Archive.org has become the new youtube. Everything good gets uploaded there.

It's difficult for sure. People didn't record news, and there was less 24 hour coverage. Other nations had news of the day to cover. Really a lot of the world found out online or on september 12th. See how slow the news moved in this clip. Regis doesn't know it was a full size commercial jet that hit. It's a minor difference, but more accurate information moves faster now. Even by 15 minutes.
Cable and Satellite channels don't count. Even in the U.SA. channels like sci-fi and comedy central didn't interrupt programming (although they secretly made sure they didn't play anything considered inappropriate for the circumstances).
I remember coming home from school early that day around noon and watching it on TV. We had about 100 channels back then. From what I remember, all of them except maybe 7 or 8 had switched over to one of the major news broadcast. I had never seen anything like that before or since

>I had never seen anything like that before or since
Yep, same. It was inescapable
Hmm I figured with the time difference more people would be out and about and have good news footage. It was early here so we just got sent home from school and watched on TV.
>It was just a normal day in the UK. Big story, but it didn't stop the programming.
No way this is true. Even here in Australia all the programs stopped and it just became live breaking news coverage of the towers.
Bullshit. I was at work in London watching it on a tiny tv. Everybody stopped working and crowded round to watch. It was around noon Customers were coming in crying. The BBC ran live coverage from after the 1st plane hit. The collapse was broadcast live. Our boss, an american, went home early due to shock. The entire days programmes were cancelled and the news ran on a loop. You obviously either were too young to remember or are just a lying homosexual.
Tbf, he'd only came back from America that day and had been on top of one of the towers sightseeing on the 9th with his wife. He walked in to work, saw us all standing around, and said "whats happened?". He went white, watched for 5 mins, then went home lol
This is a whites only board you seething impotent shitskin parasite

I missed it myself, I happened to be away on a camping trip which lasted a week and a half. It was quite a weird thing to come back to a different planet.

Exactly. Why do you care? Why are you here? Why are you obsessed with America literally every day of your miserable, irrelevant life?
It could be a nuke, but it wouldn't be the end of civilization.
IMHO we'll see nukes being used fairly regularly in wars once the fear of mutually assured destruction wears off. Instead the new fear will be which nuke will be one nuke too many.
Yeah that was probably the closest I felt to that sinking feeling from 9/11 in my adult life, felt surreal seeing a pandemic actually get declared here in my lifetime (always seemed like these things would peter out like Avian flu and Swine Flu).
Covid certainly proved to me that the people of our country will inevitably keel over to the government for anything and learned nothing from the Patriot Act.
I hope Russia nukes Kiev while that odious troon is filming his creepy little videos and we can see him turn like when a cartoon character gets electrocuted and it's a man's skeleton lmao
I will breathe a deep sigh of relief when it comes because a loooot of people deserve it lmao for perpetuating the COVID scam and violating everybody's human rights
Yo who are the people who went up to visit the empire state building that morning and had to watch planes crash into wtc. And then wonder if they're next and it takes a while to get down from there...
Both Regis and Kelly are trying to be as diplomatic as possible and not give people incorrect information as it breaks.
These days they wouldn't keep rolling.
he's clearly just trying to keep his shit together on live air. He's used to reading celebrity gossip off of cue cards and suddenly he's reporting a huge attack in real time. I imagine it's pretty nerve-racking. She's clearly too shocked to say anything. Notice how she walks off before they even cut to commercial at the end
Yea, it's honestly kind of sick what they're doing here. I would not want to have to entertain and explain whats happening when I don't know. Regis only knows what he is told and he was told wrong information and he doesn't want to look stupid on TV for something as outside the norm as this.

