Chad that's good at Chad things.
That's all. Its like a show from the 80s. Nothing original no substance at all but at least its not about trannies and Black folk. I don't know how they allowed it.
Amazon has found a niche for this sort of stuff. The Terminal List, Bosch, Jack Ryan, Without Remorse. It's not all great but better than most Netflix shows.
This. I was pleasantly surprised.
The Black person being attacked by rednecks is accurate.
The woman dyke friend being le hecking sharpshooter was whatever since 99% of the show is stoic white man banging white girl and killing homosexuals.
Surprisingly good, especially for coming out so recently. There were a couple plotholes, like "Mr. No ID No Credit Card No Memberships" Reacher going through airport security, checking into a Marriott, or being that big without a gym membership. But the straight White badass was allowed to be a badass with no apologies for being White.
I should mention if you read Killing Floor, it's not a perfect adaptation, but it's the best you can expect in the current age.
Nigley showed up and kind of took over the show, and I feel like there were supposed to be a bunch of "le southern racism dogwhistles" at Babineaux and the barber guy but they were so subtle you had to put them in yourself. Overall pretty good.
it’s very problematic
the protagonist is a jacked white genius with no appreciable character flaws who saves the day for helpless diverses and women who he then bangs
Unwatchable quipfest.
Watch the first Cruise movie instead.
Turns out turning Jack Reacher into a unremarkable Cruise vehicle was better than an accurate adaptation because Lee Child is a horrible writer.
except its not bait. The cruise film (at least the first one) is miles better than this shitty show.
Almost every character on the show never stops making smart alec retorts to whatever the last thing said to them was, it is very much a post-whedon quipfest where every good guy won't shut the frick up even for a second.
dude has tons of charisma that fits the character he's playing. he is amazing in this. you might think different because you're a homosexual, but realize that most viewers of the show are anti-homosexual.
Dunno, can't remember the plot. It is that forgettable. I know it didn't drag me out of it every five minutes with [current year] social issue though, so it's at least watchable. Could have been better.
you have to understand that hollywood actors are about 7 inches shorter than the average norman
even the pebble is under 6 feet, despite claiming to be like 6'4". They all heightfraud quite severely.
you wouldnt want a gorilla mountain for an operator anyway. he would stick out too much and guns make size irrelevant at best and hinderance more likely because of the larger target
He was military police. Basically the cops you called on soldiers that did bad boy shit. Keeping in mind Lee Child had a huge boner for military service and Americana, it makes sense that "anyone who could bully American heroes (but he's totally not a bully he's the goodguy) must be a super dooper badass!"
This show was genuinely one of the funniest things I've ever seen. He's a big strong guy who cracks heads with people all the time, and is always passive aggressive, but he's also a goodboy American that always pets the dog and always holds the door for the lady. I can't stand most TV, but this was just hilarious
He has almost no money, travels exclusively by bus, stays in shitty hotels, yet has a spray tan, evidence of PED use, and a physique that requires hours per day in a state of the art gym. Nice faithful adaptation of the books, guys.
This actually makes sense
He keeps the tan by taking manual labor jobs outdoors for a few weeks here and there to make extra cash before moving on
There is a very rare genetic mutation that allows some people to look like an NFL player without ever working out and the books explain he's one of those rare freaks
Lots and lots of homosexual eroticism. It's basically gay boomer self-insert where the writer is latently homosexual and spends more time describing how hot his self-insert character is than moving the plot along.
>name show "reacharound" >heavy camera focus on his massive back and arms
it's ok
you fell for marketing propaganda catering to your innermost desires
they're very good at doing that
don't beat yourself up over it
lot of fun. one of the few shows i watched in the past years where i looked forward to the next episode.
there is some appeasement to diversity and racial justice types, but it's not too bad. it's also offset by the fact that he kills a lot of minorities. and white people. he really doesn't care what you are. and everyone he kills totally deserves it.
i guess you can say it was padded, but i enjoyed every episode and turning it to a shorter movie would have been a shame.
definitely something to watch with your dad, brother, or girlfriend.
>he kills a lot of minorities. and white people. he really doesn't care what you are. and everyone he kills totally deserves it.
Ok, but, is that really socially accurate? Because most of the people who deserve it aren't white, but Hollywood likes to make it seem that way.
yeah, they really made good use of him (he was aquaman in smallville, kek).
Most of the fights are really short, brutal, and to the point. It feels nice. This one is a tiny bit longer, but is still pretty based.
BIG SEXY MAN ARMS
don't share your pocket pussy
it's just like Blue Mountain State

