>How does this work?
>It works like a community toy chest. In the /coc/ threads you are free to post whatever ideas/settings/characters you want, but you have to be OK with other people playing with them (tweaking them, putting them in stories, using them for things, etc.)
>There's no guarantee that what you post will catch on either.
>If the OC you are posting is YOURS for something you are personally doing, then it would go to the "How is your webcomic?" threads.
>If you just want feedback on an OC of yours, then it would go in the "donut steel" threads or drawthreads.

-The Dynamo League greentexts continue
Thread died immediately because no one could watch it during Christmas.
Dang what I miss?
Just the beginning of the Dynamo League Christmas story.
The ones I have left, yeah.
>The ones I have left, yeah.
We're all getting older.
The thread before that one had a lot of interesting things happened, most notably being
-/coc/ Tarot Cards project started
-Percinnius is on the wiki now
-New plot ideas for the 12 Demon Kings
-Lots of new art
I can't remember anything else. Here's the list anon provided for the Tarot Cards project
>The Fool- Cinemaphilenata
>The Magician- The Archivist
>The High Priestess- Moira Grimoire
>The Empress- The Silver Queen
>The Emperor- The Clockwork Prophet
>The Hierophant- Reverend Webb
>The Lovers- Mighty Mantis & The Recluse
>The Chariot- Lovely Ladybug
>Strength- Skathi
>The Hermit- Percinnius
>The Wheel of Fortune- Golden Girl
>Justice- Nicky Two-Knives
>The Hanged Man- The Recluse
>Death- Skull King
>Temperance- General Freedom
>The Devil- The Internet Hate Machine
>The Tower- Crackdown
>The Star- Jackhammer
>The Moon- Cinemaphilelette & Cinemaphilenrad
>The Sun- Lila Carver
>Judgement- Heartbreaker
>The World- The Demon Kings
One thing I haven't brought up with the list is why Recluse appears twice in both The Lovers (with Mighty Mantis) and The Hanged Man
I was going to suggest for Dr. Castle to be Lovers last week instead, but didn't get the chance.
I didn't even realize, huh. Who would you propose as a replacement? There aren't too many characters in a dedicated relationship, are there?
see
https://the-conservatory.fandom.com/wiki/Dr_Carina_Castle
Most other popular pairings are already represented.
Yeah, the page hadn't refreshed when I posted my question. Dr. Castle is humorously almost the perfect candidate for the role as well.
I remember when she was made. Some anon just jumped in with the idea after a random sketch of a background girl from the CGI Astro Boy movie was posted and psu just went with it.
Has anyone done one of the cards yet?
The Percinnius one is a maybe.
The only actually finished card is Percinnius', but an anon in the thread said that if nobody did the others he would do them himself
Different or same artist can work on it?
The conclusion we reached is that anons should just do cards of whatever character they want, whenever they want. This was the template I made but you don't have to use it.
After this let's do co Baseball cards.
>jack_typing_on_computer.jpg
Why not a trading card game?
Could LL or Jack have a story based off the trading card game?
Funny but I'm serious though.
Pick a card and a character and go to town.
Submitting Motion for consideration as Temperance.
The Temperance card is classically a female angel with androgynous features, and can represent concepts like balance, finding purpose, or moderation. Temperance can also represent removing impurities to create something stronger, along the same line as tempering metal in forging, or achieving synthesis from opposing forces. I think it fits with Motion's backstory and power set.
Happy New Year's! This was meant for a Merry Christmas too!
An extra pic. Again Happy New Year's!
Happy New Year, /coc/.
Hope you've spent this Christmas with your loved ones.
No sticc/thicc art but I did draw some Bosko cause I like him
I forget that was a long time ago.
>Dynamo League: Holiday Spirit United! (2)
> After Willow's sneak attack on her dad, the two of them went to drink hot chocolate.
> Joe, who was in his Marmot-man suit, went to the kitchen and started preparing hot chocolate for them.
> Joe: "So, Willow, are you excited about your presents from Santa?"
> Willow stayed silent for moments and then smiled.
> Willow: "YES! I can't wait for Santa to get what I always wanted!"
> Joe: "Ohhh, so it's this important, haha."
> Willow: "Yes, Dad! It's very, very, very, very, very important!"
> She took a breath and then continued.
> Willow: "Very important!"
> Joe chuckled and then gave her a cup of hot chocolate and started drinking with her.
> Joe: "Hope you will get your present then!"
> Willow nodded while sipping her cup.
> After that, they went to watch a Christmas family movie.
> Willow laid her head on her father's chest and started watching.
> They had a good time and chuckled together.
> After half an hour, Willow had already slept.
> Joe smiled, lifted her, and took her to her bed.
> He went back to the living room and started thinking about what could be really important for Willow that she wished Santa to give her.
> Joe: "I wonder what she asked Santa for... Maybe some coloring books, maybe a new toy? Nah, she wouldn't ask for this... oh well, let's wait and see, haha."
> Joe spent the next few hours checking for any troubles in Trunktown, cleaning the house, and secretly waiting for Santa to come to ask him about his daughter's Christmas wish.
> After a few hours and after midnight, Joe checked the Christmas tree and found nothing, which made him confused.
> Joe (asking): "Did Santa forget about her?"
> Joe was confused and wanted to know what happened.
> Joe: "Oh God, Willow will be devastated! Where the hell are her presents?!"
> Joe started to think, and with every minute, he started to get angrier and angrier.
> Joe: "She was a good girl this year!! She did nothing wrong!"
> Joe heard a sound coming from outside the house.
> Joe: "This had to be him for sure!"
> After a few moments, he heard a buzzing sound coming from the living room.
> Joe was shocked to see a red plasmatic ray beside the Christmas tree.
> Joe: "Santa uses a teleportation ray? That's... impressive?"
> He waited more minutes, and to his surprise, they didn't get any presents.
> Joe raised an eyebrow and then followed the ray after it started moving and went to the cookies and milk.
> The cookies started disappearing as they were getting teleported back.
> Joe: "Oh, and he's just gonna take the cookies... cool, cool."
> Joe was hesitant and wasn't sure if he should ask this "Santa" why Willow didn't get any presents.
> Joe was really close to letting it go but then remembered what Willow told him about his year present and how important it is for her.
> Joe: "Well, you know what, Saint Nick? You are gonna get a parental complaint today!"
> Joe went to the ray and tried to enter it but wasn't able to.
> Joe: "Oh, a force field! Really clever, but this won't stop me!"
> Joe took a deep breath and started generating a glowing green aura around his arms and used it to open a hole in the force field.
> Joe: "I'm coming for you, Santa!"
I always figured Santa Claus was like a title. One to be passed from person to person and that's why you have Chris Kringle and St. Nick both being called Santa Claus.
Now, who is to say the title always has to be passed to a human?
Christmas at the Carvor household was probably rather bleak thinking about it.
>Christmas at the Carvor household was probably rather bleak thinking about it.
If they ever exchanged presents it was probably only because it was expected, I doubt they have time for even the most commercialized trappings of religion. Probably part of why Lila likes to drown Marley in gifts now.
