This moment is the one of the highlights of the series IMO. Aliens was such fricking slop. You can just imagine all of the fat manchildren in the movies screens opening night waiting for their new heaping portion of SLOP. Instead they get absolutely blown the frick out in the first minute of the movie. I imagine the tears of rage screaming down their faces and I fricking love it. The plebs were CURBSTOMPED by this movie.

I’m not calling you stupid because I thought this too but I just rewatched the whole series like two weeks ago and Alien3 was my favorite for sure. Easily the best cast of supporting characters and in general, I think the scariest of all of them. Probably the scariest scene would be the Nostromo self-destructing, probably followed by the turret hallway in Aliens, but after that Alien3 is definitely the scariest, the whole thing.
I'm definitely calling you stupid. Alien 3 is boring and terrible. All the characters are interchangeable and devoid of personality and I didn't bat an eye when any of them died. Alien should have been a one and done, it never should have been a franchise. That's why I have a grudge against Aliens even though I can't deny it's a well made film.
