Rodenberry was a really horny dude.

Kinda. I think women today, who want to be hot and willing to put in the effort are much hotter. Unfortunately, most people eat like shit, get tatted up and haven't seen the inside of a gym since high school. There's less and less people in between.

I don't disagree, I'm a boomer and I think instagram is the greatest thing ever. Nothing wrong with a woman that takes pride in her looks and takes the time and effort to make herself hot. But the problem today is that a woman like the one in the op, a natural beauty that uses makeup to enhance the natural beauty, would be covered in 10 layers of makeup and have a bunch of surgeries done. Like I said I don't have a problem with it, but the standard of beauty has been streamlined and instead of getting 10 women who know how to make themselves look uniquely hot, you get 10 woman all bogging their face in an attempt to achieve a uniform look.

Yeah that's a good point. Between surgery, excessive makeup and filters, you never really know what you're looking at online.

          >Roddenberry was a really horny dude
Oh so Kirk was his self insert then? I’ve never seen fans of ST state that but it seems obvious now.

Yeah he had tons of affairs. I believe he was even screwing chicks during his honeymoon in Japan.

How have you not? The picrel girl in the pilot and him were having an affair. For some reason the Desilu studio didn't like that and its why she never shows up again, but the Pike actor does.

??? That actress goes on to play Nurse Chapel, doesn't she? Also Roddenberry was having an affair with Nichols as well

They didn't want a woman XO, the actress got a recurring role as the ship's nurse after the failed pilot anyhow. I rate this as fake news.

Kirk being a womanizer is 100% a pop culture meme. Roddenberry's insert is Wesley Crusher in TNG.

It absolutely is not at this very moment i just watched him knock up a native american chick. Kirk is almost on sharpe levels of if a new chick shows up shes going to get jimmed

NO, majority of the women you see on the streets are hideous and fat. Only in large cities, you might see a more attractive women more often than usual.

Yes. 70s too. It was always the same pool of actors going from guest role to guest role on the TV circuit. You'll keep seeing the same faces over and over if you watch enough shows from that era. Hell, half the reason I watch CHiPs is just to see the gorgeous girls and 1970s California life.

That’s not even a Star Trek thing. It’s a “People like looking at attractive faces” thing. Granted, tv women didn’t get hit with the ugly stick as bad as video game women. But it’s obvious there’s been a decline in beauty on the small screen.

Yeah, on average women were way prettier than they are today, but they also used a different lens filter when shooting guest actresses on '60s Trek, which smoothed over most if not all possible blemishes.

It most certainly is true lmao.
A soft focus and literal Vaseline was used on the camera for close up shots of women in the '60s. It was basically grandpa's insta filter.

Vaseline is not a lens filter. You're changing your story after being corrected. lmao you're fricking stupid as hell

The original Star Trek series is the only one for me. Captain Kirk was a fricking chad and Shatner is from my city and he's like the coolest actor ever. Adventures and babes and cool stories, Star Trek was cool. All the other Star Trek stuff after was shit and i will never watch it. Picard fricking sucks and I could get past a few episodes even.as a wide eyed boy who was so excited there was going to be a new Star Trek show. I guess the original was enough and nothing after came close.