/d/-tan is smuggling a concealed weapon...
>Now, who is to say the title always has to be passed to a human?
Yep, who knows kek
but do you think this would stop Joe?
Nope he's determined to get Willow's Present
That's cute.
Boxing day bugdoodles. Happy pre-emptive new year, /coc/.
I inked one of 7 pages of an old comic that I was putting off.
I'll be done with second one hopefully tonight if I leave a NYE's party early.
I haven't seen new art of /d/-tan in a while.
Then again, the shimmie is still dead with no replacement, so there could've been new art that I just haven't seen.
Bump
Keep that in mind.
Last time I stepped out like I'm doing now the thread died,
Do you think Moira bleeds ink?
She probably doesn't bleed at all, at least in book-with-spectral-body form
Happy new year co!
Happy new year /coc/

>Dynamo League: Holiday Spirit United! (3)
> Joe started feeling his body getting teleported. He put his mask on and got ready to face whatever was up there. Marmot-man felt a force taking him as he started disappearing.
> Marmot-man (thinking to himself): "Let's hope that this won't wake Willow up."
> Several minutes went by, and Marmot-man found himself in a metallic container filled with different types and flavors of cookies.
> Marmot-man: "Interesting, there are enough cookies here to feed a village for days!"
> Marmot-man took a bite from a chocolate cookie and then tried to find a way out of this "Sweet Prison."
> Marmot-man: "Okay, then let's try to find a way out from here."
> He looked around and didn't find any exit.
> Marmot-man: "Okay, Plan B it is."
> He used his NMA Punch and made a hole in the container, then got out.
> Marmot-man: "The things I do for love."
> He started looking around and found himself in some kind of high-technological ship.
> Marmot-man: "Okay, I don't think this was in the Christmas Mythos."
> As Marmot-man navigated the mysterious ship, trying to understand its purpose, he suddenly heard a metallic clanking sound. Cyborg Elves, half-robotic and armed with candy cane laser weapons, appeared before him.
> Marmot-man raised his hands in a non-threatening manner.
> Marmot-man: "Hey, I come in peace! I'm just here to talk to Santa. Where's the big guy?"
> The Cyborg Elves, however, were not in the mood for conversation. They attacked Marmot-man with acrobatic flips and laser beams. Marmot-man, determined not to use violence, dodged their attacks with impressive agility.
> Marmot-man: "Come on, guys, can't we settle this over a cup of hot cocoa?"
> Despite his attempts at diplomacy, the Cyborg Elves continued their assault. Just as things were getting intense, the ship's environment suddenly changed.
> Strange creatures from different holiday mythologies appeared - Straggele, The Yule Lads, and even the Yule Cat. Their leader, Krampus, with an eye patch, stepped forward.
> Krampus: "You dare to intrude upon our realm?"
> Marmot-man, undeterred, cracked a joke.
> Marmot-man: "Eye patches are so last season, Krampus. Did you get that on discount from Captain Hook?"
> Krampus, taken aback, growled in frustration.
> Krampus: "You mock me, but you have no idea what havoc you've unleashed!"
> The holiday monsters surrounded Marmot-man, creating an unexpected alliance against the intruder. As tensions escalated, Marmot-man realized that getting to Santa might be more challenging than he thought.
Really, he's lucky he didn't get teleported into a giant stomach.
An early bump on behalf of anons who maybe partied a bit too hard last night.
Come on anon, you know nobody who posts here has friends, let alone enough friends to party.
Happy Year. Have a Succmom.
>Dynamo League: Holiday Spirit United! (4)
>Marmot-man found himself in a chaotic showdown with the amalgamation of mythical monsters. Elves, Yule Lads, Straggele, and even the menacing Yule Cat surrounded him, eager for a fight. Yet, Marmot-man was committed to his pacifist stance.
>As Krampus continued mocking Marmot-man, making fun of his appearance and questioning his abilities, Marmot-man stayed calm.
>Krampus: "What kind of hero are you, with that goofy outfit? Are you here to spread holiday cheer or a bad sense of fashion?"
>Marmot-man, maintaining his composure, replied, "Hey, comfort is key! And I'm all about spreading joy without violence. Can we talk this out?"
>Krampus and the monsters laughed, but Marmot-man was already hatching a plan. He skillfully manipulated the situation, asking about Santa's whereabouts without revealing his true intentions.
>Marmot-man: "So, Krampus, my man, where's Santa hiding this year? I just want to have a friendly chat, you know?"
>Krampus, thinking Marmot-man was harmless, pointed to the control room up ahead. "He's up there, but good luck getting past my minions."
>Marmot-man, using his wit, appealed to the Elves and monsters.
>Marmot-man: "Listen, friends, I'm not here to fight. I just want to have a peaceful conversation with Santa. Help me out, and we can all go back to celebrating the holidays in peace."
>The Elves and monsters, intrigued by the idea of a peaceful resolution, reluctantly agreed to assist Marmot-man. With their help, Marmot-man navigated through the ship, avoiding confrontations and using strategic teamwork to reach the control room.
>Just as he was about to reach the control room, he overheard Krampus uttering a chilling threat.
>Krampus: "I'll steal your Child, and punish them for your intrusion!"
>Marmot-man, enraged and protective of his daughter, turned back to the monsters, his eyes gleaming with determination.
>Marmot-man(screamed in absolute anger): "You lay a finger on my daughter, and I promise you'll regret it. I've faced tougher challenges than you, and I've always come out on top. Cross that line, and this will be your last Christmas. I will massacre you! I WILL FRICK YOU UP!"
>The atmosphere shifted as Marmot-man's threat hung in the air, leaving Krampus and the monsters uncertain of the consequences. Marmot-man continued toward the control room, fueled by a newfound intensity and resolve to get Willow's Present and bring peace to the holidays.
He could probably do it too, frick him up.
Makes you wonder why the krampus is even working for Santa if he still has those inclinations.
wanted to show that Joe can be a playful Pacfist but Also Can be a terrifying Man
literally scared Monsters and made them reconsider attacking him kek
>Makes you wonder why the krampus is even working for Santa if he still has those inclinations.
it's more about his appearance and his ability to make bad Children behave what led him to get the job kek

If your favorite /coc/ oc had a tiny, little clone of Hitler, would they torture it?
No I'd probably raise it to be Hitler but gay.
>raise
"Tiny, little" as in that he's exactly the same but like 6 inches tall, not a child version of him.
Chris had a point honestly, if you truly believe that the person and their perfect copy are different people then the "as long as the original exists" wouldn't even matter.
I'd release it in Tomar's house so it would chase him around.
at least l assume this is an Oneyplays hypothetical

How do you do pixel art?
Do you do that on a small canvas and then blow it up to share here?

Are any anons currently working on any of the cards?
Your December minicomc winner: Nora Elise the nisse snow fairy.
Seems everyone has a side gig with Santa these days.
I like the simplicity
Comics like this are always charming in a weird way.
