You can't be serious. Elder Scrolls is generic fantasy shit. There is no video games series with a concept more inspired than Fallout besides maybe Kojima autism but that doesn't really count.
Elder Scrolls is one of the more decent and fleshed out fantasy universes.
It had a lot of good aspects to it but a lot of flaws too, I liked it more than fallout. I think it's one of those concepts that would be really good just with a second iteration after they've completed a first one. Also hire a new writer for the cringe player responses.

A lot of flaws? There's not a single aspect to this game that isn't flawed in some way. It literally does nothing right, except for maybe base-building which I haven't gotten around to so I'll refrain from commenting on that. Even something cool like space piracy was deduced to boring "just install a bunch of scramblers onto your ship and fast travel here." And even that was broken. Destroying a ship? 15k credit bounty. I was looking at the wikipedia section for currently airing HBO shows; it's interesting how regardless of how shit they are they still get discussed frequently. Unlike Amazon shows where for the most part they make FOTM shit that no one really cares about during the off season period.
My point is that unlike the TLOU show I doubt the Fallout series even has any staying power regardless of any ostensible quality it might have.
It's baffling to me that they aren't just adapting the first game. It's perfect for turning into an episodic show tied together with an overarching plot, and theres plenty of room for the showrunners and writers to fill in themselves.

Why did Enclave have a propaganda radio station and then be hostile to everyone when they were evenly matched against the Brotherhood of Steel? Why didn't they just fix the water station to gain sympathy from the mutants and turn antagonize the BoS? They could have fixed it first and then make it toxic.
