>avoid season 2 >Why?
The art becomes excessively experimental to the point of obscuring the narrative flow and the plot becomes extremely nonsensical and political-esque
>What are your favorite cosmic sci-fi comics?
It did have a few dubious retcons like Darkhawk's new origin, but cosmic Marvel from Annihilation through to the Thanos Imperative.
Honorable mention for the Green Lantern books from Sinestro Corps War until the New 52 started.
>What do you think of Slott's fun on Silver Surfer?
Most of it is just Doctor Who fanfiction but with the Silver Surfer instead of Doctor Who
>but cosmic Marvel from Annihilation through to the Thanos Imperative.
Counting Cosmic Marvel from Annihilation is a marketing tactic for plebs who don't wanna read Bronze Age. Starlin's Adam Warlock/Thanos comics were kino too.
I've recently got those comics in trades, but I haven't read them yet. Maybe I'll change my mind when I read them, but right now I can only give an answer based on what I have read.
That run was okay, but the longer it went on the more obvious it became that it was just reskinned Doctor Who fanfiction.
I like Doctor Who and even I couldn't handle how blatant it was.
OG Galactus trilogy
Thor 160-161
Kirby’s Fourth World
Starlin’s 70’s work through Marvel Two in One Annual #2.
Dreadstar
Jurgens JrJr Thor
DNA from conquest onward. Annihilation is subpar compared to what follows.
Giffen parody was funnier, it was short and it wasn't overplayed like Slott series
If you like cosmic sci-fi you gotta read Godland
>Benis dialogue from Slott
And I thought he couldn’t get any shittier
Is that from Scioli?
>avoid season 2
Why?
Yup, Scioli draws and Joe Casey is the writer. It is a big tribute to Kirby.
I really like the first 3/4 of that comic. The double size prison issue is a fricking classic.
>avoid season 2

The art becomes excessively experimental to the point of obscuring the narrative flow and the plot becomes extremely nonsensical and political-esque
That's fricking awful.
Slott is a cultural vandal.
The Green Lantern Season 1 and Darkstars/Blackstars
Avoid Season 2

Disagree, Starlin's Thanos comics have always been mediocre to bad.
Filtered hard
NTA but you haven't read his DC stuff with his definitely-not-Thanos OCs then. guy is a one-trick-pony
Are you on crack?
Starlin's space operas are the best in the industry.
NTA, but I feel like the build up to IG is better than the IG miniseries itself.
How do you feel about Dreadstar? I love that stuff.