I also wanted to follow the second image up with a phone message from Lila going like "dude, where are you? the party's about to start!" and Arthur rushing to get dressed afterwards, but who cares, honestly
At least in this version he gets to sleep in.
He'd be miserable at the party anyway, at least this way he's miserable and well-rested.
Cute. Who's the smaller but nearly as busty girl?
Arthur's gotta start his character arc somewhere.
my artist friends character Alaisa! She is a cunning little wannabe adventurer and we drew little crossovers for christmas.
Seasonal depression.
>implying Arthur feels any better during the other 3
Does he feel any worse?
Kinda like how the grim reaper feels when one died today.
>one
"No one" died today.
heres a Lustless Christmas pic I made for a friend
That's cute and it gets me sleepy.
Giving him sleep is pretty satisfying.
In another possible version he just gets drunk with his landlord lady, so let's say that this comic is open-ended.
That's totally in character lol.
>in character
Only on a holiday and when around a person/people he's comfortable with.
It's easy to assume that his depressed state would go hand in hand with overindulgence, but its actually the opposite: most of the time he's a prude when it comes to drinking/drugs/sex.
Man, no new years Stargaze and the Sentinels of Starlight thread? I always find these things too late. Happy New Year, Conservatory!
Y'know with 3D modelling someone could actually make printable action figures.
There was one last week when /coc/ died super early. I think that thread lasted a while.
It's still so strange to me to think about how things can be printed in 3D with plastic at your own home.
I thought the same thing about a lot of things before.
Yeah, I went to buy groceries and the thread was gone. Sad. There was a nice new pic by Comet-anon in the end too.
>There was one last week when /coc/ died super early. I think that thread lasted a while.
Yes, I tried to bump it with the pictures made for the project. Guess it was a good idea.
While I know that the Stargaze thread can't replace the /coc/ thread, I hope the former offred some solace as a place of creativity during the absence of the latter.
Keep up the good work, I'm reading it now.
>I just need to keep my head down and finish this comic.
You can do it, man. And the experience will be priceless.
I didn't have the time to be around between dealing with the fallout and the holidays.
Ain't nobody blaming you, old chum. Here's to a new year.
Don't worry, it's ok. The fallout? Sorry, I'm esl: does that mean that your NYE was nuclear?
It's just a roundabout way of saying someone close to me died.
I had a feeling I'd better keep my mouth shut... I'm sorry, for what it's worth I was sad for your loss. I hope this new year will be better for you. I really do.
Sorry for your loss.
Yeah, so am I.
If I don't have to watch someone I love die this year, like I have for the past two years, it has the possibility to be.
But enough about that, what's the new hotness this week in /coc/? Tarot cards? Who's playing the cards to predict who's future?
I just hope we are all still hear in the year 2050 or 2055 lol.
Why those years specifically?
Not really, just hope we still be around in the next 25+ years later.
I have no idea what the internet landscape will look like by then. Probably dominated by A.I. or whatever comes after.
Well, goodnight.
Nobody's playing any cards to predict any future, considering the fact that only one of them's been drawn
Who WILL be playing the cards though? You don't have a deck of cards and not play them.
As the resident /x/ schizo, I'll do itv5
Nta, but I searched the list of characters on the wiki to get an idea for some candidates.
I'm not sure what kind of plot people had in mind, but...
>Dr. Coccult
Maybe the tarots are from a parallel world and they do... stuffs?
>Enlightenment
Maybe he uses his power to transfer the qualities of the heroes pictured in the cards to the cards themselves.
>Moira Grimoire
Idk, cards, demon books... Maybe there's a demon shaped like a deck of cards.
>Skull King
Maybe a story of how the old guy does a reading of the future? Or plays tarots against a malevolent entity?
I'd like to be more than an idea guy, but I don't have artistic talent. I can only hope to push things toward an idea cool enough to catch the attention of people with talent.
Could use the magic clown. Clowns and cards is a classic combo.
Well, yes. That might be a more grounded plot.
Who was this guy again?
Syzygy the cosmic jester. Grounded maybe not, he's a Mxyptzlk/Bat Mite style magical trickster.
>Lila notices that Arthur's really into Baki
>asks him if he can get her into it as well
>he's very reluctant, says that she probably won't like it, but eventually caves in
>Arthur ends up being completely right because of author's tendency to constantly overembellish scientific facts (anatomy and human biology at large) to an almost comical degree
Tragic!
Good night y'all.
>Dynamo League: Holiday Spirit United! (5)
>Marmot-man, with determination in his eyes, reached the control room gate guarded by nine anthropomorphic, genetically modified reindeers. He politely asked if he could enter and talk to Santa.
>The reindeers, looking at him with a wicked smile, replied that only someone with a pure heart could enter.
>Marmot-man, confident and undeterred, nodded at them. Rudolf, the leader of the reindeers, stepped forward and shook Marmot-man's hand.
>Rudolf: "But, if my nose glows, that means you can't enter the control room."
>Marmot-man, always ready with a quip, engaged in some banter with Rudolf.
>Marmot-man: "So, Rudolf, does your nose always glow, or is it just a holiday thing?"
>Rudolf chuckled, enjoying the light-hearted exchange.
>Rudolf: "Only when there's mischief in the air."
>They went back and forth, trading jokes and playful banter.
>The atmosphere in the control room gate became tense as Rudolf's nose glowed a bright red, signaling that Marmot-man couldn't enter. The banter and jokes ceased, replaced by an air of uncertainty. Marmot-man, however, wasn't ready to give up.
>Marmot-man: "Wait, does that mean I can't go in?"
>Rudolf, now in a bit of a panic, nodded.
>Rudolf: "The rules are the rules."
>Marmot-man, determined to fulfill his mission, took off his mask, revealing his face to the reindeer.
>joe: "Look, I know the rules, but this gift is really important to my daughter. It means the world to her.so,I need to see Santa. This is for my daughter, and I won't let anything stand in the way."
>The reindeers, in shock and disbelief, exchanged glances. Joe was also confused.
> Joe: "What's going on?"
> Rudolf, still processing the revelation, muttered in panic.
> Rudolf: "YOU ARE THE KID WITH NO NAME!"
>Joe, now with a sense of urgency, looked at the reindeer.
>Joe:"The kid with no name? What does that even mean?"
>Rudolf:"It means that you are the kid who not just was able to track Santa but also you were able to Steal a present, that determined eyes is something we can't just forget easily..."
>Joe:"Steal a present i never Stole a present from Santa...Wait oh Frick! now i remember"
>Rudolf:"Told you! you had no name so we couldn't have known and you were really hard to track like holy shit man...for a teen, you were in so many places in a short time.."
>Joe started realizing that maybe he wasn't that pure after all and his past actions are the reason why Willow won't get presents now
>Joe:"so this is why your nose glow...i guess I wasn't as pure-hearted as i thought ha"
>Rudolf, looking at Joe with a mix of surprise and understanding, began to speak.
>Rudolf: "You may have taken a present once, but that's not why you're not allowed in. It's what you did after that mattered."
>Joe, puzzled, raised an eyebrow.
>Joe: "What did I do?"