After the first plane hit everyone's assumption was it was a major accident so they tried to keep the show going, once the second one hit they along with everyone else knew exactly what was going on. No coming back from that
If you watch various news footage many are in disbelief and can't comprehend what they're seeing and don't want to get any information wrong. In their minds a small plane flew into the tower and the fire will go out soon and everything will be back to normal. Where there is smoke on the next building that means the first hit magically jumped to there somehow. Even when the first tower collapses they don't believe their eyes and go several minutes as if they didn't just see a tower disappear.
This sent chills down my spine for some reason. I think its just the reaction from the woman in shock, usually those talk show roasties are overly perky and non stop talking. Anyone know what happened after the break? Surely they couldnt go back to their regular trivial programming knowing wtf is going on live.
If you search for Regis & Kelly 9/11 there's a longer clip, about 15 minutes, where they come back... eventually they go to the network's main news feed
clown world
the old world has ended the 90s are done etc
I remember it all and I can say there was a noticeable change in everything afterwards. I say this without exaggeration. The NSA, the war on terror, a pointless ramp up of the war on drugs, truly making the USA hated by the world begin afterwards.
Kind of a psychopathic thing to write, don't you think? might be that you've slipped a bit too far off into the deep end; then again, I seriously would consider that you're not even American to begin with.
There are some soulless people that would adopt an antisocial and psychopathic misanthropic attitude like that; there were some who did even then. However, they're not going to ever amount to anywhere near half of the country, just a smattering of little pseuds or foreigners who want attention gathered to themselves; people like hasan piker or whatever his stupid name is.
i think a serious percentage of this country is very close to becoming a terrorist and doing something just like this. i think those same people actually tried to blow up those same buildings before the muslims did.
???
The WTC were attacked by Osama's group in 1993. Men responsible were apprehended at the time, and the group took responsibility for the attack. Several people died as a result of that attack, and a memorial was in place in the sculpture park of WTC.
Never before has so much reference material been available to people who also spend no time looking any of it up and reading it.

what are the Dancing Israelis
how was it that the entire israeli community in New York were tipped off and told not to show up to work on 9/11?
this. there were a lot of cynical edgelords before 9/11, especially in the 90s. 9/11 brought out a lot of kindness and sympathy in people, at least for a short while. The difference is you now have social media telling people it's their moral duty to say really distasteful shit when it involves someone they don't agree with. Back then they knew they were being edgy. These days they think they're in the right. But it's still a minority of people who do this
People now openly celebrate with little gay crab emojis when people they don't like die, posting under their real names. The fracturing of society is real, America was a very different place in 2001.
He is 100% correct.
How the fuck do you not see that so many have been brainwashed into hating the place?
what zoomers don't remember about 2001 is that it's not like the country was joining hands across the world at that time. we'd just gotten out of the clinton administration and trust in the government officials was at a definite low. after 9/11 there was a strange rallying and community that came about from it. as far as i recall, even family/friends of family who considered themselves liberal were somewhat -for- bush doing -something- about it. now of course, years later, we realize that the war in iraq was a sham and facade, but at the time, i would say the majority of americans were in favor of some sort of military retaliation in the middle east
>we'd just gotten out of the clinton administration and trust in the government officials was at a definite low.
What revisionist take is this? Clinton's final poll numbers were literally the highest since FDR lmao
The problem with 9/11 recollections is that every moron colors it with their own political perceptions. His obvious conservative lean really disgraces the time period he's trying to describe. He really thinks his thoughts were the majority.
The 2000 election was a shitshow. Clintons sex scandal did hurt the image of the country and offended christian america, but the economy was doing amazing and was on a path to a greatness like nothing we'd ever seen before. However, Gore declined Clinton's support because of the scandal during his campaign. He was boring and W. Bush had a charisma about him.
And then Florida fucked everything up completely, W's brother was governor here and basically handed him the election. Over 200 votes. There were 1000s of votes that were "disqualified" because they were paper ballets and even though people voted for Gore, they didn't punch the hole properly. Aka hanging chads. Gore was even ahead to win the election and Jeb told them not to call it in a way that made it seem like he was going to do something about that.
As far as W's first year before 9/11, he immediately reversed Clinton's economy because, and you can look this up in his speeches, there's no point in having a budget surplus. "The money is there to be spent" he'd say retarded shit like this, ignoring the fact that we were trillions in debt and the annual surplus was there to gradually lead to a debt-free America. Just over 20 years later and look where we're at now. In fact, if you wanna see something neat, look at this:
https://www.usdebtclock.org/2000.html
This is what the USA economy was trending for in September 20, 2000, under the Clinton administration. Our debt is decreasing. Now change it to any other year under any other President.
Cool meme, but the 2000 election was when American Democracy died. Bush wasn't elected, he was appointed.

