He really wasn't in the wrong. Poor guy was probably a single boomer and mixed up his usual place's number with the Krusty Krab.
>Show is about a naive moron who believes the customer is always right >NOOOOOO THAT ONE DOESN'T COUNT HE'S LE FOOD SERVICE STRAWMAN
Right. Let's be realistic here. Spongebob cares about his job and would never go out of his way to mess up an order, but his autistic savanthood is limited entirely to burger preparation. Grabbing a drink from the fountain/cooler/etc before heading out is exactly the kind of mistake he'd make after miraculously creating a pizza from burgers. His excitement and attention was elsewhere.
He double checked the order right in front of him to make sure there was no mistake, the customer is an egotist who refuses to believe he forgot to order it. Mr. Krabs also made no mention of a drink when taking the initial order either. There was no Diet Dr. Kelp.
I think Krabs hung up when there was still chatter on the line so at most itbwas Krabs' frickup. The guy blowing up that much over a drink was uncalled for regardless. Dude was a prick
Amethyst could be a b***h but was fun sometimes. Rose on the other hand... It's like sugar realized rose was actually a grade-a c**t instead of a good person halfway thru the series and went all out with jt

He got it the same day. Watch the episode again, there's no night time transition and season 1 loved to use night time sequences when it could. The joke is that it felt like it took a day to deliver the pizza to Spongebob and Squidward but we were watching events in real time.
He didn't even open the box he couldn't know the state of the pizza, nor did he remark or otherwise take notice of how long it took to arrive, implicitly suggesting he doesn't know or care.
He refused the pizza he wanted and ordered purely out of spite because they didn't bring a drink that he may very well have not even ordered to begin with.
It's within his right as a customer to cancel if he wants but his decision is entirely arbitrary, and without question the instigator of this conflict.
It always seemed weird to me that for a show often grounded in relatable drama, the misfits from Jem would shift from being rivals and bullies to being outright criminals who would attempt murder given the opportunity.
It's like they realized they were too cool so they had to go over the top to make them hateable. I don't think it worked on everyone ether.
What are you even saying? SpongeBob is dumb for thinking the customer is always right, that's the joke. That's why Squidward has to step in and be a bro this episode.
He did nothing wrong.
Who the frick orders a drink with a delivery pizza?
>orders
It should come for free

Bendy from Fosters and Gale from Bobs Burgers.
I'd also like to throw in Suyin from Legend of Korra even though she wasnt intended to be hated (which makes it worse).