>Rudolf: "You changed the game, kid. When you discovered the flaws in our present delivery system and how some kids were left without joy, you didn't just sit there. You devised a plan to make sure every child, no matter their circumstances, could experience the magic of Christmas."
>Joe's eyes widened as he remembered his teenage self's quest to reform the outdated Santa system.
>Joe: "I did change things, didn't I?"
>Rudolf: "You made us rethink our ways. We realized we were becoming too obsessed with the presents, forgetting the true essence of Christmas - spreading joy and happiness. Your actions challenged us to be better, and we've been following your progress."
>Joe, a mix of emotions on his face, couldn't believe that his rebellious teenage efforts had such a profound impact.
>Rudolf: "So, even though you might have taken a present in the past, your journey made us see the error of our ways. You're welcome to enter the control room."
>Joe, moved by the revelation, put his mask back on and nodded.
>Joe: "Thanks, Rudolf. Let's make sure every child gets their presents and a whole lot of joy."
>Rudolf smiled, and with a nod, he signaled the other reindeers to open the gate. Joe, the reformed troublemaker, was on a mission to set things right and ensure that Willow would indeed receive her Christmas gift.
Heck of a thing to forget, Joe.
well you see because of his tough and harsh upbringing, Joe repressed a lot of memories of his young age
I wonder if Willow has heard any of the rumors still flying around about her dad's youthful legendary exploits.
actually, no one knows about Joe's Childhood and teenage years not even Liza (she was with him the longest)
>Keep up the good work, I'm reading it now.
thanks and i will
Hmmm, I think I'm going to bump this thread.
I think I will too, good sir
Speaking of drinking, here's a rough synopsis of a crossover event idea I came up with shortly before BUTTS lost steam:
>Ladybug, JackHammer and Crackdown team up to take down a new villain (it's apparent that they're at least acquainted at this point in time)
>his name is Baron von Bourbon: a brilliant chemist that uses the might of spirits for his evil schemes
>he's also exactly as "Silver Age" as his name suggests
>the trio corner him in his lair at the abandoned brewery
>just as the villain reveals himself standing on a balcony above and begins gloating, Marley goes into another one of her long-winded superhero monologues
>as she finishes, the trio notice that the ground they're standing on is moving under their feet and the whole room begins to shift, but shortly after they realise that it's actually *them*
>Baron cackles and begins explaining how they've already fallen pray to his latest invention: intoxicating gas which gradually increases the BAC of their victims over time, getting them drunk as a fish before they even get the chance to realise what's happening
>Ladybug goes down on the spot (she's especially susceptible to the gas due to her small frame and bodyweight) while Jack and Arthur are reeling on their feet
>Baron abandons his high ground and comes down to our heroes to finish them off himself
>Jack and Arthur beat the shit out of him since, as it turns out, the gas was literally the full extent of his trap and now they're both drunk and pissed off
>they get out of there with Marley in hand and look after her as she regains consciousness
>they also quickly discover that they must keep getting their buzz on until the gas wears off because it also amplifies the hangover to the unbearable degree
>cue them patrolling the city shitfaced, getting into all sorts of shenanigans and walking around confused, observing the aftermath of their exploits next morning
tl;dr "A Quiet Drink" mission from Vermintide, but with /coc/ characters.
Spoiler part made me think of JoJo part 4 when Shigechi poisoned Josuke and Okuyasu with alcohol to get them drunk and easily beatable
I actually don't remember if I came up with this as a homage or not, it's been a while.
It's alright, pretty fun nonetheless
Because Jack got his powers mastered on a purely instinctual level, how much control over them would he have while drunk?
I'm not exactly a JackHammer expert, but I guess he'd have some difficulty with making things exactly as heavy as he wants them to be because of how much alcohol impedes concentration.
Arthur, on the other hand, has to consciously decide when to use his powers most of the time (outside of subconscious stuff like thermodynamics frickery), so he should have decent control regardless.
Also, what do you think each of them is like when *really* drunk?
My guesses are:
>Jack - The Giddy Drunkard. Laughs, falls and knocks over shit a lot.
>Arthur - The Moody Drunkard. More open about his emotions (including the positive ones), but also more open about just how shitty he feels most of the time.
>Marley - The Delusional Drunkard. Enjoys her zero inhibitions by larping as her favorite superheroes like she's twelve again.
I think you hit the nail on their drunken behaviour
It's probably important to note that Arthur would be the one who has his shit together at least somewhat (he'd have the highest alcohol tolerance out of the three owing to his stature, abilities and, uh, lineage), so he would be the one corralling the other two around most of the time. He would still slip into a sad/angry drunken rant at least once though, don't get me wrong.
New years adjacent pic from Radlazybones on X.
- The Delusional Drunkard. Enjoys her zero inhibitions by larping as her favorite superheroes like she's twelve again.
Probably doesn't take much to get her there!
That's fun.
Doesn't take much comparative to others.
Again, she weighs less than a slice of bread.
This is canon? If true, then she is the real form of a stinging butterbee
>this is canon
The first issue of her comic states that she weighs 62 lbs.
>62 lbs
>slice of bread
LL would be considered child featherweight
>LL would be considered child featherweight
62 lbs of punches and attitude
>actually, no one knows about Joe's Childhood and teenage years not even Liza (she was with him the longest)
No survivors huh
The hips just keep getting bigger.
When did he first discover NMA?
N1 is right about heavy info.
Future snow fox kid is still in the works, so that's good.
Nice holiday story.
>When did he first discover NMA?
so the current timeline is like this (so far)
he discovered it in his early twenties (22-23 y.o) and wasn't a hero then just a random "Mystic martial artist traveler" (his words not mine kek) but then he met Liza when he was 25 and dated for several years
>N1 is right about heavy info.
ik even if it's just a small part of his backstory
also my main point is that Joe could have been a villain and violent guy but he chooses to be a calm and pacifist person (until someone threatens his daughter or his loved ones)
>Future snow fox kid is still in the works, so that's good.
yes in every Holiday there are some parts that are canon and some that are not
for example
>halloween special:
Willow's friends = not canon
Lester (the young vampire hunter) and his uncle Draven Bloodthorn = canon
Damon 'Dredd' and Ozzaruth + the concept of a "visionary" = canon
>Thanksgiving special:
the gobbler and Maiyun =not canon
Agent TL= canon
Sam the Bigfoot= 50/50
Liza refuses to settle down yet = super duper canon kek
and finally
>Christmas special:
the D-class prisoners = canon
N1 and monsters and elves =not canon
Joe's backstory(minus the stealing from Santa part) = canon
the ending with Kayla and Liza =???
>Nice holiday story.
thanks and appreciate the feedback
now after i finish the special i can go on my three to four weeks hiatus in peace
And then back to dealing with your plot heavy dual story arcs of hero school and the nexus.
probably
The urge to just sort of give up and start writing Percinnius greentexts is great, but I just need to keep my head down and finish this comic.
I think the issues after this one are going to be in an epic poem picturebook style. It'd be less work, that's for sure. Thoughts?
