>How does this work?
>It works like a community toy chest. In the /coc/ threads you are free to post whatever ideas/settings/characters you want, but you have to be OK with other people playing with them (tweaking them, putting them in stories, using them for things, etc.)
>There's no guarantee that what you post will catch on either.
>If the OC you are posting is YOURS for something you are personally doing, then it would go to the "How is your webcomic?" threads.
>If you just want feedback on an OC of yours, then it would go in the "donut steel" threads or drawthreads.
If the thread dies suddenly or you still want to discuss something when there's no thread:

The thread died kind of early and I honestly just don't have time to really keep them afloat now.
>I honestly just don't have time to really keep them afloat now.
Don't worry, just making the thread is more than enough. Thank you.
I usually just lurk, but I'll try to keep this thread alive. Ideally with something to contribute with, but we'll see.
I caught a cold last week and it was at it's worst when the thread died, my eyes literally couldn't stop watering. I'm all better now, thankfully.
But still, I'm still surprised that it just died like that, especially considering just how productive the one before was.
Wasn't that image used already?
Afternoon everyone. After who knows how long I've finally got around to getting the Costume Caution Comic drafted and already got it on its way to getting commissioned.
I hope everyone looks forward to the release.
I will also spend time this week converting the other old scripts into comic drafts to hopefully also be converted into properly commissioned comics.
It's gonna be a lot of work and money, but I hope to get a nice handful of these one page scripts done by the end of next year.
Assuming there are no...extreme hold-ups on the artist's part like there's been in the past.
Neat.
That's cool.
Yeah, I just didn't have a lot of new pics on hand to use when making the thread.
I see.
I was kinda surpised to see someone else post Arthur x Lila art since the pairing didn't really seem to catch on.
If I'm able, I'd like to dabble in some more original stuff like pic related here. Can't remember if I've ever posted this before, but here you go.. Some other ideas were thrown around a few months ago that I plan to use too. And as I hinted before, there are even some comics that were commissioned months ago that are still not finished yet.
Here's hoping 2024 will end up being a big year for actually getting these Golden Girl ideas out in a tangible form.
We can hope
Not quite sure what happening in this comic
Before I explain what it's supposed to be, try to explain what you think is happening.
Um her boobs are in defense and offense mode?
That's about right.
It's based on this prompt here.
>Silver Queen and Golden Girl are facing off against a Villain with a lot of henchmen. They're surrounded.
>SQ and GG are back to back, ready to do some serious battle! "Alright, Golden Girl," Silver Queen says to her ward, "just as I taught you."
>"Right, You can count on me!" Golden Girl replies with confidence.
>What proceeds is a montage of contrasting panels of Silver Queen curb stomping these dudes and Audrey bumble fricking into wins with her breasts. (Attacks bouncing off her boobs and getting redirected into another dude's face, a guy tripping over another guy and getting motorboated into unconsciousness, ect ect.)
>Silver Queen finally catches the main villain and gets ready to check on GG outta concern, only for GG's pile of downed goons to be bigger than her own.
>Silver Queen says something about being a better teacher than she realized and GG reluctantly smiles while rubbing her sore chest after all the abuse they just went through.
I like it especially the motorboat part.
There's actually a guy working on this but has made an update recently.
>has
"Hasn't" sorry, bad grammar.
The4thgrey was doing something, yeah. I think he got inspired by the original pencil draft I posted forever ago.
It's my fault for not hurrying up and getting these comics out.
Hopefully, he doesn't mind me bringing my second cake to the party.
Yeah it's probably cool. There's already a another story that got 2 illustrations too. So no worries.
>original pencil draft I posted forever ago.
Could I see it? I'm curious to know.
I have a question. Is there a way in the Cinemaphileverse to travel between dimensions? A natural phenomena, a device or something else?
I know that the Harpoonist gets to the evilverse fighting an elder god, but is that the only way?
There are cracks everywhere. Travel deep enough into the fae dream well and you'll find dreams from people in other dimensions.
Go to the Demon Post office and commission Hank for a custom portal.
Get kicked high enough up the chain and end up in The Archivist's library and you have all sorts of access.
>Dynamo League: A New Begining III
>After the speech, The hallowed halls of the Academy of Prodigy Protectors were now bathed in the gentle glow of evening. Willow, having bid farewell to Gwendolyn, the girl with colossal horns, found herself outside Mrs. Mavis's apartment. The echoes of the auditorium lingered, and Ronnie's probing questions played a haunting melody in Willow's thoughts.
>Willow (contemplating): What Ronnie said in the auditorium echoes in the recesses of my mind. The illustrious history of the Academy appears to be a tapestry woven with threads of both brilliance and shadows. Is it truly an evolving sanctuary for heroes, or does it bear the weight of its darker past?"
> Mrs. Mavis (cheerful): "So, Willow, how did you find Brave Watcher's speech? Quite inspiring, don't you think?"