There's a second season coming, I'm expecting the usual bait 'n switch.

Mountains are wide, as well as tall.
Those "plotholes" are really just from the book taking place in the late 90s and the show kinda ignoring things don't work like that anymore.
Doesn't matter, you consumed the inoffensive to your sensibilities slop and liked it.
Basically how I pictured myself being as an adult when I was 128pw22m
alot of reaching for things
reach around
Boomer kino, along with Bosch and the first two seasons of Jack Ryan. Old school military/cop shit that doesn't really get made much anymore.
A conservative show that isn't cringe
And a petite blonde cutie (she shows her boobies)
A power fantasy for white men. Pretty rare stuff nowadays.
Bland unnecessary show for Proud Boys demographic
good show. if im gonna die, might as well go to flavor country one more time
its shlockino
it’s very problematic
the protagonist is a jacked white genius with no appreciable character flaws who saves the day for helpless diverses and women who he then bangs
>with no appreciable character flaws
no facebook, no instagram, not even a tiktok
he is a deeply flawed individual
It's literally a hallmark channel show for women and gays.
Unwatchable quipfest.
Watch the first Cruise movie instead.

nice b8

This. The npc morons will never admit it though. The main lead in the show has no charisma or screen presence. He's like a henchman at best.
damn sounds like my kind of show
cruise is an unlikable mugging twat
dude has tons of charisma that fits the character he's playing. he is amazing in this. you might think different because you're a homosexual, but realize that most viewers of the show are anti-homosexual.

Tom Cruise did it better.
Cruisebros...
>man-mountain
>6'2

I would.

Tom Cruise has more Charisma.
I only watched because Kristin Kreuk was in the cast

It looks like self wank to be honest
I see the appeal but it just feels like masturbation
they made me a character! noooooooo!
He has almost no money, travels exclusively by bus, stays in shitty hotels, yet has a spray tan, evidence of PED use, and a physique that requires hours per day in a state of the art gym. Nice faithful adaptation of the books, guys.
Yeah that's pretty much exactly how the books go.
This actually makes sense
He keeps the tan by taking manual labor jobs outdoors for a few weeks here and there to make extra cash before moving on

its like 10 hour long series, but should be a 2 hour movie. a LOT of padded time.
me irl
Bollywood tier power fantasy for whites.
>name show "reacharound"
>heavy camera focus on his massive back and arms
it's ok
you fell for marketing propaganda catering to your innermost desires
they're very good at doing that
don't beat yourself up over it
My innermost desire is being built like a brick wall and having a cute blonde cop with perky breasts share a bath with me
2 hours worth of real content in an 9 hour long show. Its very slow.
>t. needs seven subwindows each with a dozen open tabs all playing different episodes of skibidi toilet to "watch" one actual show
If you have the attention span of a non-defective adult human male it's paced fine.

kino
Its ok.
Could've been better. Could've been a LOT worse.
Thad Castle is kino tho
First season was great. I'll watch the second during week-end when i'll be /druk/ and ready for pop-corn action kino
man that guy is frickin huge
they don't build white dudes like that anymore
yeah, they really made good use of him (he was aquaman in smallville, kek).
Most of the fights are really short, brutal, and to the point. It feels nice. This one is a tiny bit longer, but is still pretty based.
a genuine reacher-round
