didn't you hear? superhero movies are serious business for 35 year old millennial adults
Which just shows again that all those nominal adults being way too much into kids media do nothing but suck the joy out of it.
The marketing campaign fricked it up by painting it as a drama (the first line in the first trailer was "he was in the Amazon researching spiders with my mother when she died"). If it had been as silly as the movie I would have given it a chance, but now it's embarrassing to spend your money in this.
And speaking about marketing it's also plain dishonest in some levels, nobody went in knowing that they only become superheroes in the literal last minute.
> (the first line in the first trailer was "he was in the amazon researching spiders with my mother when she died")
I don't get why Twitter gays keep trying to paint this as some hilarious meme line. It's just a piece of bland exposition.
How is it possible for Sony to frick their Spider-Man movies up so hard? Not only this but also Venom, Morbius and Kraven. The Marvel Studios films look like masterpieces compared to the Sony Marvel films.
I never watched any of the promo materials for the movie or the movie itself, but solely based on these threads I now imagine it as a Jodorowsky inspired mythical-absurdist interpretation of the superhero idea.
He is born off screen at the end.
Nurse: "Ben is vary happy to be the uncle. He gets all the fun, but none of the responsibility."
Web: "Little does he know. (smiles)"
will never watch this garbage but it's obviously the second one. you need to make something a little more outlandish instead of incredibly predictable that out of touch writers would do.
based on the quality of the material and the cast i thought this was going to be a streaming tv show and was surprised it was a movie in theaters and stuff.
yikes
I've seen the film and all of those happen.
>splits into 3 ghost-like copies of herself
What exactly is bad about any of these considering I have no clue about soiboy interests like cinematic universe cohesiveness?
literally nothing

>it’s the wrong audience that is making these movies shit

Sony execs are completely inept and out of touch, it's not even funny. Seriously, go read their emails sometime.
this was all pretty on point for 2013 millennials tho.
They once considered making an aunt May solo origin story because they thought she mas more iconic and popular than spider-man
At one point they wanted a Twilight ripoff where Mary Jane was the main character and Spider-Man and Venom were both in love with her.
At Sony's last Christmas party, the CEO announced between snorts of pristine China white that he was deadset on making a Skip movie.
Everyone told him it was a bad idea but the cocaine gods insisted to him that it would make billions.
So expect Skip starring Kevin Spacey to be announced some time this year.
>They had the Spider-Manless franchised planned before the MCU deal.
>The Sinister Six was gonna bully Spider-Man because of his Black Suit, and he’d cry about it and take it off because of those meanies.
>Kevin Feige went out of way to tell them how to make The Amazing Spider-Man 2 good.
>They wanted Raimi to come back for another reboot trilogy despite pushing him away.
>The Aunt May movie
>They really thought the Sinister Six could happen.
>Their big plan for the Spider-Manless franchise is Maximum Carnage (minus Spider-Man).
With ideas like those. You can't go wrong
I liked venom. Morbius and madame web were
kinda whatever.
I think they just do cheap filler movies so they can keep spiderman license
>I think they just do cheap filler movies so they can keep spiderman license
Correct, except
>cheap
This shit is premium expensive for some reason
i don't know 80 million seems pretty cheap these days when big movies tend to be 200+ million or something stupid like that
most of those "big" movies are like $150 million worth of israeli money laundering
I never watched any of the promo materials for the movie or the movie itself, but solely based on these threads I now imagine it as a Jodorowsky inspired mythical-absurdist interpretation of the superhero idea.
There's also post credits scene with Miles Morales
aaaand super dropped.
peter parker born but not named
He is born off screen at the end.
Nurse: "Ben is vary happy to be the uncle. He gets all the fun, but none of the responsibility."
Web: "Little does he know. (smiles)"
sorry i'm moron. i guess all of the things in the op pic are true
>haha this moron doesn’t realize his sister is gonna die and he has to have all of the responsibility of taking care of Peter
What a psycho
does morbius appear and say it's morbin' time
Trick question! It's all of them haha
What's funny to me is that they're never ever gonna let the rights to Spider-Man go and Marvel/Disney are gona seethe forever about it.

2/10 meme.
One anon confirmed the there girls are only their costumes in a dream sequence
Kek the seats for this are so empty that we talk about it like it's lost media.

It has to be the Force Ghosts one, there's no way.
