So some indie video game was created. It became a trendy thing. So they decided to make a TV show about it and release it after it was no longer a trend?
Yes although I doubt its fame ever really faded, plus they just released the DLC so it's back on top.

what a fricking awful show
I saw a couple episodes. It's ok as far as shows for kids go, nothing offensive about it. That said I still prefer watching the gameplay on YT, the animation is insane.
Every pre existing property Netflix makes a show out of has been absolute shit that barely resembles the IP and normies eat it up. >Castlevania >Bebop >Dragon's Dogma >Cuphead
I don't care about LoL so I can't speak for Arcane but a friend was pissed they'd make a show about a tertiary character like female Joker before someone from the main cast.
>written by a fallen from grace comic book staff >no cooperation with Konami or original series creators, not even a title card >barely resembles the games' world >mediocre at best art/animation >script is like a combination GoT blooper reel and generic modern anime >first season
I barely gave it the first episode. Between turning Belmont into "Ow my balls!" man and Dracula into an anime husbando I already knew what I was in for. I'm glad I dropped it because the newest season was premiering at the time and I kept seeing these 'climactic' fights being posted around and they looked Newgrounds tier.
Not them but the show gave me a bad vibe basically as soon as I realized they weren't using any music from the games. It's like making a fricking Elvis show and not using any Elvis music
Exactly, if they aren't using the iconic music and opening the show like the games did what the frick is the point? In no way whatsoever does that shit resemble Castlevania.
Season one was ok as a set up. Season two fricked up by going full GoT for the most part. Never bothered with season three. All in all it's hit and miss, but the dialogues are way too much on the nose.
It wasn't offensively bad and I don't give a frick about the franchise, plus it has the decency of being super short; it's the next season when shit hits the fan.
>Arcane is good
cool, I have zero interest >Jinx has been a poster character for a while
I'm aware but to someone who has been on board since day 1 you'd think they would start with a core character to establish the series or something >autistic
a requirement to play LoL
One day your pattern recognition skills will kick in and you'll realize netflix doesn't make good shows. Everyone with an IQ over 90 realized this by now.

is the animation from the game hand drawn?
As far as I remember,; it took them 5 years to release the DLC and the animation is very impressive, even compared to the original.
i wish i didnt suck at this game, its so impressive.
Just play Simple mode.
it worked for arcane apparently. no idea why anyone would watch that show but people did.
>it worked for arcane apparently.
league is still played by millions of people globally, cuphead is not
it's okay. nothing special. better than the game
It's okay, OP. Animation will be saved in just under three weeks.
by whom
Awful game, awful show.

Bebop was pretty hated by almost everyone right? Except for those “own the chuds” style reviewers.
>castlevania
>dragons dogma
don't remind me
You guys didnt like the first season at least?

this is what happens when internet media gaslights you into believing your food should taste like shit
It wasn't offensively bad and I don't give a frick about the franchise, plus it has the decency of being super short; it's the next season when shit hits the fan.
Castlevania shouldn't be as bad as it's made.
It's what happens when you let gays have any directorial control over anything
Arcane is good and Jinx has been a poster character for a while, your friend is just autistic

Castlevania is pretty good for the first 1.5 seasons
Are people still this assmad about a throwaway sex scene?
kek I still remember how cuphead almost started a second gamergate thanks to takahashi
not even that ign doom reviewer could do that
>captcha VDGAY
It's ok as a kid's show. Why are you watching cartoons for lil kids?

People don't do that any more, pattern recognition is racist.
waste of good animation
