Kinda really split on them but dont fully hate them if you look at the RX-80 Pale Rider's lineart it's obviously modern, but you can still trace a lot of what came before. Red Rider is the same but just uses a lot of melee weapons.
I think the problem childs are very much White and Black Riders due to how they look very not UC and the level of tech they have is oddly pretty advanced HOWEVER their backgrounds somewhat justify the tech. The White Riders crown is due to the fact it was use originally used to test the HADES system and it was really large also its weapon were used to test for what would be the Pale Rider Calvary Types
While the Blackriders issue was the invisibility(I get mixed results on this its either near invisibility or basically a big blob of smoke) and Electronic Warfare were great but they put some much resources into them that it cant use any beam weapons so its stuck with heat weapons and ballistic stuff.
Black's just such a dead end that it can't even boost while using the optical camouflage so you're stuck running but even then the longer it goes with it on the thing is it starts to glow white. Which is a bit of an issue.
Now best Rider is Dullahan/DII since it just gets rid of the HADES and associated headaches and just gives us a really high spec OYW/Early 0080s suit which just is very stylish.
White Rider also felt like Can we get G04's BFG without risking the thing detonating the suit? They managed to make it work but just like Black Rider it's a massive failure overall with the HADES test bits being the only success on it.
>Pale Rider isn't trying hard enough
Yes, that's why it gets passed over to Neo Zeon where they rebuild like 95% of the suit and it comes back looking like it took steroids and does crossfit
I always found it odd the most followed and added on Gundam Game lore is the EXAM/HADES/Efreet/Rider shit. As dont these have their roots in Blue Destiny? I kinda always preferred Rise from the Ashes over Blue Destiny.
Yes, the developer of EXAM didn't want to give away EXAM entirely but was still forced to provide data on it after pressure from the EF. That data ends up being enough for Augusta labs to create HADES.
I guess the reason why it gets referenced and added so often to games is because it's basically a video game powerup and it gives the Feds some more options since otherwise the Fed roster of suits tends to be less varied and smaller than what Zeon usually offers.

I have seen some theories that EXAM/HADES/HADES VARIANTS all lead to the unicorn gundams NTD system.
The Delta Kai is probably my favorite UC gundam of all time. Everything from the color scheme to it's Ma mode is perfect. Shame they never did anything with it.
It also lets you use a Pseudo Gundam when you're not wanting to use a Ground Gundam for a boss or used by an enemy ace since RX-78-4 through 6 have been used already.
And outside the Prototype Pixie we only got one of the Pixies not touched so far.
>And outside the Prototype Pixie we only got one of the Pixies not touched so far.
There were supposed to be only three Pixy units, but by my count we're actually up to four >The original from 0079"Cross Dimension >Cortes's from Federation Hooligans >Slave Wraith's Pixy from Missing Link >Lilith's Pixy from Code Fairy
>And outside the Prototype Pixie we only got one of the Pixies not touched so far.
By the same token, they've used up most of the Efreets as well, haven't they?
What's the count?
There's
Henry Boone's regular one
The EXAM one
The Efreet Nacht
Dough Schneid's (that ended up the Efeet Schneid)
The one modified into the Jaeger
Which leaves 3/8, so I'm missing two?

Sources all say 8.
Not that it matters, I'm sure people writing OYW sidestories will find a few more unlisted ones behind the couch whenever they need to give their extra special Zeon ace an extra special suit.
I love pale riders, every single one. That's why I bought all of them. Except for special clear coat versions or what ever. I bought everything off the pale rider project at least.
>Red is boring AF
Aggressor is one of the better long running spinoffs I've read
Good detail in robot fights
Actual space fleet combat
Manly men fighting for what they believe in

I like that it's a Biblical reference, and want the Space Type Pale Rider kit.
IMO, the problem is that the rest of the mainline Riders are trying too hard to be accurate to the "lore" they're referencing.

iirc Black Rider cant turn fully invisible but only does so in Gundam Battle Operation 2 for gameplay.
Everything but Pale Rider feels like it's trying too hard.

They all have vague similarities since they're all supposed to unlock the suit's full potential as well as providing assistance against newtypes.
The Delta Kai is probably my favorite UC gundam of all time. Everything from the color scheme to it's Ma mode is perfect. Shame they never did anything with it.
Biggest potential of Delta Kai is its function to make cyber newtypes

thought fluff and Side Stories' bios state that the Slave Wraith's Pixy is the same one from Cross Dimension.

1 Efreet Remains iirc

Todesritter is the milf version of the young adult Pale Rider. A bigger rack and thicker matured body. It even got high heels after being rebuilt
I love pale riders, every single one. That's why I bought all of them. Except for special clear coat versions or what ever. I bought everything off the pale rider project at least.
White as always is the best.
Black as always sucks the most.
Blue is a little over-used at this point as the original.
Red is boring AF.

its gun is moronic. So is the shield-sword thing. This aint seed

it's the most chuuni shit in UC gundam lore that's why
>take good design (GM Sniper II)
>make it worse (adding Gundam eyes, stupid weapons and antennas)
pass
> Mad about test units built for scrap
They’re all so ugly it just makes me sad.
I like black riders Virtual On head tho
i think they're pretty cool
white, black and red are pretty silly but that is not a bad thing
I like that it's a Biblical reference, and want the Space Type Pale Rider kit.

hate them all. totally soulless and ugly.
Trust me anon.
None of them have soul unless they come with a bio-sensor in the package.
I have a soft spot for the black rider I like EWAC suits
I really like the Cavalry.
Pale rider was pretty good in evolution.
