But enough about Denis Villeneuve movies
Eh, I know he gets that wrap too, and it may be applicable to some, like Dune. But BR, Arrival, Sicario all have actual beating pulses and soul, something that nordic robot isn't programmed to provide. Plus I don't think the awards bait thing applies as he's happy to work in genre films, and doesn't try to make "important" ones.

Literally everybody goes to the movie theaters. Especially since people are beginning to recognize that streaming is a bullshit service that's not worth paying for because everything they want to watch gets taken down for no reason.
