I have a feeling 'thing X but in the future' is gonna be the next big thing now that 'thing X but in the multiverse' has been done. Sony (or Disney, whoever has the rights) will do Spider-man 2099 now that normies know who it is, and WB will do Batman Beyond. It reminds me of in horror movies when every franchise does an outer space movie when they run out of ideas.

about Spider-Verse? Saw it. Meh. Sure, the character assassination stuff is problematic but like I referenced before I actually thought one of the bigger issues is introducing another different future / cyberpunk Spider like Spider-Byte as that just makes Miguel seem redundant and only stand out as "evil with fangs". I could see the character shining in his own project, especially with a fully fleshed out future city design and fun technology.
I am not supporting anything with Miller in it.

Just make make an animated movie like Spider-verse. Heck, hire their directors since they're done by next year.