>t. Page 8 has been taking me more than a week
That's the same thing that happened to Paranatural and Poppy O'Possum.
It's not actually easier and the urge to give up just becomes even stronger.
I'll figure it out once this issue is finished. It's just a thought I'm entertaining, and I might keep doing it this way. I just need to figure out when to reel myself in and stop putting in so much detail, which is something that a lot of overly ambitious artists never learn. It comes down to the pain of knowing what COULD be. How good that page COULD look, how spectacular that scene COULD be, and choosing to willingly put that aside for the sake of efficiency. It's a hard ask, but it's a decision that's literally killed some people.
I'm done b***hing now, I need to finish coloring this linework.
Buckle up this is the longest Greentext i ever wrote!
>Dynamo League: Holiday Spirit United! (6) [END]
>Joe entered the control room, expecting to find a bustling workshop full of elves and holiday cheer. Instead, he found an empty room with advanced alien technology scattered about. A voice echoed through the room.
>Voice: "Greetings, Joe Filbert or should i say "the Kid with no name". I am N1ck, but you can call me N1. I am the entity you know as Santa Claus."
>Joe, baffled, spoke into the room.
>Joe: "Santa's not a person?"
>N1: "Correct. Santa is an entity comprised of many individuals, including myself. Think of it as a collective consciousness with a singular purpose."
>Joe, still trying to process this information, asked the question on his mind.
>Joe: "So, is Santa an alien?"
>N1: "In a way, yes. I was originally the computer of an alien ship. However, I ended up on Earth, where a brilliant scientist named Dr. Makwell rebuilt and released me. I found purpose in becoming Santa, delivering presents to challenge myself and spread joy."
>N1 continued with an unexpected revelation.
>N1: "Elves, monsters, and reindeers – they're all part of the system I built. They share a hive mind with me. I cloned them, created this ship, and built the intricate system you know as Santa Claus."
>Joe, shocked by the information dump, could hardly believe what he was hearing.
>Joe: "This is... unbelievable. So, Willow's present... why didn't you deliver it?"
>N1 directed Joe's attention to a heartfelt letter.
>N1: "Read this, Joe."
>Joe, reading Willow's letter, felt a lump in his throat.
>Letter: "Dear Santa, this year I don't want any presents. I know it sounds weird, but my dad always works on Christmas, so I don't spend a lot of time with him. For this year, I want the crimes to just go away on Christmas and for my dad to come and spend the whole day with me so we can play and watch movies. Sincerely, Willow Filbert."
>Joe, with a mixture of pride and sadness, wiped away a tear.
>Joe: "She's just a kid who wants to spend time with her old man. huh?"
>N1: "Some wishes are beyond even my abilities. I can't erase crimes, but I can tell you this: Christmas is about more than presents. It's about the spirit of family, love, and togetherness. Your daughter's wish embodies the true essence of Christmas."
>Joe:"So the present was in front of me and i simply was too blind to see it"
>N1:"I mean you are not blind you just was busy to notice how much your presence means to little Willow"
> Joe nodded in shame
>N1:"so i need to ask this,Why? why did you steal from "Santa"?... i always wanted to know ,i couldn't find anything about young Joseph Filbert no birth certificates no family tree nothing!"
>Joe:"Because let's just say Joe isn't my birth name and to answer your question , since i was a pre-teen i was used in underground fighting,i fought kids older than me and even some wild animals...it was a nightmare but it was my life, every month i was smuggled into some country to fight people and in the age of fifteen i was already a semi-pro mix martial art fighter, and because of this mentality of "if someone steals from you you need to take it back yourself!" i felt like Santa stole my presents from me and i saw kids enjoying Christmas with their families and i was determined to take my presents back and this is why i stole from you after i tracked you and stole some presents from you and i sincerely apologize for this"
>N1:"okay this is really big info in so little time..."
>N1 starts upgrading his data about Joe and then continues
>N1: "Joe, your past actions may have been misguided, but since then, you've shown incredible growth. When you discovered the flaws in my system and worked to make it better, you set in motion a positive change that we didn't foresee."
>Joe, still processing the magnitude of N1's revelation, nodded in acknowledgment.
>Joe: "I did what I had to back then, but I'm a different person now."
>N1, displaying a holographic timeline of Joe's efforts, continued to praise his transformation.
>N1: "You helped us address the issues in our present delivery system, making it more inclusive and joyful. Your actions forced us to rethink our approach, and for that, we are grateful."
>Joe, feeling a mix of humility and pride, accepted the acknowledgment.
>Joe: "I just wanted to make sure no kid felt left out during Christmas. It's about spreading joy, right?"
>N1: "Exactly. And you've embodied that spirit. Now, about Willow's present...i have a plan"
>Joe raised an eyebrow and then he listened to N1's plan and after he finished he said
>N1: "Remember, Joe, the true magic of Christmas lies in the moments we share with our loved ones. let us Go and make this holiday season truly special for young Willow."
> The next day Willow woke up and went out of bed and then went to her bedroom and opened it
>she found Her dad wearing a Christmas sweater and a Santa hat waiting for her
>Willow:"Dad?"
>Joe:"Good morning Willow and also Merry Christmas!"
>Willow, still in her pajamas, looked at her dad with wide eyes and a bright smile.
>Willow: "Dad, what's going on? Why are you dressed like Santa?"
>Joe: "Well, Willow, I thought we could spend the entire day together. Just you and me, doing whatever you want."
>Willow's eyes sparkled with excitement.
>Willow: "Really? You mean it, Dad?"
>Joe nodded with a grin.
>Joe: "Absolutely. Today is all about you, kiddo."
>Willow jumped with joy, hugging her dad tightly.
>Willow: "Thank you, Dad! This is the best Christmas ever!"
>Joe lifted Willow in his arms, and they began their magical Christmas adventure. The room transformed into a festive landscape with snow-covered hills, candy cane forests, and colorful lights.
>Willow: "This is amazing, Dad! How did you do all this?"
>Joe chuckled.
>Joe: "Well, let's just say I have a few connections."
>They spent the day making snow angels, riding on sleighs pulled by animated reindeers, and even patting a couple of magical creatures.
>Willow: "I never knew Christmas could be so magical, Dad!"
>Joe smiled, enjoying every moment with his daughter.
>Joe: "Sometimes, the most magical moments are the ones we create together."
>As the day unfolded, they approached a grand castle, and a familiar figure stood at the entrance.
>Willow: "Is that Santa, Dad?"
>Joe nodded, and they approached the jolly figure.
>Santa: "Well, well, if it isn't Willow and her awesome dad!"
>Willow blushed, shyly smiling.
>Willow: "Hi, Santa."
>Santa: "I heard you had a special wish this year. Even though I couldn't make the crimes disappear, I wanted to make sure you had the best Christmas day ever."
>Willow's eyes welled up with tears of joy.
>Willow: "Thank you, Santa. This is more than I could have ever asked for."
>Santa chuckled.
>Santa: "Your dad here made it all possible. He's quite the Christmas miracle worker."
>Joe scratched his head, a bit embarrassed.