> Willow (tentative): "Inspiring, yes, but also... intriguing. this Ronnie, the Dalmatian guy, asked some really tough questions. Made me wonder about the layers beneath the surface, you know?"
> Mrs. Mavis (dismissively): "Oh, people like this Ronnie guy have always been a bit of a skeptical. The Academy has transformed a lot over the years, and Brave Watcher is genuinely committed to fostering a positive and nurturing environment."
>Willow (still unsure): "I hope so. I just want to make sure I'm in the right place for the right reasons. I want to be a hero, but I want it to mean something."
>Mrs. Mavis (encouraging): "And you will be, Willow. You've got the heart of a hero. Focus on your training, immerse yourself in the opportunities here, and the rest will fall into place."
>Later that Night, As the night embraced the Academy, Willow lay on her bed, thoughts swirling like constellations in the vast cosmos. The realization struck that she hadn't called her dad. A call to Marmot-man went unanswered, the silence on the other end telling a tale of a father busy with his superhero duties.
>Willow was a little scared of this new experience and facing this new world but as soon as she saw the picture of Marmot-man on her phone she was determined to prove her dad and everyone wrong and show them that she could face her problems alone now.
>Willow (narrating on voicemail): "Hey, Dad. It's me, Willow. I have to tell you that I'm loving it here at the Academy. a guy in today's presentations named Ronnie started asking some questions....Ronnie's questions during Brave Watcher's speech got me thinking, though. I want to understand the history and be sure I'm on the right path. But, I want to prove to you that I can handle this. I love you and wish you, Liz, and the whole gang the very best. Goodnight."
>As the night embraced the Academy, Willow lay on her bed, thoughts swirling like constellations in the vast cosmos. The realization struck that she hadn't called her dad. A call to Marmot-man went unanswered, the silence on the other end telling a tale of a father busy with his superhero duties.
>>As the night embraced the Academy, Willow lay on her bed, thoughts swirling like constellations in the vast cosmos. The realization struck that she hadn't called her dad. A call to Marmot-man went unanswered, the silence on the other end telling a tale of a father busy with his superhero duties.
whoops i copied and pasted the same line two times
here's the last and correct one
>in the tranquility of the night, Willow's room became a sanctuary of contemplation. As she stared at the ceiling, the mysteries and challenges of the Academy unfurled before her like pages in an unexplored book. Each revelation held the promise of growth, and Willow was determined to script her own chapter, proving her mettle to her dad and to herself.
She's very eloquent.
i knew someone will point this up kek
basically wanted to write something nerdy for her cause in the original description i wrote that she's very nerdy (wanted to add "a bookworm" to her description ngl) so i went with my friend from work (he read a lot of novels and victorian literature) and ask him to write something "that looks too nerdy" and got this line kek
I call Cinemaphile Elliot and Cinemaphile I have no idea.
Alternate hairstyles, mostly used for more relaxed casual situations or whenever I want to change up their look
Probably looks better with different clothes
Do you think these look better, worse or just a good as the originals?
To me they are just as good as the original. As you said, they probably fit a more relaxed situation. If anything, I think the originals might be more iconic, but maybe it's my personal bias, having seen them for so long with the same hairstyle.
Morag looks more punk.
>Morag looks more punk.
you're right, to many hair spikes. Now it looks more relaxed
Also some body poportion fixes
this but with Marley.
Isn't she a bit too young for her baby bakery to be acting out like that?
Pretty sure she's the perfect age for it.
>Isn't she a bit too young for her baby bakery to be acting out like that?
She's in college and a late bloomer, so technically she is the perfect age for baby making.
Woman can have pregnancies at 12 years old
They can't at 30
No, she is not too young
>Woman can have pregnancies at 12 years old
You're way off. The youngest mother got pregnant at age 4.
Todays average college girl.
>HF delivers again!
She's perfect
>Happy Holidays
Jack is a goody two shoes, and his roommate is probably one of like ten people who celebrates Kwaanza, he'd never want to offend even the most sanctimonious of supers.
sad holidays to you anon!
Gotta sleep earlier today. Good night.
Good night y'all!
Anyone got any holiday related ideas they'd like to see before the new year?
Trying to think of what GG's perfect Christmas present would be
It's maybe iron girl getting lots of coal and thinking this is reward that shall keep her warm in cruel could winter, dah?
Or maybe wondering why she would be getting fuel for barbeque, that is typical American summer activity, not winter, dah?
>Trying to think of what GG's perfect Christmas present would be
A toolbox to work on her engineering and tinkering.
I can almost see the joke out of it now.
>Audrey gets a whole bunch of gifts from Sarah but they're all girly and kiddish gifts.
>Audrey is super thankful that she's even getting so much but knows she probably won't use any of this stuff at all, so her reaction is muted.
>Then Audrey looks behind the tree and sees an old toolbox and gets super excited about it.
