Mickey/Donald probably have the most rejected pitches on earth
I'm suprised Post-Walt Disney hates using Mickey for anyting aside from merchandise.
They are overly afraid of tarnishing their mascot, meanwhile WB doesn't give a frick.
I'm suprised the only Mickey Movie we have is a Direct to video 3 Musketeers movie.
Warner straight up goes “yeah Bugs is probably queer with crossdressing and romantically interested in Daffy” and Disney are too scared to have Mickey make an innocent joke about the weather or something
They put out like 100 shorts of the 2013 mickey mouse cartoon on youtube. The first one has a naked mickey hiding from minnie at a beach boardwalk.
It's suprising that 2013 Mickey exists at all, but all good things must come to an end.
Kingdom Hearts tv show would've been interesting, but I wonder if it would've affected the story.