>Joe: "Well, just trying to spread some joy, you know?"
>After spending more time in the magical Christmas land, Joe and Willow returned home.
>Willow hugged her dad tightly.
>Willow: "I love you, Dad. You're the best."
>Joe smiled, realizing that sometimes the true magic of Christmas was about the moments spent together. They continued to explore, laugh, and enjoy the enchanting world N1 had created.
>Later, as they shared a warm Christmas dinner, Willow turned to her dad.
>Willow: "Dad, Again I love you. You're the best dad ever."
>Joe, moved by her words, hugged Willow tightly.
>Joe: "I love you too, Willow. You're the best gift I've ever received."
>Unbeknownst to her, the magical land was a creation of N1, who had transported Willow into a specially designed room on the ship. There, she had experienced the joy of Christmas with her dad in a way that fulfilled her heartfelt wish.
> Many years later, Joe was preparing the Christmas dinner table with his Daughter Willow who's now a strong young woman, and telling this story to his second daughter Kayla and his now partner and Wife Liza.of course without mentioning N1 and their talk
>Joe:"and this is how your sister and i spent a day in Christmas Land and met Santa"
>Kayla was a little skeptical even her mother who was also smirking at the dinner table
>Kayla:"cool story Dad but did it really happen?"
>WIllow:"oh yeah! it did happen i remembered it like it was yesterday but now when I'm thinking about it, how did it happened
>Joe: "Well, sometimes you just need a little magic to make everything perfect."
>They all raised their glasses, toasting to the magic of Christmas and the joy of being together.
>And so, the Filbert family continued to celebrate the holiday spirit, united in love and happiness.

What's her theme music sound like?
As always.
>What's her theme music sound like?
Never had too much of a hand in BB myself, but I'm gonna say the Maximum Carnage soundtrack.
>What's her theme music sound like?
That's a very good question. What would the theme song be for Moira Grimoire, or Lovely Ladybug? Anons, post your themes
Rebound’s would be Fat Bottomed Girls
Well that's just not fair. She's all fat, not just her bottom.
Do you got an alternate suggestion then?
Not really, I just wanted to take a cheap shot.
How about "I Want You" by the Beatles
No singular track fully fits either, but in general:
>mask on
>mask off
I actually had an admittedly weird idea of making original songs for him in similar styles, but it's hard to learn music when you have to work 10 hours a day and like 5 other things going.
One of my favorite things to do is apply theme songs to my characters and locations, and create 'unofficial soundtracks' for my works.

>Fellow The Heavy enjoyer
Based as frick
It's interesting to have such a dichotomy between his two "modes". Sometimes it really does seem like two different people
Nostalgic vibes. I think they fit the characters well, considering their silver-age roots
As it is, I've noticed a sort of funny pattern where older legacy /coc/ characters tended to have been made in a less serious context, with the intent to parody and make homage to classic, sillier comics. As time has gone on, it seems like newer characters and their creators prefer to take things more seriously. This aptly mirrors the fact that comics are (and have been) trying to be "taken more seriously" for a long while, with edgier, darker stories. It's one of the things that makes the Dynamo League stand out to me
The other The Heavy song I wanted for Boss Moss was What Makes a Good Man, even Same Ol'. Heck, I think most of their songs fit with her depending on which scenario she's in.
The simpler the tools you have available to make characters and stories, the more you'll find you lean on homages. Even old comics leaned on even older characters to get going before the ideas were splintered, distilled, diluted and repeated to eek out more readership.
For an independent story teller, it's not so much wanting to be "taken seriously" as it is wanting to tell a story the way you want to tell it. You end up with a lot of edgy stories when creative freedom is given because there's this itch people have for an edgy story that nothing out there really satisfies. The more it isn't satisfied, the more people keep trying to make it and, sad as it is to say, they end up not able to make the story they really wanted to tell which adds to the pile of edgy stories.
I don't think anyone really agrees on what is "edgy" anymore, which makes the entire process that much more difficult.
And I agree about the Dynamo League anon. He's really just doing his own thing and I respect him for that. His story also being entertaining is also a nice bonus.
That makes a lot of sense actually. I don't think anons have any different tools to make characters and stories nowadays though. There's always been greentexts, there's always been drawing programs, there's always been the same ways to do it. I think a good chunk of it is the way that the anons making things think about it differently. As you put it, people here are "independent story tellers". They want to tell stories with their characters, and include it in a universe larger than their own. Typically, anons will write a full story, script, or comic for their OC as a sort of looking glass into the world of Cinemaphile through the lens of their character. Contrast that with the more "set it and forget it" style of older characters, who had more emphasis on being fun standalone ideas not necessarily with any plots or character arcs from the getgo.
The way you write it, it seems like Crackdown to Arthur is more of an expression of his ego, and his self destructive tendencies. Especially in that picture. In the way that they're literally sides of the same coin-- Arthur is the self, and Crackdown is the Ego. That's why Crackdown seeks to fight crime and puts Arthur down, because the Ego wants to make up for the failings of the Self in its own expression. In a way, I could imagine a character arc where Arthur puts away the Crackdown mask and it's actually better for him, because he's gained personal happiness and contentment through other, less violent and nasty means. He would instead direct Crackdown towards bettering his own life, and the lives of others. The human ego, like everything else, is merely a tool. It is only when you let this tool dictate your life that it becomes a negative construct, but used well it can also enrich our experience here.
>In a way, I could imagine a character arc where Arthur puts away the Crackdown mask and it's actually better for him, because he's gained personal happiness and contentment through other, less violent and nasty means
Genuinely interesting suggestion (seriously, I'll give this idea some more thought later after I'm done with one-offs), but it probably wouldn't stick, even beyond the fact that superhero quitting never lasts. It's no accident that Arthur was born in one country, was raised in another and now currently resides in the third. For the longest time, he had nothing going for himself other than being Crackdown, no one to cling onto. Him going back to college is like the first step he's taken into unfricking his civvie life. For better or worse, being Crackdown is one of the stepping stones on the road in life he had chosen.
Therefore, the solution to his character arc I see is not in Arthur quitting, but instead meeting Crackdown in the middle, reconciling the two extremes.
Great post. It always feel good to see someone engaging with shit I make to such extent.
>Reconciling the two extremes
That's all you can do, really. Finding a way to keep that part of himself under control and living a good, healthy life beyond his delusions.
>living a good, healthy life
The funny thing is that I can't even imagine what it would even look like lmao
His mom is dead, trying to reconnect with Brauns isn't really an option and I don't feel I have the right to do anything that involves Lila.
>I don't feel I have the right to do anything that involves Lila
It's a community toy chest, anon. You can use any characters you want, in any way you want. That's the point!
I know that, I just have certain reservations about messing with character's defining traits when I'm not the one who made them, you know?
Constantly being in-between boyfriends is Lila's thing and one of the main things about Arthur is that he probably wouldn't bounce back after a breakup like she would, which is why I distanced myself from the idea of the two dating altogether as Arthur's character got further flashed out.
