Come on WB can’t be that desperate and stupid.

What makes you think it's for DC?

Why is it stupid? WB and Nolan had a lot of financial and critical success working together

        Shut Up Ezra miller hater.

This is WB. The company that let the entire DCEU debacle not only happen, but let it keep happening over and over and over again. Any sane producer would have pulled the plug on it after Justice League bombed.

Batman cross over movie or try to make Nolanverse apart of the DCU?

        >Any sane producer would have pulled the plug on it after Justice League bombed.

WW, Aquaman & Shazam were very well received. Aqua made a frickton of money.

        It's ending now because...

        > Letting Affleck quit instead of postponing his Batman movie until he was mentally/emotionally stable (Reeves directing him in the tone/style of the Pattinson movie would have been fricking incredible)

        > Letting that fricking moronic b***h Patty Jinnkies ruin the Wonder Woman brand with 84.

        > Letting radical feminist dyke trash ruin the Harley brand with BOP.

        > Not immediately pushing for a hopeful fun MOS2 after Joss's JL Superman was well received (outside of the face CGI), they got pitches from Steven Knight + the guy who saved X-Men with First Class + the guy whose last Mission Impossible was considered one of the greatest action movies ever made among others and WB turned then all down because they are fricking brain damaged.

        > Not canceling The Flash as soon as the choking video went online. Ezra was the most hated part of either cut of JL, they had zero reason on this earth to give him a movie before MOS2.

No reason to believe it's for capeshit. It'll be some empty, pretentious, cold ,and mechanical prestige awards bait.

But enough about Denis Villeneuve movies

Eh, I know he gets that wrap too, and it may be applicable to some, like Dune. But BR, Arrival, Sicario all have actual beating pulses and soul, something that nordic robot isn't programmed to provide. Plus I don't think the awards bait thing applies as he's happy to work in genre films, and doesn't try to make "important" ones.

    >HBO Max flap burns off alot of directors
    >WB burned Joss Whedon just so they could market the Snyder Cut
    >Amber Heard and Johnny Depp drama effectively killed Wizarding World films and the Aquaman sequel
    >Shazam sequel was so bad that Cavill jumped ship
    >Ezra Miller/Flash movie hits so much bad press that they hire James Gunn to be their own Kevin Feige

So many other things that go outside the scope of WB's films, but yes, WB seems to thrive on being desperate and out of marketable ideas.

My bad, replace Shazam with Black Adam.

Heard and Johnny Depp drama effectively killed the Aquaman sequel
        Yeah that's not what happened

Why did it get pushed back then? Wasn't it supposed to be out by now?

That isn't what happened either. Cavill didn't want out. He was let go

Literally everybody goes to the movie theaters. Especially since people are beginning to recognize that streaming is a bullshit service that's not worth paying for because everything they want to watch gets taken down for no reason.

Boy, I knew WB would backtrack and try to micromanage Gunn's new universe, but I thought they'd at least put out the first movie first.
