Only if she transforms too often, which is a non-issue because she can control it in the show. The fact that she's 24 and looks 12 means she's honestly too dumb to stop using the power excessively -- that's over 600 transformations just to change her age, not including the additional one per week to make sure she doesn't gain anything back.

I don't think the show actually established how much she regresses each time she transforms. But as others have said, the conceit is that she won't stop superheroing because considers herself ethically obliged to use her powers for good, the same as Mark.

Two things.
One: why was Cinemaphile afraid of Kate getting killed off, if they never did it in the comic and already had the Kate-0 reveal come in later? The show did the exact same thing with it.
Two: Was Marky such a b***h in the comic too? I remember him becoming a large mangina later on, especially for the ending, but he starts to piss me off already. Tell me he grows a pair soon.

Mark wasn’t dwelling over killing Angstrom in the comic nearly as much as he does in the show, go refresh your mind. In the comic Mark freaks out with the famous "I thought you were stronger" line for a moment, then he gets rescued by the older Guardians of the Globe, goes back home to see Debbie and Oliver are fine, Cecil tells Mark he did good and that’s when Mark gets over it in the comics.
In the show Mark is dwelling over that after Cecil and everyone tells him it was justified, pushing Mark as being way more emotive over his human identity losing to his viltrumite side.
