Just because a movie attempts to be thought provoking doesn't make it automatically moronic.
Thinking that it does is more moronic than anything, because you irrationally finger point at shit trying to distance yourself from it because you know deep down you kinda enjoyed it and you're worried other strangers on the internet might not think you're a big smart special guy for liking it
Not sure if esl or just a dumb teenager but you need to shift your source of self esteem away from Cinemaphile
Take fire the in the sky off the list next time.
Travis Walton was pissed off about paramount changing his story in regards to his experience. They said it wasn't nearly "scary enough" and they turned what is by his account a super chill encounter on board to legit anal rape and shit lol.
What was the miniseries about ayyys? I think it was directed by Spielberg, but I could be wrong. I remember the series started in WW2, where a B-17 crash lands in Germany, is taken prisoner along with his crew, and then a couple episodes later it is revealed that they are ayyys disguised as Krauts. And then there was an episode with the human-ayyy hybrid that was very depressing.
You guys remember the independent film where the trailer was a guy on a bicycle with a small body cam on and he got abducted and all that wierd footage on the camera after he came back? Like ayyas staring into the camera. What was the name of it?
After 2020. Based on the trailer, the plot centered around one guy who got abducted but he had a very small body camera on. The camera recorded all the wierd shit that happened that he couldn't remember. So the movie was focused on striking visuals of ayyas and the inside of their ship.
This sounds really cool, and now I'm trying to find it

I've been looking since the thread started. It's such a small independent film, it'll be super hard to find unless I can remember the name of it. Something like 'ufo experiance' but I might be off base with that.

I can't find any torrents, only a 360p online video but it's dubbed in Russian. Not that I'm looking very hard.

I think it costs like 12 bucks to rent on the movie's site. I might plunk down the money later. It looks cool.

Good luck, I also remember it and would like to see it. Weren't there two movies of that kind made roughly around the same time?
Haven't seen it since I was a kid so it probably actually sucks but The UFO Incident is the first movie to deal with greys and classic abductions. Plus it's got James Earl Jones.
Devil's Gate
Honeymoon
The Gracefield Incident
Not great but throwing in Hanger 18 and Mysterious Two again just for fun for lore enthusiasts.
For general space invader movies:
It Came From Outer Space
I Married A Monster From Outer Space
Invasion Of The Body Snatchers (either version)
War Of The Worlds (1953)
The Blob
The Andromeda Strain
Alien
Aliens
Invaders From Mars (1986)

Movie for moron who think they are smart

it's a dumb movie though.
It's a cheap Contact derivation with less tension and even less science
if i was as smart as you think you are, i dont think i would be as angry about it as you.

The Arrival (1996) is so much kino
>debates E.T.
>Contact not on list
Yea I've got two words for ya
>The Fourth Kind
It's worth a watch.
The Fourth Kind and The Vast of Night were pretty good
those missing 911 movies are good if you want loles
I liked Missing 411 better when it was about Bigfoot and Wendigos from another dimension.
If you feel like having a bit of a laugh, you might enjoy
>Communion
Starring Cinemaphile's own Christopher Walken.
I need a perfect dark Elvis movie. Also the moment the game plot goes off the rails.
based and yes pilled. i dont remember the full plot of the campaign but i know i love the multiplayer to this day
X-files: Fight The Future
Alien Abduction: Incident in Lake County a.k.a. The McPherson Tape
It's a 60 minute amateur film but I think it's underrated.

Taken
Nvm, a two second google search says it’s “Taken” (2002). The whole series is on YouTube, with 12 1.5 hour episodes.
You guys remember the independent film where the trailer was a guy on a bicycle with a small body cam on and he got abducted and all that wierd footage on the camera after he came back? Like ayyas staring into the camera. What was the name of it?
i've seen a lot. i do not recall that one.

Dark Skies(2013)
It was super low budget. You could only get it on it's website buy it had YT trailer. It looked cool.
if it is more in the style of found footage i probably missed it or it was forgettable. can you remember the year?

Frick. How did I forget that?
You're absolutely tired
Body Snatchers '79. Best scene.
Dark Skies is not super good but it shows alien abduction from a more modern point of view. And greys are scarier than monstrous aliens.
Best scene.