>Sarah is shocked about Audrey being so happy about cleaning after the maintenance man/or Lucia who helped put up all the decorations.
What about the perfect bra?
Not invented yet.
Any superscientists magic users that might be able to invent sucha thing?
Thought there was some bra she got from aliens but it broke before she ever tried it on.
Sometimes kids like climbing taller people to hug them from the head. They'd have to go between her mountains to reach her right?
>Sometimes kids like climbing taller people to hug them from the head. They'd have to go between her mountains to reach her right?
She's 4'10". These would have to be, like, toddlers to find her that tall.
Pre-K, Kindergarteners, first graders ect. are really short though and are most impressionable and love superheros. Imagine dozens of them get super excited to see GG and tackle her.
You guys think GGs afraid of kids or nervous because they might be grabby?
They know milk when they see it.
Wouldn't children the most susceptible to the comic code camouflage?
Yeah.I don't think she'd think about it till it happened.
Like the kids can't see her breasts in the way, so they might go for a hug and find "Wow, she gives REALLY good hugs", or might find it a bit too comfy to sit in her lap.
But outright grabbing her wouldn't happen.
How would she feel afterwards? Just really nervous or just avoid all children especially physical contact or just accept there touchy offer?
Jack unknowingly about to step in a corridor where there’s multiple Cinemaphile girls waiting in ambush under the mistletoe after hearing how good of a kisser he is
Was it Anko? She'd want to go next but needs to fight off girls in her way.
That, or se's first in line, then after getting her kiss she turns around and see all the other girls grinning and about to get themselves some sugar
Finally, Aoko kissing Jack.
>Bugcycle
Seems easier to 3D model than a VW Beetle
Also Bugzilla should be the shortest of all the Kaijus.
I could imagine the Arthur panels should convey feelings of claustrophobia, like a vignette probably. Also lots of focus either with character posing or lettering.
How nice. But wait where's the mistletoe?
Probably was an illusion
Well still happy for them.
>all of the low shot angle and fish eye lense shots to convey that this is a literal nightmare scenario for Arthur even though it's just a cute girl teasing him slightly over not wanting to socialise
This is taking too long to make and I dont even line and color the final outputs properly. And I also have to draw lines of /coc/ girls as well.
That's just a cropped WIP to bump the thread during midnight.
Aww
Well done!
cute!
Percinnius teleporting presents to random kids Christmas trees on Christmas eve marked with "From Santa" to cement their belief in him, thereby creating more powerful and more abundant magical energy directed towards the figure that can be used for spells and manifestations
How about a Ladybug Christmas Carol? Should ladybug be Scrooge or is there another character that's more depressing or angry?
Silver queen worried about unidentified object detected by bigrack flying over platnium city
GG Looking on wide eyed in wonder at silhouettes of a sleigh and 8 reindeer
GG saves a toy maker in Christmas and the toy maker gives GG a life size puppet of herself (has no boobs though)but it freaks her out a little. Still accepts a gift anyway. Maybe a evil scientist steals the puppet and turns it to a robot. fights the robot GG, saves the day and the toy maker gives her a cute plush GG of herself instead for Christmas.
>toy maker
Let me guess it's Santa.
I like it.
Goodnight everyone.
How do you work on outfits for your OCs?
If you're asking about what's the main design philosophy while making one: it just has to be something that would *make sense* for them to wear, you know?
>Crackdown is a superhero "on a budget", which is why the only superheroic part of him is the mask (there's actually a bit more to that, since he'd later realise that wearing an outfit which doesn't distort his silhouette or contain conspicuous elements often works in his favor)
>in his civilian life, he wears very plain clothes because he just doesn't want to attract attention to himself
>he might own some geeky t-shirt with a print pertaining to his interests, but he'd sooner be caught dead than let anyone see him wearing one in public
No more like, where to look for references or fashion sense?
Ah.
Well, I just used Google Images.
It's always kinda simple tbh
I want to animate, and already inherently know that overly detailed is a pain in the butt for animation. I just figured out the first chapter for my game so I can make the necessary sceneries.
For me it usually comes down to their vibe and personality, combined with personal taste.
Is a character in a 50's noir mystery story with a middle aged frumpy man? Then give him several layers, slumped shoulders, and a workman's hat. Combine that with personal taste and you've got something good.
Percinnius was kind of weird. Inspiration sort of struck one moment and the next I had a doodle of a guy in a trench coat and a scribbled circle head. As I developed the character I took into consideration the kinds of stories he would be in and changed his design accordingly. I wanted to get rid of the scribble head and replaced it with a rhombus, which then turned into the portals. I wanted his coat to be black, but I had to color it with something, which then turned it from black to purple. I wanted him to be pretty schizo, so I had to make his design "incoherent" in a way that didn't actually affect its coherency, hence the inconsistent scale, collar type, and various sharp add-ons to the silhouette.
tl:dr "just be inspired"

>Arthur quickly paced the corridor of the University towards the exit
>despite how it might've seemed to an onlooker, he was in no real hurry and it was his merely his regular way of traversing just about any even remotely populated area
>in fact, he was relieved: his classes for the day were over
>now he could finally get home and go over the data again
>Mancera's men were on the move once more
>a lot of their activity as of late seemed way too agressive, even for their practices
>what was their *real* goal this time around?
