and questions that kids probably just wouldn't understand. There's some gore but it's played straight for horror rather than cheap shock value
>Is it adult in that it tackles mature subject matter that either isn't suitable or, or wouldn't be understood by, children?
At one point, the series shows a screenshot of the /x/ sticky verbatim as a father explains gently to his daughter about how sometimes people come up with conspiracies because they want there to be more for this world.
It can be a bit hokey at some points, but it takes itself pretty seriously.
>Is it adult in that it tackles mature subject matter that either isn't suitable or, or wouldn't be understood by, children?
even this metric doesnt work anymore sadly. people think tadc and watership down are for children because the art style is cute
Does it actually do anything with it's animation?
It looked like one of those things that might as well have been live action from trailers so I didn't really pay much attention to it.
Boku no Pico but seriously Pantheon was good but in no way "the best animated series ever" and tbh while I liked the way the sci-fi aspects were explored almost none of the characters clicked with me. I am still really happy for the guys that worked on it since they've managed to complete it against all odds. Are they active on any forum/social media?
I'm intrigued by the show's affectionate portrayal of anons in general and /x/philes in particular. Usually you can expect characters like that to end up portrayed as total nutcases.
Luckily for you, it stays good. There is only one episode in the whole series I don't care for, and even then it isn't a bad episode, I just don't care for the subplot.
I already watched it shortly after each season was released. It was quite entertaining.
never, they browse Cinemaphile
It looks like boring shit tho
Media for adults usually is.
>where are the heckin fat brown disney moms!?

So it's Futurama, but it takes itself seriously? Nice.
>So it's Futurama, but it takes itself seriously?
"Futurama that takes itself seriously" is just called "Scifi".
Cool, seems like it gives Final Space a run for its money.

If Pantheon is so good, why isn't there a third season?
You're gonna have to try harder than that anon. Give us the scoop. Pill me on it. Shill
justine is my homie
She a real one. Doesn't understand anything that's going on or even knows... Still there for the ride.
Do you think she uploaded?
or was she one of the few who refused?
She can be seen hangin around the other terrorists, dont have pics on hand but trust me bro
I just skimmed episode 9 of Season 2 and didn't see her anywhere.
now on second look only the hair seems to match, but damn on first watch i was 100% convinced
Funny thing but its second season being held hostage despite being finished was the best publicity it got.
I only found out about it because of that.
Did it conclude with a resolved ending? If so, I'd watch it.
Yes. It ended quite nicely and made me cry.
Good, because Inside Job's ending pissed me the frick off.
>anime
>paywalled behind another subscription service
Not my problem it failed.
Pantheon Series mega

I love you, anon

Cyberspace would be very hard for live CGI
>Cyberspace
Sounds like a Sonic thing.
How does one go about organizing a Cinemaphile watchalong of this show?
ReadyPlayerOne did it surprisingly well
>Does it actually do anything with it's animation?
animated characters are much more appealing than lumpy disgusting live action people.
>Does it actually do anything with it's animation?
Emphatically no.
It's shit. The show is meh for most of its run before just going loopy near the end.
>going loopy near the end.
Sounds like it's up my alley.
I miss Maddie Kim.
>Maddie is a happa
>her sister is a rice cooker
https://rule34.paheal.net/post/view/6314293#search=Pantheon_%28series%29
dropped early season 2.
I watched it, it tried way too hard to be smart and just made it off putting
Just watch anime
Name several anime as good as Pantheon
Pantheon isnt even better than american cartoons airing right now lol
Don't try to compare yourself to the big leagues when you're stuck in amateur hour
Say what? Pantheon's a Cinemaphilener show.
You have no idea how badly that comes off for both shows.

Why did nobody tell me this show has hot femboys?
Never thought Cinemaphile would get an animated series, yet here we are.

Plus, Caspian is quite hot.
>The future has DDOS attacks
I take it Clowdflare doesn't exist in the future?
*Cloudflare
>The future
Season 1 takes place in 2022
This would be far more successful if it was a Crunchyroll original instead of an AMC+ one.
post that one webm of maddie dancing
No.
>no one is concerned for the continuance problem except her mom and even then only for a little while
Aaaaaa it bothers me so much.
>adult animation
It's YA and feels it. I got bored and never finished.
This is a good watch so far, glad I got into it.
Luckily for you, it stays good. There is only one episode in the whole series I don't care for, and even then it isn't a bad episode, I just don't care for the subplot.
That's great, because I'm far too used to cartoons having rushed endings. (Or no endings at all.)
>mirslop
Oddly while I like good, serious science fiction, and I like kiddie stuff, I can't tolerate in-between stuff like this.
