Near Dark is pretty good.
Near Dark
Lost Boys
From Dusk Til Dawn
30 Days of Night
Fright Night remake with Colin Farrell as Jerry Dandridge was surprisingly good too
George Romero's Martin fits the bill.
Someone outbid the guy who has the 3 hour cut.
>"vampire" movie about a mouthbreather who wears plastic fangs and draws the blood of sleeping women with a syringe or something equally as braindead
>actually creepy/scary
This thread is proof that vampire fiction has been ruined and soiled by subhuman showbiz morons who want to present their own "revisionist" take on a genre that has never been done right straight, but this post proves that the audience matches the makers for lack of brain activity. WHOAH, WHAT IF VAMPIRES DIDN'T ACTUALLY HAVE FANGS BUT WERE AN EDGY BIKER GANG THAT DROVE AROUND IN RV'S? WHAT IF I POST A COMPLETELY UNRELATED GARBAGE ITALIAN ART MOVIE LIKE
BECAUSE I DON'T KNOW SHIT ABOUT HORROR? WHAT IF WE TOOK SALEM'S LOT AND CUT OUT ALL THE GOOD PARTS AND MADE DRACULA INTO A TROGLODYTIC ANIMAL? WHAT IF I VISITED VAMPIRE THREADS TO POST ABOUT "MY TWINK" OT? You people deserve what you get. Go ahead, watch Coppola's Dracula all the way through. Maybe applaud at the end. You've earned it.
This zombie movie under another name is sadly actually one of the few good entries in the genre, though that has nothing to do with the "vampires" you see in it.
Frick you, homosexual.
Nosferatu
Herzo's Nosferatu
Salem's Lot 1979
Salems Lot. The original from like the late 70s
slowest. movie. ever.
Currently reading the book. It's a lot better than the movie.
Is that the one with Sutherland? Or was that the remake?
Once Bitten is more of a comedy but you gotta watch that if you're doing 80s vampire kino
>Once Bitten
That's actally a great movie. And the main actress is really hot, but I don't think she did much after that. Wasn't it also Jim Carey's first movie?
He's obviously the Renfield "thrall" character, but it's never explained.
just weird he had green blood and could survive a headshot, guess it was from all the bugs?
Well that's going in the ol' watchlist.
op here. Awesome, thanks guys
definitely gonna check out a bunch mentioned here.
It's not vampires, but in the same vein check out Cemetery Man
awesome.
it's not gay but there is a lot of shit that reminds me of porn intros
>it's not gay
do closeted people still say this to cope?
Saw Cemetary Man drunk at a high school party years ago and I remember bits and pieces like a fever dream. I should actually watch it again sometime.
Lost Boys is the only vampire flick that can match Fright Night's gayness.
Yeah pretty much this. Watch a real man's vampire movie.
Terrible movie made watchable by James Woods' performance.
The opening was really fun but after that it's all downhill.
Best movie in the entire thread
this movie scared me shitless as a kid
pic related is a pretty good vampire found footage kino
The remake is unironically kino
ok wtf was he, a zombie?
He was Billy, Jerry's roommate
>roommate
It's vampire related.
So I'm obsessing over this gorgeous twink who played a character in a tv show called Angel, which is a spin off of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. I've never seen Buffy, so I'd have to watch the whole show just to get to watch Angel to see my twink. Is it worth it?
Have you heard of a little cult classic called Mad Men?
op here
big fan of both buffy and angel
buffy was a lot better than angel but thats not to say angel wasn't good.
if i remember correctly, pic related doesn't shopw up until season 3 of angel.
you don't actually have to watch all of buffy, just up to s3 and then switch to s1 of angel
Thanks anon