Joking or not, there was a toooon of openly shady shit about that election. There was weird ballets that caused people to vote for an independent candidate instead of Gore, there was a recount that was overruled by a republican majority supreme court, and despite everything with the recount results that came after the supreme court decision but before the election was certified for Bush, Gore came out 1,000 votes ahead in Florida. The election should have gone to him.
If you have time to read, think about how different this world could be if the elected President took office in 2000. Would 9/11 have still happened? The Iraq invasion? The housing market/economy collapse? The left radicalizing starting with "white privilege" and ending up in this tranny hellhole we're in today? You know Biden was the one who started the gay marriage slippery slope in 2010 where he accidently came out in support of it(even Democrats only supported civil unions at the time). It was called a gaffe because it fucked with the Obama administration who didn't want to go that direction, at least at the time, and they were basically forced into it. Imagine if Obama/Biden were never elected because there was no Bush administration to steer people to vote for him.
You election deniers make me sick. Fucking incel conspiracy theorists

I'm well pleased with the licking they got that they earned in spades throughout the centuries. No one would mess with them if they didn't mess with the world. they live in a goddam desert.

The war iraq war one of the most protested against wars in recorded history.
Am surprised he's so softly-spoken and lucid. I'm not sure what I was expecting, something more like the guy that speaks in a bizarre way in police academy. I guess ~~*~~*they*~~*~~ want you to think that about these guys, to dismiss them all as crazy and stupid, so that's why their voices are so rarely heard.
there was definitely more going on in his head than he wanted to show. he seemed pretty aware like he's thought about all of the topics a lot before, but like he said, the drugs affected his brain so he wasn't really in control anymore, not fully, and he just wanted out.
at a guess, what might have cleared his mind so much to reach that state, was the realisation of what he'd done and his subsequent decision to die.
once that was set in his mind, any interference would have been tuned out.

Lol did you watch the full video, go to around 10:00
now days those same terrorists would commit the crime because prisoners were treated well. its ridiculous. violent rebellion is done solely to make yourself feel more important. and involving innocents immediately nullifies all of your points. if your country pulls you from your morals its your duty to emigrate or peacefully protest.