>Arthur kept walking, all of his headspace preoccupied by this singular thought
>or was there also something else?
>Arthur shook his head, trying to physically force out the nesting distraction out of his mind
>he'll apologize tomorrow
>she'll understand
>less than 10 meters away from the door
>Arthur preemptively extended his hand, ready to…
>Lila: "Hey Arthur, wait up."
>young woman's voice froze him in his tracks
>Arthur: "Uh… H-hi Lila."
>looking over his shoulder, he saw that the blonde was standing behind him with her arms crossed
>Lila: "You seem like you're in a hurry."
>the way she spoke sounded unusual to Arthur
>there was a weird hint of dismissiveness to it, something entirely new to the way the two spoke most of the time
>it stabbed into Arthur's side like a knife
>no, he felt like he'd much rather got stabbed for real right now
>Arthur stood for a bit, motionless
>the sudden jolt broke him out of his paralysis
>there's plenty of time until nightfall
>he needs to apologize *now*
>Arthur: "Look Lila, I...."
>each word was basically pushed out of his esophagus with a great deal of effort
>Arthur: "I'm sorry that I couldn't hang out with you and your friends again. N-next time, I swear I---"
>Lilla: "Oh, it's ok. I'm pretty much used to it now."
>Arthur froze up again: so, she *isn't* mad? Then why--
>Lila: "In fact, it happened so many times at this point that it actually got me thinking…"
Lila, no, don't go down that rabbithole!
Sorry for making her utter such nasty words.
I thought it would be funny how Lila would probably use this word as a genuine form of endearment while being completely oblivious to it's "cringe" aspect and even heartwarming in a way, as it would mean that she sees Arthur as a person with vast potential who simply chooses to be alone out of his own volition rather than any real inadequacy
2/3
>Lila began slowly closing the distance between herself and Arthur, causing him to back away at just about the same rate
>Lila: "It's kind of curious how you always agree to this kind of stuff and then find a reason to not show up at the very last minute."
>Arthur attempted to swallow back the half-baked lump of excuses in his throat, but failed
>Lila: "Like there's always a new kind of emergency that you need to attend ASAP."
>Arthur's mind was racing, trying to come up with something... anything....
>nothing came up
>Lila: "It's almost as if you just don't want to be there for some reason."
>Arthur's hands and back touched the blazing cold concrete
>he was literally up against the wall
>Lila: "But I think I know the reason: it's because of who you *really* are."
>the thoughts of possible escape routes were quickly replaced by a myriad of curses directed towards himself
>why couldn't he at least pretend that he was normal for the sake of his alter ego?
>Lila: "I think..."
>why couldn't he actually start working on himself like he had promised?
>Lila: "...It is because you are..."
>why couldn't he just *be* normal?!
>Lila: "A Sigma! :D"

>the time stood still for what felt like several millennia
>Arthur's eyes widened, his posture relaxed
>he looked straight at Lila, seemingly unfazed by the fact that his heart was almost audibly hammering just a split second ago
>Arthur unstuck himself from the wall and Lila accordingly provided him some personal space by stepping back a bit
>Arthur: "..."
>Arthur: "I'm a *what*."
>Lila: "Y'know, a Sigma male! Honestly, I don't really like this kind of terminology since such terms are rooted in gross oversimplification of human in-group dynamics, but you fit the bill pretty well!"
>Arthur stood still once again, but for the completely opposite reason this time
>Lila: "I understand that you'd probably be bored senseless with so many people around, but you could've just told me so! Sometimes trying to be 'polite' is actually--"
>not even the very merited concern that a full-on turf war can break out in the middle of the city could hope to worm its way inside of Arthur's headspace at the moment
>Lila: "--o yeah! See ya around, ok?"
>Lila turned the opposite way and started walking back to the main hall
>Lila: "But, you know..."
>she glanced over at Arthur with a warm, yet mischievous smile
>Lila: "You should still consider hanging out with us mortals once in a while. We don't bite~"
>and with that, Lila disappeared into the crowd of people while some apparent acquaintances approached her to start a conversation
>Arthur: "..."
>Arthur: "Yeah. Sure. Let's go with that."

>"Briana, how come your face has so much more detail than mine?"
>"It's the eyebrows, little sister."
You really like that picture, huh?
I can see why.
Peridot poster killed Stargaze thread again. Screw that guy.
Thank you for pointing that out. If the thread archived due to spam, I'll make a new thread in a couple of hours when I'll get back to my home.
So, then... we came here to the /coc/ threads again. Can I do something for you guys? I somehow made a little chart for the Dynamo League last time, I don't know if it was useful.
