70s are when the pills started being given to children
90s were the peak at least the pills they gave you then fricked you up instead of just making you a fat moron

So tell me again how your 38 have a mediocre career and an ugly wife. You probably should take some of those zoomer pills cause even if you lose the weight you'll still be a slob inside it's just a trait of a kid born in the 80s cause that was the culture. Jiving to Black person music and israeli music while doing loads of drugs flashy colors and then pissing away the last of the wealth in the 90s while you pissed shit and cried listening to Marilyn Manson and thinking a stable career is bad

all of those low level corporate people were subject to mass layoffs every few years as companies decided they could just ship all of those jobs to india to be done by 10x as many people but for a tenth of the cost
you also didn't see as crazy of a distribution of salaries like you see now where most people in office jobs are capping out at $100k (basically like $60k in 1990s money) but some codecel autists are pulling in $500k a year just for working for google and making the search feature show even more homosexual Black person ads

Cinemaphile culture has spread all over pockets of the internet through proxies like Twitter, reddit and Instagram.
Reddit took all the green texts, webms, and thread questions
Twitter took all the thread ideas and copied typical posts from here
Instagram just straight up used screenshots of stuff going on here and webms with sound.
Then everybody kept circling those Twitter screenshot memes around until they became the culture.

Now there are douchebags on Twitter making these tweets in Cinemaphile b8 style without even knowing where it came from.
The amount of people with access to this culture is beyond measure and it's safe to say it's only growing

that when things are going extremely well and there are no real existential threats to your wellbeing like threat of invasion or other shit, that's when people invent stupid shit to freak out over - all of it would immediately disappear if there were a sudden imminent threat of being bombed by another country

It's true. This is why children who are born into wealthy families and are given everything still can't be happy and always want more. Humans have a bottomless pit inside of them that cannot be filled. We just THINK that it's because of our circumstances but in reality it's just our nature.

is not that we aren't meant to be at "peace". we as a whole are not educated to understand satisfaction in simple pleasures.

Yeah our boomer parents who were scared shitless of financial instability due to their silent gen parents telling them exaggerated horror stories about the Great Depression drilled it into us to go to college and get a nice, comfy, high paying office job while they continued to hoard assets. Well it turned out to be not so comfy, not so high paying and not so nice to realize that you'd been duped into slaving away to pay taxes and make a corporation richer, while having abandoned all your personal dreams. The majority were fine with the arrangement but there were quite a few of us who felt like we were conned into being a white collar workforce.