The journalists won. Of course.
cool story...the two guys from this video, Jim Ryan (anchor) and Dick Oliver (reporter) were preparing to broadcast live the morning of 9/11 when the first plane hit the WTC. Dick was in the area and his cameraman caught the sound of the first impact. It's one of only two videos in existence that captured the moment (although there's another amateur video out there that shows the moment a few seconds after impact). Dick died in 2016 at 77, Jim is still alive at 84.
it's not unusual for a woman to have 9 kids or whatever, particularly if the family has no concerns about the cost they present. It's only as child mortality decreased and wealth improved that women stopped having tons of children, at least anywhere where traffic lights are more than a suggestion.
it should have been impossible for her child to even be in a position where entry into the enclosure was an outcome. Consider other enclosures, such as kodiak bears, where the pedestrian walk will be encased with thick translucent barriers and reinforcement, as well as natural barriers for the animal like a trench or high walls. Aggressive animals that have the capacity to kill should have layers of separation from the public, expect stupid shit to happen, so design against it. A fence railing being the best you've got is stupid.
>it should have been impossible for her child to even be in a position where entry into the enclosure was an outcome.
Same situation but it's a cruse ship. Is the cruise ship that is at fault?
>it should have been impossible for her child to even be in a position where entry into the enclosure was an outcome.
It already was impossible, but she lifted him up on the railing. It's not the zoo's fault. >Consider other enclosures, such as kodiak bears, where the pedestrian walk will be encased with thick translucent barriers and reinforcement
That's because huge bears can easily break a wooden railing. The thick plastic barriers take away from the zoo experience but is done where necessary. >as well as natural barriers for the animal like a trench or high walls
The viewing platform is way above the enclosure so not sure what high walls would solve. >. Aggressive animals that have the capacity to kill should have layers of separation from the public, expect stupid shit to happen, so design against it.
They created the safest atmosphere without ruining the viewing experience. It's literally not their fault if someone goes out of their way to cause a dangerous situation. Members of the public more often endanger themselves at the subway station, on the road, on a cruise ship, on roller coasters, etc. You wouldn't want any of these things to get even more shitty from overemphasis of safety, so why should the zoo? Nobody gets hurt unless someone goes out of their way to be stupid. > A fence railing being the best you've got is stupid.
The railing was very high, nobody fell through it until the mom went out of her way to put the child into the small gap.
The viewing platform was elevated above the enclosure so there's no way a wild dog could access it.
There is nothing wrong with the design. Retards can make the safest possible thing you can imagine dangerous for themselves or others. If it was just a giant TV screen showing a live feed of the dogs from 500 miles away, the mom would still find a way to kill her child.
>If it was just a giant TV screen showing a live feed of the dogs from 500 miles away, the mom would still find a way to kill her child.
Mom lets kid climb on TV to look at doggies better, TV falls on kid. This is the zoo's fault.
The really bad CGI figures of the mother holding up the son over the railing always gets me. I know I shouldn’t laugh some poor child got mauled by African dogs but it just seems all tone deaf.
this brave man shooting himself in the mouth is easily one of the most influential/important moments in live TV history
>singlehandedly made Associated Press switch from black and white photos to full color film >probably the biggest reason we have newscasting delays (to prevent incidents like this and "GET OFF IT") >his .357 haircut on his last day in office resulted in a ~$1 million payout for his family in benefits >gave hundreds of thousands of children across the state of Pennsylvania nightmares for years to come
I missed out on the whole shared trauma thing, my school had a big camping trip for the higher grades that lasted a week and we didn't know about it until we got back.

thankfully such paranoia and mass hysteria never happened again.
I was born too late to witness the Challenger explosion but one day when I was 12 I stayed home from school sick and was flipping through channels when I saw CNN interviewing the Columbia crew live from orbit. The following Saturday morning I woke up to make a bowl of cereal and saw this happening on live TV
my family drove all the way down to watch the shuttle launch in 1985 - i think it was the one just before the challenger.
when we arrived, there were cars all along the road for miles - so we just stepped out of the car, everyone did along the road, and watched from there..
saw it go up in an arc, which surprised me, i thought it would go straight up.
was a mile away or so.
i appreciate now the trouble my parents took to make sure we saw it happen in real life.
This was a great day in the UK. The pub I was at had a lock in, singing and dancing all night, loud music with the 24 hour news channel on mute in the background.
We still celebrate it every year.

I love the kangaroo handler is all “he usually ain’t that violent”. Rags the roo just straight raping that ugly furry in the suit. Seeing the small kid around at the end gave me a bit stress luckily one of the hosts took her away yikes.
I went on a 9/11 binge during the lockdown. PBS truly does have an excellent series on 9/11 related events on their website. Goes from 9/11 to the war to isis. Just recaps like 20 years of the fallout over 9/11
Maybe they were still hoping it was just an accident, so they were more relaxed. The second hit left no doubt that it's a deliberate attack and everyone realised how serious the shit was
>When something like this happe- >Cuts to wide shot and shows second tower smoking >Oh it looks like both buildings... >live audience collectively gasps
K I N O
>think >9/11 happens >government uses it as an excuse to invade Afghanistan and Iraq >give contracts for both invasions to Halliburton >VP of USA is this guy Dick Cheney who was the former CEO of Halliburton >Iraq invasion is justified over them having nukes >there were no nukes in the end >Afghanistan and Iraq had no involvement in 9/11 either
Everyone but the schizoest of schizos has moved past all the controlled demolition/micronukes/nanothermite/cruise missiles/etc. shit. Some planes hit some buildings, they burned, they collapsed, and some rubble hit and damaged a bunch of nearby buildings. That's what happened.
But it's also obvious that there were people who knew an attack was imminent and either ignored it or actively impeded efforts to prevent it.
>Oy vey we need to kill all the palestinians