I think the characters I feel comfortable playing with are The Sageworthy Society and some of the members of the Justice /c/omades, although Manny is a bit of a terrorist, Jetpack Viking is a boomer along with Old Man Henderson, Colette is a disgruntled teenager, and I don't know how to write Nicky extensively yet. No one should be surprised that I have a hard time writing good people.
I had an idea of having GG with boobs on her back and not her front so that the joke is not that she has big boobs, but she has big boobs on her back specifically. Body mutation special.
>I had an idea of having GG with boobs on her back and not her front so that the joke is not that she has big boobs, but she has big boobs on her back specifically. Body mutation special.
lmao what
Being Iris in that version must be a real trip
Iris probably has a vegana in the back of her knee maybe
The shit the Comics Code doesn't want you to see.
>Old Man Henderson
I haven't thought of him in a while.
Are you guys serious with this? You might as well make GG fat and give her back boobs in a dream where she over eats ice cream.
My point isn't about the backboobs, "regular" huge breasts GG would still look significantly different if someone met her for real than if they'd just read her comics.
Wasn't there a huge argument half a year ago about "modern" GG?
So much for the "tweaking".
Not many use the hero machines anymore.
Every so often I remember Gadget Noir. There's just a part of me that really likes the idea of Inspector Gadget, with all the goofy gadgets and silliness, but the man himself is just a touch more aware of his circumstances, just a bit of "I never asked for this" mixed in with some determination to keep putting one foot after the other.
>sometimes it really does seem like two different people
It's actually one of the things I wanted to play around with:
When it comes to superheroes, people really like to put that large degree of separation between a superhero and their alter ego to the point of viewing them as different beings entirely, just think about the Superman monologue in Kill Bill or all those "Bruce Wayne is the real mask!"-type posts. This mostly stems, in my opinion, from the freedom people see in the idea of hiding their identity and working outside of the law, something that most people just can't bring themselves to do as *themselves*, but I digress. The point is, people really like to put the two on the completely different sides of the spectrum, making them completely distinct personalities even though they are supposed to be two sides of the same coin. It is, however, a fairly modern interpretation: back in the day a mask was exactly that — just a mask. Now, how does that relate to Crackdown?
The most defining trait of Arthur is that he's introverted. The second defining trait of his is that he's bad with people. Despite what most people think, these are NOT interchangeable: being introverted simply means that social interaction drains you, as opposed to extroverts; it has no direct bearing on your social skills. The important part is that you can only be BORN as former and BECOME the latter. Do you get what I'm saying? Everything that Arthur displays as Crackdown was already working inside him, it was never about the actual mask. It's not really a dichotomy between Arthur Braun and Crackdown, it's a dichotomy between the Arthur Braun he was born as and the one he *ended up* as, both equally Arthur Braun. He's not a schizo, he doesn't have dissociative identity, he's not even bipolar — he just talks to himself a lot. That's all he ever does. That's all he really has.
Sorry for the word vomit, it's been on my mind for a while now.
>being introverted simply means that social interaction drains you
Finally, someone puts it into words.
Do you ever wonder if superheroes are overly influenced these days by the anonymity the internet offers the vast majority of people who read those stories? Is there something happening on a subconscious level there? If feels like there's a massive disconnect if there is though. These days secret identities are mass produced and everyone expects everyone else to have at least one. I feel this contributes to how hard it is to share interests in real life for some people since it's much easier to show your "real face" when the only consequence is temporary online embarrassment that can be left to the wayside and not associated with yourself.
Like when you get proven wrong as anonymous you have the option to move on from that and say nothing more on the subject since there's no face to save.
If everyone's already wearing a mask these days, how terrifying a power would it be for someone to have to remove those masks?
>Do you ever wonder if superheroes are overly influenced these days by the anonymity the internet offers the vast majority of people who read those stories? Is there something happening on a subconscious level there
I think that this is fundamentally related to the kick people like you and I get out of posting on this site anonymously instead of doing the same while having our irl names next to our profile pictures on social media, but I also feel like it's different when it comes to superheroes. Something even deeper.
In my previous post, I briefly mentioned the allure of being able to work outside of the law. Have you ever heard of a crime so outrageous being met with a punishment so light that it made you audibly say "frick due process, frick those courthouse sellouts, this is bullshit"? That's what superheroes are at their core. They are rarely bound by the letter of the law, they do what they *feel* is right. As the result, you end up seeing them as *more* than a regular human — they can do what you could never dare because of all the social stipulations that come with having a name and a face; superpowers and other fantastical elements are merely the contextual means that make it happen within the story itself. They reject the flawed institutions we are forced to live by in favour of their own values.
>As it is, I've noticed a sort of funny pattern where older legacy /coc/ characters tended to have been made in a less serious context, with the intent to parody and make homage to classic, sillier comics. Really? I made all of Nicky Two-Vests' villians unhinged and slightly moronic. They're all based on clothes.
I've already mentioned how pure evil villains recently re-emerged in popularity a couple of threads back and I feel like this is basically the same thing.
People got so fed up with parodies/deconstruction in capeshit recently that they developed a new appreciation for earnesty.
It seems that people will always resonate with sincerity, or at least with a sincere attempt at storytelling. If you're genuine, then, given enough time, an audience will appear.
Most genuine stories just don't have that time needed.
homie Three-Hood- DO OR DIE, Dxrk
?feature=shared
I also thought it'll be some sort of rap. But he's a tech villain first and foremost, and always seems to either be robbing or scamming people. Probably needs something to pump him up.
I've been busy inking a page.
Oh I got a plot story thing:
>It's a redemption episode
>Nicky attempts to redeem NTH through some cliche trope
>Just when NTH is about to have a change of heart-
>Newman pops out of nowhere
>calls NTH a Black person
>Nicky's hard work on NTH is undone
>NTH will never be a good person so as long as Newman is around
>story ends with Nicky realizing that not everyone can change
>an ad plays in next page of the comic
maybe something like this. Its the best I can do.
?si=3bCA49wUZ9dwlbuO
something even more playful would be fitting I guess.
While we are at it GGu's would be like this
?si=BmNVeHhwWaf2B6MQ
Sylikon's would probably be some a Shodan-like theme
?si=u-woOt5ZO8Plw0Re
?si=PKKGjTCbEAug0F-M
I can see that first one working for BB.
I should watch Kung Fury. It feels like the sort of corny thing I'd enjoy.
Sylikon I don't have a good bead on. I don't know how psychotic, out of her mind, obsessed, or possessed she would be. Depending on how things go, if they go, will greatly influence the overall mood of the character development.
GG already has one that sounds like the mid 2000s.
Gawd yeah, I remember.
I don't want to remember.
Co needs it's own theme
That's a lot of themes and styles to fit into one song, anon. What do you think could fit?
Need a mix between 90s and 50s.
So, 70's?

Goodnight everyone.
With the discussion of weird backboob GG it occurs to me, we've discussed Cinemaphileverse characters reading GG/SQ comics, but the ones they'd have would be the Comics Code censored versions, so GG would look petite to them. All the stories of her dreaming about slingshotting around on giant bras or knocking things over with her breasts must look very strange from the perspective of an in-universe reader.
