What's the ideal era for Golden Age Superman, by the way? I read the first Omnibus's worth of stories and enjoyed it but was curious if there's a specific point in the 40's I should skip ahead to.

When Curt Swan took over Superman felt a bit less mischievous. I prefer the Wayne Boring style.
But a contemporary of Wayne Boring who I quite like is Al Plastino. His style is almost in between Wayne Boring and Curt Swan.