> Martin and Lewis Reunion
Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis worked with each other for years; and then split up, not talking with each other for (I think) decades. During the 1976 Jerry Lewis Telethon, Martin came out for a surprise reunion:
I was 11 or 12 when it happened. I laughed when people were jumping because I thought it was a movie then my mom yelled at me that it was real. I asked if I could stay home from school and she said no, went to school and was told they've phoned everyone's parents to come pick us up.
This was the turning point where everything fell to shit. TV Became unwatchable, movies started to decline... Fucking terrorists.
> Bill O'Reilly Meltdown
A few decades ago, Bill O'Reilly was a very popular Fox News Anchor (8pm slot). He got his start on "Inside Edition"; where he had this meltdown:
One of my favorites: > local news does a "110th birthday" live shot > probably a cub reporter, low on totem pole > whole thing is a crash and burn; but reporter stays perky trying to save it
I don’t know if it’s from me getting into my 30’s but I’m really starting to miss pre-9/11 world.
I’m trying to improve my life for the future but things just felt so much more hopeful and optimistic for the future back then. Hell to be honest I think things were still decent until the stock market crash of 2008, feels like I haven’t felt safe with my financial status since that shit happened and always feels like another crash is on the horizon.
Peak retard fantasy world. You were a literal child so unless you were getting raped by your parents daily it would be surprising if life didn't feel easier. Financial crash of 2008 changed your outlook on your finances as a teenager? I'm sure it was at the top of your mind between browsing 4chins and jerking off.
9/11 really changed how I viewed Americans. Before that I always viewed Americans as tough guys, but the fact they had such an extreme reactions to just a few deaths made me realize Americans are just sheltered weak people. They were literally crying 24/7 for MONTHS on TV about 9/11 like nukes had bombed entire cities. It was the most absurd happening of all time, literally airing their inner femininity 24/7.
For me, Cinemaphile being the last bastion of anonymity and "free speech" on the internet made me realize how annoying and shitty non-Americans are. I mean, I used to think worldies were just retarded children who had shitty boring cultures and were awkward and lame and I guess I still feel that way, but now I realize how much they seethe and cry and project at America because their own governments are skull fucking them hard so to save face they post on an anime website created by Americans, airing their inner femininity 24/7.

I can’t help but think the next 9/11 level event will be a nuke and it will potentially lead to the end of civilization. It’s a terrifying thought.
It could be a nuke, but it wouldn't be the end of civilization.
IMHO we'll see nukes being used fairly regularly in wars once the fear of mutually assured destruction wears off. Instead the new fear will be which nuke will be one nuke too many.

My friend and I joke that it was a conspiracy to stop the XFL Houston Roughnecks' undefeated season
Nothing really changed in my life during covid. Actually liked the masks and 2 meters.
Good, fuck this life and every fucking person in it.
Cry more, homosexual
rude
Biden admin is already prepping a false flag. They know they’re fucked in 24 and they will be able to stop the election when the nukes drop.
NWO always wins.