>I somehow made a little chart for the Dynamo League
>-The Dynamo League greentexts continue
i keep seeing this Dynamo League every week in these threads
what the hell is that? what's the story/plot about?
Ok, you'll be my test subject. Are things more clear if you look at this picture?
Ah, I see. So it's a team of super heroes called the Dyanmo League, and the other superhero team—are they their rivals or something?
weird concept, but it seems interesting, I guess?
Are you the OP of those greentexts?
>Are you the OP of those greentexts?
No, I just made the chart. As a favor...
>the other superhero team—are they their rivals or something?
And that's what not having a bad guys section does.
No, they are the good guys (at least until the next plot twist I guess). I didn't get to include the villains.
Need more Christmas art.
Need more Christmas ideas for Christmas art
Yeah true too.
Something stole the magic from Santa, ad it's up to heroes to help him save Christmas!
JackHammer (dressed as an elf or Santa himself) using his powers negates the weight of all the thousands of gifts and Santa's sleigh, while Ladybug pulls the sleigh with her rocket suit! Dressed as a cute reindeer of course!
Other heroes could help too! Like Cinemaphilenrad doing extremely quick detective work to double check on who's been naughty or nice (and stole Santa's magic). Rage Racer could take care of quickly delivering coal to naughty children. Crotch rocket could pull the sleigh with Ladybug.
why cant I post imgs in incognito all of the sudden?
>"Finally a worthy opponent! I haven't had such an amazing battle and felt so alive since my early military days. You have given me the high i've been looking for decades where the rest of these current day weak pathetic slobs have failed. So enjoy you're little victory for now my dear pal, you better not dissapoint me cause the fun and war has only just begun..."
New villain? He's cool.
Nothing is cooler then an old war veteran who still got it and not ready for retirement looking to recapture his glory days
He may lost some body parts but never a single war in his 80 year career
Looks like it could be one of Chaptors villains or comrades.
Villain is he sees you as an threat
Comrade for as long as you have a bottle of whiskey hanging around, the comrades he really cared for are all dead
I can see how the turkey would give that impression.
Grinch co story ideas maybe?
Finally finished up the November patreon delivery, mid-december, but not without good reason! We decided to do it storybook style, so multiple pages, and that took more time than expected So here ya go, a mini-storytime of the mini-adaptation of the old Hummingbird Girl script.
And that's the secret origin of Emily Lang, AKA Hummingbird! Hope you enjoyed. Theres two page variants on the patreon, Page 7 is just this page minus the comic panel at the bottom.
Vote for december will go up soon.
That's really nice.
I remember reading the story version of it.
Goodnight everyone.
I'm glad you enjoyed it.
I can't help but get Bondage Fairies vibes.
This makes her look less cute.
>I can't help but get Bondage Fairies vibes.
Now there's a throwback.
Not for me.
Everyone's got there own taste I guess.
It's THEIR. THEIR own taste. It's THEIR. How is it SO HARD. Holy shit I should fricking KILL you motherfrickers. Oh my GOD
Hmm, small misspelled so what. Are trying to get attention?
Oops, sorry I usually correct myself sometimes but I was in a hurry to bump the thread.
Hehe, chill it's Cinemaphile. seen way worse grammar.
I also sometimes make some asinine mistakes that I only notice after hitting "post", it usually happens just as I'm about to go to bed or shortly after waking up.
Unfortunately, these are pretty much the only times when I even get to post nowadays.
That's what this whole interaction's about, anon. Stealth bumps. Stealth bumps all night.
Yep and for years.
The years keep coming
>Don't go to the forest alone
>I'm not alone if someone's there
Reminds me of being a smart ass with my parents.
Good art, but all of the
>And the (...) and the (...) and the (...) and the (...)
Is super dry and boring to read. Is it on purpose? In the sense that that's how a little kid would describe their adventures, like what she's doing in the last panel. If so, then good job.
It's supposed to read like a children's book, with deliberately simplified language, yeah. Part of the minicomics is meant to explore different styles.
Would "bullshit" be in Shark Lass' vocabulary? So far my I think as much as she's chaotic she wouldn't be too foul-mouthed.
Eh, "Bullsharks?"
Was there ever a canon reason given as to why Ladybug was relegated to West Coast instead of JC proper?
West Coast was a hold over from the Ladybug, Poison Dart, Midnight Vanguard team I thought.
Thoughts on this bump? Give me some feedback
Whatever happened to Cinemaphiledie?
Died on the way to her home planet.
Seeing as how comic book stores are closing in droves apparently, she's probably homeless.
She’d probably sell mangas instead and apparently look happy at the state of Cinemaphile, but deep inside it depresses her
She's lurking
Funny I was thinking about her yesterday hasn't seen anything new of her since last year.
At least she was on people's minds before the year was over.
I like her. I just don't really know what to draw with her.
