Which is weird, if considering that the show follows the same history as the Old Testament. Wherein Satan/Devil follows God's orders to test Job, emphasis on God allowing Satan/Devil. More likely that the Angels had Lucifer get special treatment.
They're already using a combination of Hebrew stories with Christian ones, which somewhat contradict each other. They even mentioned Christ, which is more likely the swear word but still you'd think Viz would have someone omit some words like God or Christ in their dialogue, because of the implications.