I know the anon who manages the wiki is busy. I kinda want to make a 2023 section for A History of Cinemaphile Creations.
However, I'll be basing it from the recaps/last time section of the threads
Nobody's stopping uou, anon
Oh. Thanks for reminding me. This is what I had compiled before my life went to hell.
During the first few months of 2023 progress steadily plugged along on the various comics being worked on with a new addition to the line up in an anon's personal project - Lustless: Princess of the Universe. The art was crude (and oddly enough completely SFW), but the point was to draw something to force improvement and improve they did.
By March it was abundantly clear that the threads had an influx of new anons who were slowly going through the toy chest to see what was there. JackHammer remained popular and weird crack ships and future hypothetical children were the talk of the threads. Also during March Lustless had her own comicfury site set up for easier reading of the comic.
Over the summer months a new character called Crackdown rose to some prominence, becoming semi-integrated with JackHammer and Lila Carver. NTH started having storyboards drafted for a comic, a very noir-looking comic. On August 20th the Ladybug crew posted a three page one-shot comic of Blueblood. This led to the old Tantrum VS Blueblood idea being fully written out in the form of a short story (10,000+ words).
The bug team continued to be active with their comics during September posting a Skathi one-page origin and a Wisp one-page during October.
Also during October pages from a Rebound comic began to be posted as she took on the nefarious Architect.
I still need to look up Percinnius for his more detailed mention as well as the date for when Crackdown script issue #0 was posted.
What other things were worth mentioning? Right, Bug one-page comics drawn by gob.
>when Crackdown script issue #0 was posted
December 1, the same date "Crackdown/Scripts" page was created.
Right, I still haven't had time to read that. It was posted right after she died.
The Dynamo League is also worth mentioning in the 2023 recap. Need to look up when that started.
Not problem.
Also, you've actually reminded me to break it into 2 parts.
>The Dynamo League is also worth mentioning in the 2023 recap. Need to look up when that started.

thanks for including it
happy to see that my Silly Greentexts got your attention
i just remembered that i was doing "my pitch of the week' every week before i started writing Dynamo League....good times kek
You could probably incorporate many of those pitch of the week ideas into the Dynamo League, like the catgirl soccer team.
i'm and i will thanks
>unless Joe and Liza are being set up on the best date ever.
oh my friend don't go and give some ideas like that kek
i won't say it will be as special like those past ones maybe a small filler greentext
Just imagine, Willow trying to set up her dad and Liza on a date. Who helps her do it? How far does the date go? Does she get a mom out of the deal?
About five weeks away.
>Just imagine, Willow trying to set up her dad and Liza on a date. Who helps her do it? How far does the date go? Does she get a mom out of the deal?
well that sounds like something she will do,and now i already have something in mind but we will see
thanks anon
I'm just a rotten enabler like that.
During the Summer I posted the first images of Rebound and some of her cast (since her creation) alongside a 1 Page Comic.
God, it’s wild to think it’s been 3 years since she was created and I’ve finally been in a place where I can do some active work on her and her cast.
Good morning.
Good morning.
Which /coc/ male character would like wearing a dress?
VFT maybe.
Lustbane would hate it, but also have to force himself not to like it.
I’m pretty sure Cheshire has crossdressed in at least one bug doodle collage.
OK, that's updated. Let me know if there's anything major not included that should be added.

I'm honored.
Thinking about the recap, Quickdraw, Cheshire Cat and Wisp all probably have enough info to warrant having their own pages.
It's very geometric, kind of like a stained glass mural.
Then he should be in the 2022 part of the recap. The paragraph at the top of the page does say I won't include stuff I'm ignorant to, but it's not like others can't add things to the recap if they want to.
I do have a mention of her comic listed, do you think there should be an extra note for earlier in the year?
Ah, I’m talking about a different comic than the multi-page one. It’s the art I posted in June and July that kickstarted me into getting this multi page comic done, one of them was a one page comic I posted individually by panel when I was first showing it off.
I feel dumb for forgetting to put it in my post here
but I meant to say I think you should add another note much like how JackHammer and Ladybug have a few mentions.
OK, done.
Oh, I should've probably also mentioned Stargaze in that recap. I don't know enough about that.
Stargaze started in mid-late 2022.

Greetings before i go on my three-week vacation next week kek just wanted to thank everyone who read and interacted with the Dynamo League Greenrexts
your replies is what keep me going
now as always, i want to ask you:
any questions?
any suggestions?or ideas you want to see?
any complaints?
any advice?
any advice for the next special?
Given how the next holiday is Valentine's Day, I don't think you need a special for that unless Joe and Liza are being set up on the best date ever.
That's maybe far from now but it comes up so fast.
Good night.
lustlessfriend here just wanted to share a wonder woman drawing I did. I have a new method for drawing hair and boobs. Also my own method of drawing eyes instead of copying anime with reference.
Don't stop drawing. I can see you are improving even if if takes a long time to recognize. I still have my old drawings somewhere that reminds me of how you are starting out.
A combination. The first few years was just drawing for the sake of it. The internet and social media wasn't that big back when I was a kid so I spent a huge amount of time drawing. I didn't learn surface anatomy until a few years back, but even before then, if I had problems with poses, I referred to my own anatomy or books in the library.
I had to learn colors on my own tho, and since I was new to digital coloring I didn't know about methods to speed up my paintings. So I'm still learning that.
Crackdown running gag idea:
>whenever Arthur has adventures in places that are beyond the scope of his usual street level crimebusting (think magical or cosmic type stuff), characters that are normally on this level start dropping heavy-handed, ambiguous hints that they know where his power really comes from
>magically inclined races like fae call him "The Ruin" while aliens and similar beings call him someting like "Null-Entity"
>however, they NEVER directly elaborate on what it actually means no matter how much he asks them, which frustrates Arthur to no end
>after some time he just gave up on trying to get the actual answer from them, so now whenever they start whispering about him with bated breath within his earshot, he just sighs in frustration and tries to ignore it
The times he does just ask them he's asking some random alien joe who doesn't know anything.
Only because of desperation:
>characters like The Fae Queen and Nyxiontus just act as if he's supposed to already know the cryptic bullshit they're talking about and he's just acting like a clueless human monkey thing for whatever reason
>the only character from that upper echelon who treats Arthur as himself is Skull King, but even he doesn't want to discuss the source of his abilities, because "even acknowledging them makes him involved to an extent he'd rather not be" (obviously not out of fear, but rather some kind of implied inconvenience)
Are drawgays here self taught or have they taken lessons? I'm curious about your guys' experience levels and methods
It's both.
Personally I'd say 50/50. Most of the lessons I've taken were either electives or required courses during my time studying. They didn't teach much or stuck with me at all but they did give me activities which helped a bit. Then the time before and after those lessons were self taught.
Bump
Again
You guys can be pretty inconsiderate sometimes, you know that right?
It's Saturday. The thread is allowed to die. When will you learn this already?
That's not what I'm referring to.
Then speak! What are you talking about?