She at a co/ convention taking pictures with cosplayers. Her right side be a Lovely Ladybug girl with blonde hair and on the left side there's a GG girl with black raven hair with natural large breasts. Both smiling except Cinemaphiledie look bored or annoyed.
draw here lamenting that /coc/ doesn't get anything new except golden girl.
>"ugh why do these plebs only want giant breasts"
she said over her giant breasts
Gotta recalibrate the entire scale. The monsters make her mid.
Something with her saying Cinemaphile never makes anything, just so the next person who makes a thread like that gets a big tiddy goth girl saying this
Which will definitely defuse the situation and gather interest in Cinemaphiledie
Has there ever been any attempt at Cinemaphilesmological prehistory?
Like anything about Cinemaphileverse's origin or a time when it was very young?
I'm not exactly a veteran of these threads, but:
>a time when it was very young
There are the Cinemaphilesmic ones. And reading the wiki there are many characters that are likely primordial entities. Like the Skull King, Belvraik, the Archivist, the 12 demon kings.
Or are you asking about the genesis of the universe?
>or are you asking about the genesis of the universe?
Something like that, yes.
You know, every so often, I remember Stella and her main supporting cast. And I miss her.
Even outside of SU I think she’s just a fun character
I’ve never really been in those threads all that much, but I really love Iron’s design, it’s top tier.
He's literally just an Iron Giant reference, but I agree.
...god I can't wait until Multiversus is back.
My favorite characters aside from Stella herself are probably Iron, GOLD, Al Mine, and Carol.
Part of me also wishes we had fleshed out more human characters who kind of act as counterparts/deconstructions of specific SU characters. Like Nia who had a cafe parallel to Steven’s friendship with the restaurant owners, but with the twist that Stella actually works there for a little.
Or Craig who parallels Ronaldo, except he accepts the metals existence and uses them to justify his belief that all other conspiracies are true, though unlike Ronaldo’s anime fanboy vibe, Craig is more of a doomsday/zombie prepper
OOOUUUUUUOOOOHHHHH!!!! IM- IM GONNA BUUUUUUUMP
Active board, huh
Yep indeed.
From Rad's Twitter
Thicc bug.
Butt, would she fit down a chimney?
I made this villain for an M&M campaign I’m running called “The Neapolitan Man” whose goofiness belies the fact that he’s actually a legitimate threat. Befitting his name, his body is divided into 3 flavors. His left side is chocolate, and he can shoot a brown beam that melts objects without heating them up. His right side is strawberry, which shoots a pink freeze ray. His middle is vanilla, and his eyes shoot a power nullification beam. I’ve also considered giving him the run-of-the-mill flight and super strength too.
Is there anything else I can add to him? I’m open to suggestions for changing the powers up, or ideas for backstory, personality, etc. One of the other ideas I had is that he’s so obnoxious that other villains hate working with him despite how powerful he is.
Maybe he had something similar to Element Girl happen to him
Very Silver Age, I like it.
Reminds me I had an idea for a Golden Guardian pic that repurposes an old meme that might only work with BB
>How did you get so ripped?
>Every time someone asks me if my back hurts, I do *one* push up.
>Jesus Christ.
The problem with my comic is that I keep getting incrementally better and better, and I'm compelled to redo stuff.
I thought about this comment for some time, but I'm still not getting it. I guess I need to see the comic. I get that her breasts add extra weight, but why does she need to do a pushup to relieve back pain?
She honestly looks pretty good with breasts. It must be the suit.
>but why does she need to do a pushup to relieve back pain?
It's a meme.
https://knowyourmeme.com/memes/i-do-one-push-up
>but why does she need to do a pushup to relieve back pain?
The joke is that she's super giga strong, because people ask her that question constantly. It has nothing to do with the back pain
>She honestly looks pretty good with breasts. It must be the suit.
I'll let you be the judge.
Big boobs don't look good on small characters.
There, I said it.
Yet in reality there are really small women with big breasts. They do exist.
At some point you just need to call a page as being done then.
>The problem with my comic is that I keep getting incrementally better and better, and I'm compelled to redo stuff.
I feel good that I've managed to avoid this trap. The first pages of my comic are kind of bad looking and the first one isn't even the right size but I've avoided going back and fixing it because my efforts are better spent on finishing it rather than perfecting it.
I honestly think you did good enough on the first try of the comic, like it was really good. It's not like anyone's paying you for the comic anyways so there's no need to push yourself so hard. The best progression I think is to get better after first comic. That way in the second one it'll look more advanced. But that's really up to you I really like your style.
Yo, give me a Ben 10 alien on your choice. I wanna draw oc variations of them I did Wildmutt today
So that WAS a Ben 10 guy. Glad I could spot that.
Do a Pesky Dust.

Good critter, thanks anon.
Swampfire was definitely my favorite of the nugen aliens, and this is a sick take on him.
What about a Golden Girl version of Waybig?
Refs!
