What are some Cartoon Network shows that didn't fit the channel?
Pic related. I feel like it would have been treated better if Nick or Disney got it instead of CN. It feels much more like a Nick or Disney show

it was more like a discovery show to me
You mean Discovery Kids?
yeah
>class of 3000
>takes place in the 2000s
once my brother wrote fanfiction for this show and made the same joke
Your brother is a comedy genius like me.
To be fair, I don't know if it would have been treated better on either network because this came out at a time when Nick started screwing over shows that didn't get SpongeBob ratings and Disney wasn't really treating their cartoons well aside from Kim Possible (Proud Family had ended by then). That being said, the series would have been legally available by now if Nick or maybe even Disney had it. The only Nicktoons that haven't been legally available in a LONG time are Catscratch and The X's
I dunno, fit right in with most of 2000s CN cartoons at the time
This was a Disney Channel cartoon that Cartoon Network somehow ended up with
>Disney
>Not Nick
*ahem*
CN was going through some shit at the time, it fit better than it should have.
>Eye razors, the animated series
Juniper Lee always felt like a B-side Disney show to me. I think the creator said they pitched it to Disney first, and it definitely feels like that is what they had in mind while developing it. Didn't help that they would always air the premieres on Sundays instead of Fridays like the other cartoons, making it easy for me to forget about it in the first place. Plus the whole Jake Long thing happened.

Actually, it was pitched to Noggin first of all channels. I'm not even joking. Juniper Lee was originally going to be an educational show
Foster's Home was to soft and down to earth for Cartoon Network (That's why Bendy, Cheese and Royal Jerkface Bloo got so much hate)
I get why someone would hate bloo or cheese but bendy was never meant to be liked in the first place?
That said while I love the show i do agree it would’ve probably been a better fit for Disney Channel. Probably go from a 7/10 to 9 or even 10/10, because No way would they have approved of those infamous four episodes
Gravity Falls felt more like a CN show than Disney.
But CN already had Regular Show.
A thousand times this (Gravity Falls' humour feels like Regular Show's if it was forced to tell actual jokes)
This show never aired in CN Latin America, somehow. Did we miss out on something?
Considering this show's strengths are its songs and writing, I'll say you dodged a bullet. God knows how badly venezuelan or mexican dub companies would have butchered it.
I mean, it depends. Disney dubbed songs are usually outstanding, like The Lion King or Toy Story's sung scores.
The art and visuals are really great, and Andre 3000 was actually closely involved in development and production, so it's not just something he got slapped in as a celebrity cameo. I think it's charming and the little stylistic experiments for the "music videos" are fun to watch.
Maddie is the cutest Amerimutt I've ever seen!

The first thing I said when they showed off Codename: Kids Next Door was "This feels more like a Nickelodeon show"
Hell no. I’m not even sure Nick would allow a show about kids antagonizing adults.
Was Camp Lazlo more of a Nicktoon or did it have enough of a Cartoon Network feel to fit in well enough?
This show straight up feels like a PBS Kids show that got lost and put on CN.
Bonus points for Robot Jones. That one felt more fit for some Saturday morning block
What's this even about, I think this didn't air in my country
Nah I think they bot fit.
3000 wouldn't fit on Nick and Disney wouldn't care for it given the time period it was released in. The show fits what was CN's irrelevant style it was going for where it was just creative for creative sake which wouldn't fly with Disney's more restraint work environment and Nick's cut rate one. Also despite being "tamer" than what CN was airing at the time 3000 could still be called mean spirited today about the same level as Foster's was.
Would you also say Camp Lazlo fit well enough on CN as well? Pieguyrulz said it felt like a Nicktoon that just happened to get on Cartoon Network because of it's similarities to Rocko and SpongeBob, but the show had enough of that CN feel to it to where it fit well enough on CN where as SpongeBob felt very Nickelodeon and Rocko felt more like something you'd see on MTV even though it aired on Nick
>Would you also say Camp Lazlo fit well enough on CN as well?
Yes. I think people put it up against Rocko too much forgetting how much it pushed the envelope even for Nick back then while Lazlo isn't about that it's just as unhinged as Rocko especially in its later seasons that feel right at home with Billy and Mandy and Gym Partner. Squirrel Boy is the only real outlier because not only was it neutered compared to Duckman it was incredibly bland and forgettable.
I literally Always forget this show ever existed when thinking of all the cn shows, I always think it’s a Disney show
Juniper Lee was a cute show.
Didn't it get like 4 seasons? That's not bad for being on a literally who channel.
>Wasted on the USA Network
Who the frick watched it? Would've been better on literally any other major channel
Billy and Mandy, Cow & Chicken, Flapjack and Johnny bravo all felt like shows AS would make.