Too sweet.
Covid was worse than 911
>cozy inside time and no work at work for months
Vs
>the end of western civilization
9/11 was worse.
>9/11
>the end of western civilization
a bit dramatic
nope, it was the high water mark.
99 was the high mark.
i think it was 00
Worse video games, music, and pro wrestling in 2000.
stone cold was the jannetty brother
Found the homosexual who was born afterwards
I was born in 97, I think you're being dramatic
>97
And you are too young and stupid to realize what shit was like before
97 was a great year, too bad everything went downhill from there
I think you're being overly dramatic about it. It was a monumental event but to say it killed western civilization is laughable.
No, you're just being a dumb homosexual
someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed
10000% wrong
You have no idea
Covid was the zoomer 9/11 and it stripped our freedoms even moreso than the patriot act
I hope Russia nukes Kiev while that odious troon is filming his creepy little videos and we can see him turn like when a cartoon character gets electrocuted and it's a man's skeleton lmao
A nuke going off would be unprecedented levels of kino. Idc where it is as long as its not on me. Think of the cinema.
Regis was the best, F.
>Regis watches a replay of the second plane hitting the second tower
-in a monotone voice "oh yeah this is really something"
These tv/hollywood people really are dead inside aren't they?
No coming back from that
>gay...fucking shit
If you watch various news footage many are in disbelief and can't comprehend what they're seeing and don't want to get any information wrong. In their minds a small plane flew into the tower and the fire will go out soon and everything will be back to normal. Where there is smoke on the next building that means the first hit magically jumped to there somehow. Even when the first tower collapses they don't believe their eyes and go several minutes as if they didn't just see a tower disappear.
speaking of not wanting to get it wrong; that happened with Frank Reynolds, anchor of ABC news; with the Reagan assassination attempt
I wonder how different the world would be if Hinkley was a better shot.
Nothing tops this one, where the Meteorologist makes a beastiality joke about the News Anchor.
That's some David Brent level shit
Damn. What an asshole.
HOLY KINO
God damn
dude looks high AF near the end. If you're going for live news, there's always the classic:
This sent chills down my spine for some reason. I think its just the reaction from the woman in shock, usually those talk show roasties are overly perky and non stop talking. Anyone know what happened after the break? Surely they couldnt go back to their regular trivial programming knowing wtf is going on live.
If you search for Regis & Kelly 9/11 there's a longer clip, about 15 minutes, where they come back... eventually they go to the network's main news feed
Everyone was so nice to each other after 9/11 it was max comfy.
Zoomers will never understand such kindness.
That often gets overlooked because of the jingoism that came after. But yes the first few weeks had a very unified feeling.
this is exactly why false flag attacks happen. unite everyone against (anyone who the israelites dont like)
The US unironcally had unlimited good will and support from pretty much every non-shit hole country even the faggy European countries.
Then the government and media started a shitshow when France didn't want to join in on the invasion.
baghdad bob was worth the trip
FREEDOM FRIES
Given the shitshow in Algeria, I can’t blame them.
9/11 was based. We go to go home from school early, me and my friends went skimboarding on the beach. Thanks israelites
I was chilling with my friends too.
Zoomers,
Imagine you think actual World War 3 is about to happen. Not a meme happening like the war in Ukraine or Covid.
But actual shit-hits-the-fan real fear the world will never be the same. That's what the initial 24 hours of 9/11 felt like.
I remember coming home from school and hearing the fighter jets circling around my city
Tanks were on every intersection in my city because we have a major airbase here, national guard had sandbags and machineguns set up in an hour