What AU? If you about characters, then none of them are part of some AU related to other Bens
We already got a Galax GG though.
oh hey aren't you that ben 10 artist who made that eon character last time? You one of us with your AU oc idea?
Diamondhead btw
Deliveries!
Swampfire
There's actually full art of him and ghostfreak!
feeling sleepy. I burned out quite fast. There's this last doodle of my character and his version from the past. Quite a change, eh?
I don't know if this is the best place to post this as I'm not super familiar with Cinemaphile. I want to get better at drawing comics but I keep getting so attached to my ideas that it just becomes bigger than it should be. I have close to zero experience in writing comics or writing in general. Recently I thought of a comic of which I let people decide what happens and make choices for the character. Something I'm not attached to and have no control over the story to some extent. Is this a dumbass idea?
It's not a bad idea but you'd need to grow an audience to make choices for you in the first place.
The best advice I can give you is to just start drawing something small. 10 pages, a tiny arc of something interesting happening with some of your characters. Once you figure out how to actually make a comic, then you can start figuring out how to host it and get audience involvement
I thought about that and I'm not sure how active people would be on Cinemaphile but thought it wouldn't hurt to try on here even if it was just a couple random people.
Who would be brave enough to face off General Von Talon?
Probably one of the super hero leagues, trying to stop him from enacting his plans for world domination (he wants to turn everybody into chickens)
He wants a good worthy fight more than anything. The war and action is what he lives for and what gives him life and how he wants to go out. Victory is completely empty and meaningless for him if he wins without any real fight. So give him what he wants
It takes a general to beat a general!
Pretty rad.
What they thinking?
Possibly a new suit like Spider-man?
Marley's thinking about Shocker; the villains from kamen rider
Lila's thinking about the sex move of the same name
I thought that maneuver was called "Two in the Pink, one in the Stink"
I always figured that was the description.
To be fair, when most people think of "Shocker; the dude" they think of the Spider-Man villain, not Kamen Rider

What would you like to see from /coc/ projects in terms of genre variety or do you think that it's good enough as is?
I gotta draw some massive bugs this weekend...
I'm always for some big bug bags.

She just wants to axe anon a question.
Save her queen mode.
What happens once all threats are eliminated
What kind of comic books does [your character of choice] read? Who's their favorite super hero?
Depends, fun fact btw a very young Robert John Downey Jr. Made fun of a classmate reading Ironman comics. Now he's done as Ironman so far for the MCU. Funny how life works.
Think I've heard of that once.
Arthur never got into comic books since he became a joyless husk of a child around the time when most boys start reading them.
But he does like Baki, if manga counts.
Was hoping to get another full color drawing done in time to post tonight but I've been going for over 2 hours and I'm not even halfway finished. Progress with the comic is still slow but getting there. My art has advanced much since the first page, which means it's much better looking, but it's also much more time consuming to put together. Water is also wet.
Blogpost: finished

This thread feels like it's been up for longer than a week for some reason.
Maybe that's just me, I dunno.
It's Saturday bro. Plus I guess it's just because last week's thread was really short so people made this one longer this week.
More like Sadurday lmao haha
Ha...
You ok?
Not really, but it's fine.
Get well soon anyway.

I saw this in another thread and thought I should post it here, so you think a Hypnotist Based Hero could work? I think it’s possible but the only idea I got for them to use their powers in a good natured way is to hypnotize other people to gain the strength they need to fend off their would be attackers, like empowering a victim of a mugger to take down their mugger themself.
Lasso of truth basically
Use hypnosis for getting info and then act on the information with standard vigilante tactics, rather than forcing victims to do anything for you
Just say you want lesbian hypo fanart.
It's been tried before.
If he wanted that he could just use Colette!
Change last panel so It has Colette licking the pussy of Ladybug, Ladybug telling her to suck her clit harder since she's about to cum, and Colette doing so while still saying "obey... obey...".
No.
But Ladybug isn't gay. Maybe the hypnosis worked better on her than she thought
>But Ladybug isn't gay.
Everyone is gay for Colette.
Why would she go for Colette though? I’m pretty sure romance is based on more than pure sexual attraction
>Why would she go for Colette though?
either because she admires that she is a more established/successful heroine, or she is envious of her more mature body.
Or because the opportunity to have a hypnotized thrall doesn't come around that often.
That's hot.
Honestly I was just thinking the Ringmaster but a good guy. Basically a superhero Tony Robbins.
It's not really a surprise that hypnotism is a fetish, anon. But half the creations on the weekly Cinemaphile is created from fetishes. I'm not even sure weekly Cinemaphile can be kept alive without fetish posting anymore.
It's pretty scary to think how a single goofy cartoon snake managed to ruin a sizeable chunk of the generation back in the day.
Lola might have a bigger tally overall, but at least she didn't manage to wake anything as creepily specific in children as this guy.
I’m not surprised and know hypnotism is a fetish anon, guess I was just being naive.
