I guess the show doesn't really need to be too rooted in reality, but no one is sitting in a cubicle making cold-calls to sell paper anymore. Part of the appeal of the original show was that it felt like an organic representation of the ennui of working in a mediocre office job, but that kind of job doesn't really exist any more.

This type of writing killed the show. The Office is so rewatchable because they don't put a spotlight on the jokes, so you miss a lot if you don't pay attention.
A spinoff would be "another Dunder Miflin location" Odds are this one will still be in Scranton, have a bunch of the classic characters make cameos. And maybe some of those characters from the later seasons that no one remembers will be in charge.
The Office: Med School
Even though this is one of THE reddit shows, it has, especially in earlier seasons, lots of politically incorrect race stereotypes jokes and darker humour. There is no way they willrecrate this in the current year like that. It willbe another soulless cashgrab of an old successful franchise, where they lure in mainly old fans, only until these realize its shit and nothing like the og show and the whole thing will be dropped after like 2 seasons.