So's your face your life your penis your bank account your social life and your success rate with women
If it happened again today half the country would celebrate.
clown world
the old world has ended the 90s are done etc
I remember it all and I can say there was a noticeable change in everything afterwards. I say this without exaggeration. The NSA, the war on terror, a pointless ramp up of the war on drugs, truly making the USA hated by the world begin afterwards.
it really is all so tiresome
Kind of a psychopathic thing to write, don't you think? might be that you've slipped a bit too far off into the deep end; then again, I seriously would consider that you're not even American to begin with.
They voted for it.
reading comprehension really isn't your thing, is it?
Ice cream has no bones.
He is 100% correct.
How the fuck do you not see that so many have been brainwashed into hating the place?
There are some soulless people that would adopt an antisocial and psychopathic misanthropic attitude like that; there were some who did even then. However, they're not going to ever amount to anywhere near half of the country, just a smattering of little pseuds or foreigners who want attention gathered to themselves; people like hasan piker or whatever his stupid name is.
Serious cope.
But hey everyone deals with the collapse in their own way, do what you have to do.
I realize you won't ever have a hope of being anything but what you are. Have a nice day.
i think a serious percentage of this country is very close to becoming a terrorist and doing something just like this. i think those same people actually tried to blow up those same buildings before the muslims did.
???
The WTC were attacked by Osama's group in 1993. Men responsible were apprehended at the time, and the group took responsibility for the attack. Several people died as a result of that attack, and a memorial was in place in the sculpture park of WTC.
Never before has so much reference material been available to people who also spend no time looking any of it up and reading it.
lol you're right i confused it with okc. point stands ya'll qaeda is scarier to me than foreign attacks at this point.
Good. homosexuals like you should live in fear.
I think you don’t know what you’re talking about and the reason I think you don’t know what you’re talking about is because you just admitted you thought that Republicans were the original 9/11 bombers
what are the Dancing Israelis
how was it that the entire israeli community in New York were tipped off and told not to show up to work on 9/11?
this. there were a lot of cynical edgelords before 9/11, especially in the 90s.
The fracturing of society is real, America was a very different place in 2001.
what zoomers don't remember about 2001 is that it's not like the country was joining hands across the world at that time. we'd just gotten out of the clinton administration and trust in the government officials was at a definite low. after 9/11 there was a strange rallying and community that came about from it. as far as i recall, even family/friends of family who considered themselves liberal were somewhat -for- bush doing -something- about it. now of course, years later, we realize that the war in iraq was a sham and facade, but at the time, i would say the majority of americans were in favor of some sort of military retaliation in the middle east
>we'd just gotten out of the clinton administration and trust in the government officials was at a definite low.
What revisionist take is this? Clinton's final poll numbers were literally the highest since FDR lmao
The problem with 9/11 recollections is that every moron colors it with their own political perceptions. His obvious conservative lean really disgraces the time period he's trying to describe. He really thinks his thoughts were the majority.
>waah
Gore lost, deal with it homosexual
That’s the media fudging the numbers as usual
nobody liked fdr zoomie
>W's brother was governor here and basically handed him the election
Oh look, another election denier.
Cool meme, but the 2000 election was when American Democracy died. Bush wasn't elected, he was appointed.
You election deniers make me sick. Fucking incel conspiracy theorists
The election should have gone to him.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2000_United_States_presidential_election_recount_in_Florida
I'm well pleased with the licking they got that they earned in spades throughout the centuries. No one would mess with them if they didn't mess with the world. they live in a goddam desert.
>now of course, years later, we realize that the war in iraq was a sham and facade

it's so rare to see someone speak so honestly.
He's literally just some maniac that found himself in a room full of older people that talked nice to him, so he started placating them.
If he was in a room full of hippies he'd be going on about peace and love. Instead he ran with violent weirdos and started ranting about weird shit.
nice try glowie
now days those same terrorists would commit the crime because prisoners were treated well. its ridiculous. violent rebellion is done solely to make yourself feel more important. and involving innocents immediately nullifies all of your points. if your country pulls you from your morals its your duty to emigrate or peacefully protest.

cool story...the two guys from this video, Jim Ryan (anchor) and Dick Oliver (reporter) were preparing to broadcast live the morning of 9/11 when the first plane hit the WTC. Dick was in the area and his cameraman caught the sound of the first impact. It's one of only two videos in existence that captured the moment (although there's another amateur video out there that shows the moment a few seconds after impact). Dick died in 2016 at 77, Jim is still alive at 84.

I would hope it was before. Who's done raping by 9AM? My Gramma's no quitter.
Kelly Rippa always seemed like an absolute nympho.
She passed out while having sex, look it up
it's not unusual for a woman to have 9 kids or whatever, particularly if the family has no concerns about the cost they present. It's only as child mortality decreased and wealth improved that women stopped having tons of children, at least anywhere where traffic lights are more than a suggestion.
>it's not unusual for a woman to have 9 kids or whatever
i love that tom jones song
>Experts say he didn’t stand a chance
Man that's horrible but the 3D models they made me fucking kek
I sure hope they euthanized those dogs, and fired everyone involved with designing that enclosure or managing it.
why? it was the mother put kid up on the railing.
it should have been impossible for her child to even be in a position where entry into the enclosure was an outcome.
I remember seeing this all over the tabloids at the check out in Kroger, Winn Dixie, etc.
>it should have been impossible for her child to even be in a position where entry into the enclosure was an outcome.
>African dogs
>WARNING
>DON'T THROW YOUR MULATTO BABY INTO THE DOG PEN
>WARNING
what is the point of the 3d diorama?
to illustrate to the audience what a pack of angry murder dogs looks like in an enclosure where a small child has just fallen
they keep cutting to footage of the dogs eating to make it seem like you're watching a kid get ate alive. fuck the news dude.
The really bad CGI figures of the mother holding up the son over the railing always gets me. I know I shouldn’t laugh some poor child got mauled by African dogs but it just seems all tone deaf.
I hope to God Regis fucked her. Often.
>What are the most kino moments on live TV?

