japan makes God the villain in everything too. I find it especially creepy how they make Demons good guys or friendly characters all the time for seemingly no reason, just for cheap "depth" to the character I guess. And in stuff like Bayonetta they make angels vicious demons too, I think the implication being angels and demons are one in the same or something. To be fair though, theres lots of positive christian imagery and themes in a lot of animes too.
>think the implication being angels and demons are one in the same or something
They sort of are. Demons are just angels that sided with Satan. Demons being good guys in Jap media is just a product of a lack of originality more than anything else really. >we need to make this character popular >let's give him evil demon powers but he's still a good guy, and he has an edgy berserk mode >brilliant

Japs have good fricking reason not to trust organised religious cults. Look at the 1995 Tokyo subway sarin attacks
>it's another r*ddit /r/atheism "le religion is cult" argument
don't pretend you know shit about the hysterical cults that cropped up in japan in the latter half of the 20th century.
Again, you seem to think religion and cultism are the same thing.
Any cult that survives long enough is a religion. Look at the israelites and their Talmud.
When you get to the last few episodes of most anime series it turns out they’re about gnosticism
I can fix her
She can break me.
why does she look like she has a bbc?
Because you have a problem.
that looks like bbc to me and it does to every other rational person
go back to your Cinemaphile raid discord.
hello rugga have you gotten a job yet
>countries become rich
>renounce God
No shit.
>renounce God
>country goes to shit
Hm. Curious.

Sounds very Nietzschean to me

Yokai aren't demons, they're a different concept from a different religion which illiterate christards conflate with the only thing they comprehend
Both are gay but it's infinitely more understandable to be hostile towards a foreign religion than to hate your own people and history.
Because they're trying to 'break' the mold.
The most popular video game franchise: dragon quest still have church as the good guy.
>church
ChurchES, the games have different churches devoted to different deities
Almost like writers are all poindexters with a chip on their shoulders no matter where you go
