Frick toys use to be so cool and creative, now they're all fricking shit or the same fricking shit but made cheaper.
I don't buy or play with them anyway but I dont think there will ever be an era quite like the tv show/merch tie in stuff like back then. Pure soulessness but soulful compared to now.

I visited Jap-land a few years back and for every EVA, One Piss, Naruto, or other "popular" anime food or other branded item. • 2 years ago
          Anonymous

Trains in Japan are interesting as no one would sit near me as a foreigner. Also received a lot of mean stares from men and the elderly. Overall, I was treated like the meme of "crossing the street when seeing a black man approaching".
To better explain; my girlfriend is native Japanese and I am a 6'2" 240 lb redneck white guy with a beard.
The scariest moment was when we were leaving a grocery store before returning to the girlfriend's parent's house. A few cops came up, separated us, and wanted to know if she was an escort or if I had taken her hostage. We were way off of the tourist path visiting her parents and where she grew up at.

You can easily order edible lingerie online that your partner wears. Either made out of gummies or smartie candies.
What I saw were individually wrapped, credit card-sized, gummy panties from some Cinemaphile show in a large display box that was discounted extremely cheap since they weren't selling. I've been trying to find a picture of them online but no luck with the search terms I've been using. I want to say that one of the girls on the package was blonde but the details are fuzzy as this was back in 2018.

In Australia you can expect to pay 2 to 4 times more for anything inside a vending machine for absolutely no reason.

I don't have a picture sadly but during Jurassic Park II craze there was a local pudding brand that came with a brick and a small metal pike, so you had to break the brick to reveal a skeleton dinosaur inside, like you were a paleontologyst. I think the dinosaur glowed in the dark as well. This was in Argentina don't know if it existed somewhere else at the time. I remember Lay's came with a plastic skeleton dinosaur you could assemble. The 90's were all dinosaurs.

these fast food toys were a lifesaver now that i look back on it. i grew up poor so i'm not as nostalgic about most items people post online in general except remembering starung at the boxes in stores or seeing them on commercials. getting these cool toys and collectibles with your kids meal was a godsend

      Anonymous

I grew up poor as frick, and if I was going to eat at a fast food place I was for damn sure going to get full-size food to fill my hungry belly instead of "kid-size" with a shitty toy.

He doesn't mean he was poor as in he was hungry and begging for scraps on the street, he was poor and didn't get many toys, hence free toys with your happy meal were a good thing

When the female Ghostbusters reboot dropped, the only thing I was excited about was the cans of Ecto Cooler. They were selling them for seven dollars a can at the theater, I didn't buy one. I got lucky, theater owner also owned a dollar store. No one bought the cans at that price, so they ended up at the dollar store. They kept dropping the price and I ended up buying like $20 bucks worth.

    At 20 cents a can.

It's tangerine flavored, so it's quite sweet. Also it's green. There really isn't any more to it than that.
