Well, Mr Cavill, it appears you may have been too optimistic about becoming the next Bond. Care to roll again, or is this another role taken from you?

can you play wardhammer for money
Big tournaments have prizes, but playing 40k is a fricking money sink. You pay a lot to get in to it, then if you're a competitive player you spend money chasing the meta. And the game itself rolls over editions at a regular pace, and the codex updates promote a power creep that keeps the state of the game constantly churning. You can start a season with a top tier army and get your build nerfed two days into it, and by the time you fix it another codex drops that hard counters everything you own.
It is not a good game.
That's why real chads play 6th ed whfb.
I just have the starter box for Blood Bowl Which I'll never finish building, let alone paint
real chads play 3rd edition 40k with their bros using the same minis they bought 20 years ago.
Agreed the game is a slog. It’s better to just paint and collect
Yes. You give Games Workshop all of your money, and then you play.
good one!
That's a shoop.
wrong
No it isn't
Did you even watch the film
directors cut
I was going to say I don't think I've ever seen a love with Warhammer being played. What movie is this anyway,?
Cavill would never even be considered for Bond, he's american
Big if true
We're all american
Today we are
So was Churchill and they gave him the keys to the whole place.
You're right, they would consider an African instead.
Ahem.
Imperial Guard.
If it's all the same price for the plastic I'd rather just by WW1 figures than SpaceWW1 figures
any 28mm 40k game thats larger than a skirmish is absolutely moronic. look at that horseshit board. theres no dead space, its just crammed with miniatures. at no point do you engage in the fun aspect of wargaming, like decision making or maneuver because theres absolutely no room to do any of that kinda stuff, you're just mashing your dudes into the enemies dudes head first and rolling dice.
I am not into miniatures or anything but think the detail on them are impressive. I watched a video about the largest warhammer 40k tabletop game or something. Just thousands of figurines of various sizes spread across this massive room/tabletop and they took up almost all the space, like you said. Even in such a massive area, it was an absolute cluster frick to watch these two dudes play. It didn't look very fun as you said. I don't know the rules or anything but had it been a small skirmish of like 30 or 40 pieces or less, it mightve been interesting.
Careful now, this is the sort of thinking that leads to playing wargames that aren't 40k.
I've already quit 40k in favor of other games. I sold most my army but keep a small 1.5k point force around for the occasional game because its so easy to find 40k games but at the club and conventions I run other games or smaller scales if i want a mass battle feel
I only play Infinity and Battletech these days.
Isnt mashing massed wave after wave of dude into other dudes how all of the battles in the lore go
well yeah, thats WAAAY larger than even a 2000pt army and crammed into a small area to take a pic
I raise you two Custodian miniatures.
Played one game of 40k and decided that it was horrible. But goddamn if the lore and painting minis not have me by the fricking balls. Just started painting my 3rd edition dudes I never finished
Did you play with friends or go to a GW? If the latter, how did you tolerate the smell?
What are some kino with wargaming
Gonna be sad when Henry gets cucked out of bond twice (2 times). Its gonna be some ugly mutt like James Norton who is a way to avoid the blackwashing for now while still lowering audience expectations and priming them
Bond, deserved to get ballbusted for calling before the flop with 7 5 suited and somehow sucking out with a straight flush
>Hmm, an impressive offensive, Mr. Bond. However, I cast DA JUMP and now my Warboyz are flanking your troops from behind.
>WAAAAAAAARGGH, Mr. Bond.