I missed out on the whole shared trauma thing, my school had a big camping trip for the higher grades that lasted a week and we didn't know about it until we got back.
not sure about trauma but I remember everyone being on edge in crowded places for a while. The subsequent anthrax scare certainly didn't help either
then there was the muslim sniper that was killing people in the DC area half a year later
Fucking anthrax, wow
Was anyone in the Washington DC area during the "DC sniper" scare? That whole year was just an absolute whirlwind of shit, man.
remember people stocking up on trashbags and ducktape to seal their windows from chemical attacks? paranoia from random external threats was so high after all that crap
thankfully such paranoia and mass hysteria never happened again.
I was born too late to witness the Challenger explosion but one day when I was 12 I stayed home from school sick and was flipping through channels when I saw CNN interviewing the Columbia crew live from orbit. The following Saturday morning I woke up to make a bowl of cereal and saw this happening on live TV
I remember seeing images of the warehouse they laid out the wreckage in, sad stuff.
my family drove all the way down to watch the shuttle launch in 1985 - i think it was the one just before the challenger.
when we arrived, there were cars all along the road for miles - so we just stepped out of the car, everyone did along the road, and watched from there..
saw it go up in an arc, which surprised me, i thought it would go straight up.
was a mile away or so.
i appreciate now the trouble my parents took to make sure we saw it happen in real life.
This was a great day in the UK. The pub I was at had a lock in, singing and dancing all night, loud music with the 24 hour news channel on mute in the background.

I love the kangaroo handler is all “he usually ain’t that violent”. Rags the roo just straight raping that ugly furry in the suit. Seeing the small kid around at the end gave me a bit stress luckily one of the hosts took her away yikes.
I remember seeing this live too. I couldn't believe what the newsreader said, but Mark Aiston was an absolute shit stirrer and very funny.

How did he recover from that? That woman's got a pair of balls.
What are the best 9/11 documentaries, I have already watched the Naudet brothers one.
I went on a 9/11 binge during the lockdown. PBS truly does have an excellent series on 9/11 related events on their website. Goes from 9/11 to the war to isis. Just recaps like 20 years of the fallout over 9/11

You really are smooth brained
I hate how every thing is fake and gay nowadays. We will never have a moment like this again because everyone is in on the grift and on payroll.
The multimedia industry was much more closed and corrupt in the 2000s than it is now.
Harvey Weinstein did nothing wrong.
Perhaps, but you can't deny it was more "fake and gay" back then with guys like Harv deciding what gets popular instead of the little people.
If the second plane didn't hit, where they still going to play that gay ass band jumping up and down like monkeys on the drums?
Maybe they were still hoping it was just an accident, so they were more relaxed. The second hit left no doubt that it's a deliberate attack and everyone realised how serious the shit was
i wonder if that band hates 9/11 because it ruined their big break

Everyone but the schizoest of schizos has moved past all the controlled demolition/micronukes/nanothermite/cruise missiles/etc. shit. Some planes hit some buildings, they burned, they collapsed, and some rubble hit and damaged a bunch of nearby buildings. That's what happened.
But it's also obvious that there were people who knew an attack was imminent and either ignored it or actively impeded efforts to prevent it.

Wtf
Not that anon but try being less angry. Jesus, just calm down.
>when you're so irrationally booty blasted you fail to realize the obvious
The best thing about 9/11 was the Yankees losing the world series that year. They were supposed to win for America TOP KEK
I don't even like basebore, but that was awesome
i just don't understand why zoomers are obsessed with 9/11
were they conditioned?
