After that horrible live-action show, the chances are well below zero.

Pretty much zero. Netflix owns the IP and they already did a terrible live action reboot.

They own the IP of the live action. Shout Factory owns the rights.

Which is in turn owned by WB, right? I don't think WB would risk something like that nowadays.

So much wrong info. Mainframe still owns the Reboot IP, Netflix just got the streaming rights for the live-action show. Shout just had the home video rights and they've never been owned by WB.

Mainframe no longer exists as a company.

Yes they do. They went through a million different name, owner and leadership changes but they're still the same company in the same building they made the original show in.

As much as I love ReBoot (mega based show), War Planets should definitely get a reboot.

It wouldn't be the same without Tony Jay
Plus Hex would have a woke design and no longer be dressed like a bondage bawd

She got to have her classic look in the live action. Plus Tony Jays replacement wasn't bad.

I have to wonder if more people would understand the computer humour now.
I mean, sure, no one's deciphering the binary joke on the fly, but shit like Phong, Glitch, Hexadecimal, Gigabyte. All those should be more widely understood, right?

It's not zero, but at the moment it's seems very low. Mainframe seems to have surprisingly little interest in creating new ReBoot content (the Gaurdian Code doesn't count).

Mainframe has opened up their vaults to some fans making a documentary so they can digitize the original Beta tape masters creating the possibility of a true HD remaster (or as good as you can get) and not just an AI upscale.

It's one thing to not produce more content, that costs money. But I am surprised they aren't merchandising the shit out of ReBoot.

Didn't the butthole boss who had Guardian Code made for their kid order ALL of Mainframe's old ReBoot assets to be totally deleted just to spite them?

Reboot belongs to an era where computers were still mysterious, specialized novel pieces of technology and the internet was a unknown territory.

None of the people who made Reboot are still at Mainframe so even if we got a Reboot Reboot, it'd look and feel nothing like the original.
