Leaving Las Vegas is the ultimate in drukcore. It's Saturday afternoon and I'm waiting to crack open my first beer and spend the night getting druk and playing vidya.

Heat makes beer better though, best beer I ever had was after trudging through the streets of Singapore with its 110% humidity and 30+ heat for 75 minutes at midnight because I missed the last bus/train.

the beer needs to be cold enough to begin with, but t b h you start not noticing after you drank enough
I remember drinking lots of beer in the philippines with much higher temps and humidity, but they used to keep it under ice, and in my apartment the A/C was on high

    >When airline workers noticed the actor drinking and getting out of control they prevented him from boarding the flight to Los Angeles, a source at the airport told us.
    >As the incident unfolded, Meyers, growing furious, flung the ‘N’ word. He had been drinking vodka and it was before 7 am. It is unclear if the actor was directing the word toward an individual or just spewing it without a specific target.

      >In this review, we evaluate the available evidence on cannabis and its constituents and the application of this evidence in clinical practice, focusing particularly on the liver and liver diseases. Constituents of cannabis, such as cannabidiol and Δ-tetrahydrocannabinol, have shown anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and hepatoprotective effects both in in vitro and clinical studies, and appear to have potential in the symptom management and treatment of various liver diseases that were previously considered difficult to manage conservatively.

Bullshit, niacin is not water soluble and you should be very careful about dosing as it can cause liver toxicity.
Don’t take this shit if you already have a damaged liver, don’t take medical advice from anyone on Cinemaphile (including me).
The only advice that you should take is do actual research using reputable sources and consult with professionals who’s credentials and background you can verify.

Alcoholic reporting. Switched to beer since I can actually go a day or too without drinking it and be fine. When I drink vodka I blackout for days and end up in Detox. Usually have no problems in the morning but I was upchucking all morning long. Seems like it only happens when I eat something I don't usually eat the night before.

What does it take to push someone to alcoholism? How much do you have to lose your grip?
I've been drinking for 17 years, on my college years I got drunk 3 times a week and I never considered myself an alcoholic.

      >drink when no one's around because it's still only on the weekends
      >drink fridays and saturdays, you've been stressed out so might as well kick back as much as you can
      >Now sundays too, not like you have much going on
      >hangovers get worse and more frequent, some booze can fix that
      >Week drinking usually begins thursday for a head start on friday, or monday because you felt you didn't have enough on sunday
At this point, unless you've realized what you've done, the gradual decline has completed itself and you'll be unable to go without a drink for a few hours at most. It does get even worse with the sheer volume you're drinking to get a buzz as well. Tolerance builds fast so you might get here pretty quickly

        Anonymous

        Pretty much this.
It could have got out of hand for me a couple of weeks ago.
        >stressed as frick at work
        >stressed about personal problems
        >usually get drunk on friday/saturday with friends
        >problems sleeping due to stress
        >start rewatching Twin Peaks at night
        >first day I had a beer
        >then two
        >then two beers and a whisky sour

When I realized I ran through a bottle of whisky and had taken a good bit at the jack daniels one in about a week I had to stop.
And yeah, building up resistance and having literally zero hangover does not help.
