Depends on your tolerance of random = funny humor. I thought some jokes funny but others felt slightly cringe and dated. Action is decent, better than capeshit at least. The movie handles its themes and characters competently. If you've seen any decent multiverse shit before it won't blow your mind but the concept works for the story it's telling. Decent movie, slightly too long. 7/10.
a casting director actually trying to convince you a mainland Chinese couple can have a child that looks like shes from the depths of the Philippine jungle. It was too distracting for me.
Canada makes movies (Lionsgate being one of the big studios, named after the bridge in Vancouver.) but there are simply more Americans in the world, and more American infrastructure to make use of.

A movie that's not as funny as it thinks it is but has some imaginative directing and heartfelt family drama. Also, Michelle Yeoh is an absolute treasure.

A lot of movies take pretty banal themes or philosophies and dress themselves up as insightful and pretentious and overly serious. This is a movie that takes a slightly more interesting (but still fairly basic) theme and dresses it down as an action comedy. For me, it seems like they're having fun exploring the ideas and it didn't strike me as overly pretentious or preachy, so I enjoyed it.
It's not revolutionary and falls short of mind blowing, but it's entertaining and will make you think. It's kind of like the most intelligent movie you could make that still appeals to Marvel watchers.

This is a very superficial read of the film that seems to start and stop with the sex and sexuality of the main characters.