The main character of a thing I’m writing is kind of like this.
She never forces anything and only really uses it for numbing pain, sleeping, and getting information, and follows a strict code.
The main conflict is actually that she doesn’t want to be a hero, and her trying to hide her power from heroes while also trying to stop her nemesis who’s a hedonistic murderer with the same powers who’s trying to make her break her code and indulge in the same lifestyle as him because
>“mind controllers are born with the divine right to rule. We are the rightful kings of humanity, chosen by nature itself”
Bump
Dude, it's 11 PM on Saturday. You don't need to bump it at this point.
Oh wait you're right, I forgot today was Saturday
Almost 10:30 for me.
Recently teamed up with awesome colorist, now I feel like Lustless can be taken seriously. Also here is a horse/unicorn im drawing for next page
Taken seriously. That is a fancy horse those.
I feel I'm being set up.
Well you guys may as well just keep using this thread. I've been kept so busy in purgatory that I haven't even had much time to read this one.
there is no setup my friend, the color just adds a lot. Here is the previous page.
Don't worry anon, somebody else can and/ or will make the thread

Excuse me
Why?
INT. PRIVATE DETECTIVE'S OFFICE - NIGHT
Dimly lit, smoke-filled room. DETECTIVE CONRAD, a classic noir detective in a worn-out blue trench coat, sits at his cluttered desk, surrounded by empty coffee cups and crumpled papers.
CONRAD
(voiceover, deadpan)
They say life's a mystery, but mine's more of a puzzle missing a few pieces. Like, who keeps stealing my stapler?
A CLIENT, a mysterious woman in a veiled hat, enters the office.
CLIENT
Mr. Conrad, I need your help. My husband has gone missing.
CONRAD
Missing husband, eh? Happens more often than a cat knocking over a trash can.
*He scribbles something on a notepad, then grins.*
CONRAD
Alright, doll. I'll find your hubby. What's his name?
CLIENT
Frank Grossman.
*CONRAD raises an eyebrow.*
CONRAD
Frank Grossman? Sounds like a guy who owes money to the wrong people.
CLIENT
(smiling)
He does, actually.
*CONRAD scratches his head.*
CONRAD
(chuckling)
Well, that narrows it down. Any enemies he might've made?
CLIENT
None that I know of.
*CONRAD looks at her skeptically.*
CONRAD
You sure? Even I've got enemies, and half the time, I don't remember why.
CLIENT
(smiling)
He's a businessman. Deals in questionable imports.
*CONRAD looks at her as if she just gave away the plot of a mystery novel.*
CONRAD
Imports, huh? Like rare cheese and cheap cologne?
*CLIENT nods.*
CONRAD
Alright, sweetheart. I'll find your husband and unravel the mystery of the shady imports. But first, tell me: where do you buy a hat like that?
*CLIENT gives him a puzzled look.*
CONRAD
Never mind. I'll figure it out. Just like everything else.
INT. BAR - NIGHT
CONRAD chats with his INFORMANT at the bar.
INFORMANT
I heard your guy hangs out at the bowling alley.
CONRAD
Bowling, huh? Maybe he's rolling away from his problems.
INT. BOWLING ALLEY - NIGHT
CONRAD enters the noisy bowling alley, strutting in like he owns the place. He spots the missing husband, FRANK, struggling with a heavy bowling ball.
CONRAD
(smirking)
Looks like you've got some spare time, Frank.
FRANK
(confused)
Do I know you?
CONRAD
Just your friendly neighborhood detective. Your wife's worried about you.
FRANK
(squinting)
Wife? I'm not married.
CONRAD
(rubbing his chin)
Well, this is awkward.
INT. PRIVATE DETECTIVE'S OFFICE - DAY
CONRAD and the CLIENT sit in his office.
CLIENT
(angry)
You found the wrong person!
CONRAD
(smiling)
Did I? Life's full of surprises, sweetheart. Turns out your husband's been leading a double life. He's got a whole other family.
CLIENT
(shocked)
What?
CONRAD
(leaning back)
Yeah, he's got a dog, two goldfish, and a plant named Phil. Quite the player.
The CLIENT storms out, leaving CONRAD scratching his head.
CONRAD
(to himself)
Guess I should've asked for a photo.
FADE OUT. END.
Funny, and very easy to read. Exceptional formatting
Is Cinemaphilenrad supposed to be this inept "canonically"?
On a related note, is there a Cinemaphileverse character who can be considered as the "world's best detective" like Chimp is in DC?
You guys could've picked any night to keep the thread bumped with actual discussion and you chose to do it now.
What’s bad about now
so i was going to wait for the new thread to post this but frick it i will post it here
trying to make good for the Dynamo League so here's the first attempt:

And everyone will just have to keep using this one because I'll be too busy to make a new one today it seems anyhow.
Wow. this thread is ancient!
One time when perispam would actually be welcome and jannies actually cut it short for once...
